Just because you are getting air through your vocal chords does not mean you are getting oxygen to your aveoli or co2 out of the bloodstream. It's called spO2, the overall amount of oxygen in the blood, and when that drops to low The body begins to die. If you haven't been in an ICU you likely don't understand death due to hypoxia is a process that can take minutes or even days. The oxygen remaining in the body gets shunted to crucial organs as the body slowly becomes overcome: using more oxygen to breathe than the lungs can replace The body slowly shuts down due to hypoxia and acidification (as CO2 builds up) of the muscles controlling the breathing start to fail, so that each breath is less effective than the last. That's why his last breaths were with his arms and fingers. Every other muscle was spent. He let the last air out of his lungs, cried out, and died as a result of the knees on his neck and back.

now take that analogy and now we have GF on the ground where the key is 3 big hard back officers each weighing 130lbs+ on top of you and the pavement their body weight alone is sinking you into the pavement pressing your chest and diaphragm against the hard pavement, so that alone is preventing GF's rib cage and diaphragm from expanding therefore affecting his breathing, now CHAUVIN deserves the full extent of the law thrown at him because he ignored the advice from his colleagues to turn him on the side, and when shit really hit the fan is when the colleague said he's passing out and his general position never changed even after the departments policy is that once you detain or arrest they are in your care, anything happen to them you are responsible
anyways back to the point against the hard pavement and your diaphragm & rib cage cant expand from the front because the pavement is preventing this, from the left side because the offers right knee is kicked in your side with pressure, your back because is over 250 lbs on it that leaves one place the right side of your stomach to expand, how long do you think someone can survive for with only being able to intake 5-10%(my estimate) of the oxygen that they are regularly intaking with no pressure, the study says you can lose consciousness after 30-180 seconds, make a calculated guess how long that extends to on a very minute amount of oxygen.

For those who asked for more explanations of my initial comment:
Coronary stenosis can be asymptomatic or can cause angina pectoris (squeezing chest pain or pressure) and goes away in a few minutes, or can last longer and then it will reflect heart ischemia (damage due to decreased circulation to part of the heart) or a heart attack or, if much prolonged and affects a large part of the heart, cardiogenic shock. Sometimes coronary stenosis can cause sudden death (a clot closing a major artery to the heart).

Now, if you argue that George died from a fentanyl OD, than he most likely will not experience air hunger. Air hunger is crazy. It’s when someone panics. You will fight like crazy to get air. You will fight like your life depended on it, because it does. Again, their argument for air hunger was “I can’t breathe”. I don’t buy it.
