For every rising start, there is a fallen one, right? Where is Peng Shuai? In November 2021, in what was suspected to be a forced disappearance, Peng Shuai disappeared from public after making a post on Weibo. It detailed a long term affair involving Zhang Gaoli, a retired Chinese Vice Premier, who was reportedly accused of raping her. The news became widely censored in China.International concerns for Peng grew, and the WTA suspended all its events in the country. Peng has made limited public appearances (probably fake) since the incident and announced her retirement from professional tennis (also probably fake).

My comment is not about tennis but it’s about Olympic Games in general.
Westerners especially “the presumed super stars” think that once they are in the arena…victory will be theirs without a fight…wrong.
They forget that all of the others athletes have 4 years to master theirs skills so they can compete with “the presumed superstars” thus effort and perseverance prevailed then “the presumed superstars” for being sore losers play the blame games.
I am against dopers but I only believe in proofs…”innocent until proven”…else bla bla speculation is only for losers.
My second thought on what’s need to be done without any speculation is this:
At the start of any competition…all the athletes need to be tested then after any round of the competition until the final…test each athlete each round.
People are going to say…too much work, not enough manpower to do the tests etc…well, for transparency…Do it

Now China for sure will invest much more to Tennis, and maybe in the next 5 ~10 years, China may form another Dream Team in Tennis just like their Diving and Table Tennis.

Qinwen is presenting herself in a way that is upsetting the other players. Maybe because she’s young and hasn’t earned their respect yet, but several players have said that the women’s locker room is uncomfortable because of Qinwen’s attitude. @@eugenec7130 Your chosen language here is English. I hope you don't mind me helping you out with your use of English a little bit?
The correct phrase is "sour grapes", with an "s" at the end. It is not a syndrome with a symptom. This phrase is commonly used to refer to a person displaying a negative attitude to something because they cannot have it themselves. In the worst case, that person then says they did not want it in the first place 🙂.
An example, to make it clear: someone wins a tennis tournament. A competitor who played in the same tournament says "oh, I see that the other one won. But it's not worth winning this tournament, I just came for the practice, I didn't like the tournament anyway"
As you may now see, this is not the case in the comment I make.
I am not concerned about who won and lost, I favour no competitor.
I am simply using this chat to publicise the fact that PENG SHUAI said she was RAPED by the Chinese government official ZHANG GAOLI. She REPORTED it in a post, was SILENCED and has since VANISHED. The WTA tried to force China to inform the world about Peng Shuai by cancelling tournaments in China, but finally they did not follow up this Human Rights Issue because they wanted to make money.
I am using this chat to promote Women's Rights and Human Rights.
Questions for you, dear @eugenec7130 :
Why did they silence her ?
Do they have more Human Rights Abuses to hide?
