Every time Westerners lose to the Chinese, they find all kinds of excuses to attack the Chinese. On the Chinese network, they laugh at Westerners' glass hearts. If Westerners can't afford to lose, they should not participate in the competition.

I didn't watch tennis, but because of Zeng Qinwen's performance I did switch my eyes to her matches, live matches, from the semifinals then finals among the many competing shows on the Paris Olympics 2024. I don't know why some people became racist with Zeng's wins. But the Polish player in the final was bad, showed no sportiveness in her loss, showing ugly attitude as an athlete.
I hope Zeng will advance her career even surpassing her predecessor, Li Na. Congratulations to her gold in Paris OG, the very first one in Chinese Sport history! I am very proud of her victory. Cheers from Asia.

I think it's more the fault of the organizers, because it's not about Zheng not being allowed to be happy and celebrate. In his match against Nadal, Zverev showed how you can behave. You could have taken time for both, Zheng's celebrations and then a short farewell. I think the organizers could have at least briefly honored her career instead of just letting her leave the court without comment.

Seriously, what reaction do you expect? Would you care about other’s feelings more than your own if you were her? I doubt it, it’s easy to be the “always right, forever altruist guy” in a RUclips comment section.

Do you think Kerber at 21 years old would have beaten herself at 36?

This umpire was blind and delusional, but what to expect from Thomas Sweeney. He is known for his numerous mistakes in line calls and point awardings. This umpire always favors certain players over others. This umpire never makes fair decisions and this match wasn't exception. Zheng was favored by this braindead chair umpire. This umpire always is blind. I don't understand why tournaments keep on relying on umpire eyes and why money isn't invested in robots. A.I. would much better call the lines and award points than chair umpires. It's finally time to fire this braindead chair umpire.
