Thank you for the close up review. I have been undecided about what type of Mark IV pistol to buy but your review makes me appreciate this stainless steel design. Such a beautiful pistol with a classical handle design. I will save the 22/45 grip for my next 1911/2011 pistol. Thumps Up on your review sir!
A great improvement for an already great .22 pistol. Too bad they went the route of a cheap cardboard box instead of a hard plastic case like what came with my Mark III Hunter.
I have a question for you. I just picked up a Mark iv Hunter a few hours ago. I was at a local gun shop, they had one, and I took it. My question is the bolt stop seems loose when the slide is closed. If you shake the pistol in your hand you can hear it click around. It holds the bolt open like its supposed to, just not sure it should slap around like that.
I have a Mark III target model that is a great shooter and very accurate; but as you say the take down is a major pain in the ass!! I don't shot it very much for that very reason. I'd love to buy this new version but I'd take a huge loss if I sold my Mark III which is what I'd have to do. I couldn't see myself buying a new one and have the old one sit in the safe never to be shot again......
I love my MKIV but it would never replace my MKI 6 7/8” Heavy Tapered Target Barrel with it. I always thought that I was just a normal person but I guess I belong to a elite group as I have never had a problem taking down and assembly with my assorted MK series pistols.
Great HD Quality of your video! I Have a question: is the front sight material metal or plastic? Hope so metal.. . The disassembly seems to be very easy and breaks new ground - nice feature from Ruger. I haven't seen this model in Germany at the shooting range - perhaps too new.... it cost roughly 1095 Euro ( 1228 Dollar) here. But hey - hope I get one until June :) Greetings from Landau, Germany and thanks for the review!
Jessy Sajquim I'm buying this as my first hand gun Monday. I wanted to get a compact .38 or 9mm for carrying but they aren't that much fun at the range. Now I want this because it'll be fun and easy and I can buy tons of rounds for next to nothing. A lot of RUclips videos saying 22 is great for getting trigger time
Beautiful, user-friendly pistol, however, for me, Ruger blew it with the lawyer-proof trigger! Just bought a Mk iv 22/45 lite for $500 and now installing a Volquartsen trigger for another $260. Love my Mk II triggers - I have four of them. A 5 lb trigger SUCKS!
I picked one up middle of june 2020 now come with hard plastic case,, square notch rear sight, two silver mags.
Probably the BEST review on the Mark IV along with the BEST camera clarity!
Happy New Year! 2019
Bought a Mk4 Hunter yesterday......selling my Mk3. New takedown/reassembly system is GREAT !!!!!!!!

Nice video dude!! Picking mine up Friday!! Mine had the contoured grips,, just beautiful!!!!
Good job. I just purchased one today.
Beautiful 22. Got one on order!
Nice review. I'm waiting for the model with a threaded barrel.
Best idea Ruger has come up with in a .22. Doesn't come any easier.
And the mag release is spring loaded. Awesome!
love it I want one just subbed looking forward to future vids. I'm a ruger fanatic

That is a beautiful pistol!
That gun frame is milled from one slab of stainless steel! That’s one of the many reasons why this outstanding pistol can justify a price premium.
MAN that is a beautiful gun!
The lower end is CNC machined one billet where the older models where halfs. Nice.
Really lovely piece
Wish they made it in 22 WMR. Looks GORGEOUS.
what was your mos in the military?
Did you test bulk ammo with it?
I just bought the 4.5" barrel Talo edition I'm picking up today
Good review! Happy shooting!
Just ordered the hunter model in blued. Really wanted the ss model but couldn’t justify spending $200 more for it.
pretty neat, guess I'll wait another 40 for a .22 WMR, good to hear from you again

Love my Mark lV Hunter🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
For me to have a weapon of this only in dream, even more here in Brazil with the bureaucracy and the price far above the normal
Want one with a threaded barrel, anybody know when it will be out and the typical price?? Don't partially like the grip design
You don't like the way it looks or how it feels. It's awesome! Very natural.

this is an awesome looking gun, would you say this is a good first time handgun owner gun?
virtually no recoil & easy to clean!

Tried to buy one here in California and I was told it is illegal! It’s only a .22 caliber so I don’t understand why! Ridiculous...
Miguel Aguilera Yea. Commiefornia is a whole nother world with gun rights. Sad.
Fuck that is a beautiful, beautiful gun. Looks like something straight outta Bioshock infinite.
