American here. Stumbled upon Amyl and the Sniffers a few months ago. Just straight-up, un-refined, not over-produced, in your face punk, complete with video made for $10. Love it.
I love her and the band so much. You can see a lot of inspiration from Peaches in their music and in Amy's performance. Would love if they could do a colab of some kind.

I fuckin' LOVE this band. Found the KEXP @ Home gig in my timeline in 2021, and was instantly into it. I'm from Germany, and this November I'm gonna see em in Berlin 1 day after my birthday. That's a very nice gift. 💚

there is nothing that produces a grungy sound like the marshal belt amp - I've put a mic in front of mine plenty of times to get that crazy thrasher sound - it's awesome - and so is this band - greatest punk band since the Ramones

Appreciate that! Thank you! It’s easy to fall into the trap of only doing things that are viral, but that’s not what I started doing this. So while I do often cater to the market a little (because I have plans for my platform outside of this and I need to raise my profile) I do like to just do the occasional one just for the experience itself.
Having said that most of the time if a video is going viral among the reactor community there’s often a reason and those videos usually end up being pretty interesting to do anyway.
Unexpected but awesome pick! I've been into these guys for the better part of a year now, I think? I *love* them! They make me wish I was 20 again. I would have loved to have had them playing the clubs back in the day. They a live set not long ago and it was amazing.

😄 Need to dive more into AatS mate. Great Aussie punk from the Melbourne scene. Great songs to check out like, Security, Some Mutts, Guided by Angels, and Knifey. Such great aussie pub rock/ punk. You should check out a live recording too as Amy leaves it all out on the stage.
We only found AaTS a few months ago when we could only get JJJ while camping and they are now our go to fuck music! There isn't much modern music that I like but these guys are awesome. The first song we heard was 'Security'.
I think we may have differences regarding taste in music, but I've got to say, this was the most articulate reaction video I've seen. Nice work Mate.
That was a great reaction for someone who by their own admission is not really into the genre. I hope if they came to your town you'd go? Live they're fantastic and Amy is for the most part possessed by an energy so infectious the crowd has to respond. I saw a live vid once where she dived into the audience at the start and sung most of a song (Some mutts can't be muzzled, I think) surfing the crowed on her back with her feet on the ceiling ; when thrown back on to the stage didn't miss a note. They and Otoboke Beaver are THE punk genre leaders of their respective countries. Who knows you may someday interview Amy or Yoyoyoshie (I think her English is probably best of the Beavers). Thanx
I had this thought gnawing at me during the reaction that I just couldn’t articulate at the time. I was quietly attempting to define what her fierce attitude reminded me of, and now I see it.
It’s the same countenance as an ADHD riddled 10 year old boy who has been pushed beyond the point of frustration and his lack of available emotional intelligence that would otherwise temper his rage - manifests as wild eyed, teeth bearing, balled fist thumping, uncoordinated savagery.
It’s pretty cool. 😂
Having a grandson with ADHD who's 9 I can see this too. It's a good depiction but pretty sure my girl doesn't have those issues. She used to work the check out at a supermarket; can't see a sufferer handling that job well.

The Distillers is an American punk band but female lead singer Brodie Dalle is Australian. They are worth a look if you like Amyl.
mate if you want keep on the rock theme look up The Warning 3 sisters from Mexico who are currently tearing up the rock scene right now, anything from their live concert from Teatro Metropolitan from Aug last year is well worth listening to
Saw these guys last year, they were fucking rowdy.
This song and album in general is far less aggressive than the last album but still very good.
