I have a ten-year-old daughter who has been bullied at school for over a year. I put a few songs by Amyl and The Sniffers on a playlist for her and her mood improved. Of course, the music didn't solve the problem, but my daughter has acquired a healthy dose of indifference towards assholes. Thanks for that

The real ones always shine through. Amy comes off crazy as hell but in reality the way she sings is calculated, she definately knows what shes doing, shes guided by energy
I'm just finding this. I'm a 57-year old dude and 80s ex-punk who dropped out of the scene after Green Day came along. This his how punk should sound and look - angry, raw, and don't give a fuck. Downloaded and listened to both albums and EPs. I'm absolutely hooked. They are touring the US this summer (2024) and I'm going. Suspect that I won't be the only old man in the pit.

I live in England amongst hardcore punks, not that I am saying that England is stacked, I just mean I know a few, and I have gad a 100% hit rate with Amyl and the Sniffers, literally everyone loves them, whatever other stuff they like, US hardcore, 76 English prestige bollocks, Oi, NY stuff, post punk, they are all unified in this band.

It really is! They are for me more full tilt hard rock than punk. They have so many killer riffs and blistering guitar solos they put most established rock bands to shame! And with Amy they have that wildcard that sets them apart. Check out 70s Street Munchies by them. Another killer

I hadn’t heard of this band before yesterday, and I listened to half of this song and immediately ordered tickets to see them in Boston in November. This band rocks, solid tunes and a banging set
You will not be disappointed. I have seen them a few times in Australia from when they played small venues and then bigger and bigger ones. The crowds just bigger and wilder. Great fun.

I feel the same way, try out IDLES, Starcrawler, and Billy Nomates they also gave me similar hope and are newer acts.
