53 y.o. Yank here, i grew up with punk back in the late 70s and 80s. Somewhere in the 90s punk went pop and lost me. Kudos to Amyl and the Sniffers for reviving it for me. These young Aussies are killing it these days, keep it up!!!

Looks like I might be going to check out the Foo fighters because this band rocks!.... Foo fighters rock also but amyl and the sniffers are one of my favorite new bands.
NOT a fan of Foo Fighters & I have mixed feelings about stadiums, but I'll go to that IF there's a general admission pit area. What's better is in 8 days they'll be in Dallas & then Austin the next night! Yes, I'll go to BOTH and am considering following them to Atlanta and Oklahoma City. That's how great this band is! I just found them & haven't been this excited about a band in a long time.

Tight as fuck, killer riffs that only care about the song and the band. I think I heard a tiny tiny bit of Keith Richards in there somewhere and no matter how much the Stones became dinosaurs, Richards’ playing always just about saved them.
The bass and drums aren’t shabby either, and everything I’ve heard online has sounded great with incredibly solid timing.
A mate just told me about this AWESOME band , How fkn AWESOME it is to see the young Generation of Punk , ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING ,I am literally BOUNCING
