I'm 74 years old and have seen EVERYBODY. The Hives are by far the greatest live band I have ever seen! Got to meet and photograph them years ago, and they were SUPER nice. Long live the Hives!❤❤❤❤❤
I just turned 50 and decided to open up my mind to some new tunes. Just just discovered these guys. Jesus Christ....what performers. Absolutely fabulous. Already spent $10 on iTunes.

Will always be one of my favorite bands. They’ve always brought the spirit of late 70’s punk rock, both in sound and live performance.

Wow! I met Pelle this winter standing in line to a bar. I told him I’m a huge fan and that I watched their show on YT at KEXP just the other day. Now they’re playing KEXP again, 11 years later..

Im Swedish, but the one I listen to most of all now, Ren, saw them together with The Arctic Monkeys last summer. So the Hives is a must for Ren Gill fans!

girl is saying weep with joy at the end and I'm totally in tears. Saw ratm on their first tour in Belfast and this is a similar experience. Genuinely crying with joy listening to this. Just so correct. So right. So just utterly banging. This is proper rock, no kenting about.
Haven't thought about this band in like 20 years but definitely gonna check out the new album after this awesome performance!

As a guitar player, I love how they get such a full/percussive sound without using almost any overdrive/distortion at all. As a guitarist who loves playing mostly with overdrive I definitely admire that. Hope I get to see them live one day!

Powerful Guitars n a Quality Live Band
In this show they seem to use a fuzz pedal or something that they usually don’t use in bogus operandi I’m no expert but it sort of makes the noise disappear as soon as you stop playing if that makes sense. Still sounds good though

Witnessed them back around 2010 at summerfest in milwaukee....they presented like a well oiled machine on an 8 ball of meth....unforgettable fun from a band that looks like they could be playing a wedding or bar mitzvah. In your face potency that a live video can't even replicate, it has to be witnessed as close to the stage as possible

How fun and awesome was that?! Man, I would have loved to have been in the gathering space for this intimate show. The sound and camera work were fantastic as always. The drums were mic'd perfectly. Anyway, the Hives are truly one of the greatest live bands in the world. I thoroughly enjoyed this 🍻
Seen these guys live a few times over the years. Always fun and high energy. Pelle's stage presence and banter is an experience in and of itself.
I still love their energy. Always a highlight at a festival.

Im shure The Hives noticed the energy difference in South America. Trust me, you had to be constantly jumping if you wanted to breathe. Punches, hugs, sweat, danger. I got to even hold hands with the singer in the middle of a song for 10 seconds haha. This is THE BEST LIVE BAND I have seen. The Hives showed me how it should be done.

Wow! Till this day, I get so stoked seeing these guys perform. They bring such good positive energy. I actually discovered The Hives when I was in 8th grade watching the 2002 VMA, and I have been a fan ever since. I always dug their matching stage attire, too. Looks like they're influenced by the swedish designer Nudie Cohn who was the creator of the Nudie suits of the 1960/70s that musicians like ZZ Top, Hank Williams, and Elvis used to wear.
If you can make it in Seattle you can make it anywhere.
