Learned about this game 2 days ago, got curious, played the demo and fell in love with it. The gameplay was pretty fun and the art is gorgeous. If you are interested in it but aren't sure you want to buy it try the demo, you can use that save if you buy the game afterwards
I didn't know of this game til a few weeks ago and now I'm hyped! JRPG and strategy fans should play it.

Vanillaware never make pc versions.
Apparently Atlus wanted to put Unicorn Overlord on PC but their contract with Vanillaware prohibited them from doing so according to a recent interview with someone at Atlus.
For whatever reason, Vanillaware isn't in interested in putting their games on PC.
@@jimmythegamer2231 easy: it’s legit old Japanese business men mentality. With their style of art for sure there is “some” egoism on where they put games on and who places it, hence back then you got grim grimoire on ps2, kumaranchi on ds, grand knights story on psp, 13 sentinals on ps4 and such. Unicorn overlord from my knowledge is the first that releases on multiple consoles which is Nintendo, Xbox and PlayStation. I don’t know if that is something they wanted or atlus urged them to do on releasing it on multiple systems and give multiple players a chance to play.
@@jimmythegamer2231 I still hold out hope that it will be like a timed exclusive on consoles. And that ATLUS will convince Vanillaware, and will be able to bring it to the PC 😅🙏🏻

Just got my copy! So excited to sink hundreds of hours into this one!
I've been waiting for over two decades for a game with strategy gameplay similar to Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber. This has been everything i've waited for and more. This is exactly why Atlus is my favorite game company.
After playing that amazing demo. I went straight to pre-order the game.

Absolutely loving this game so far. Dialogue is a bit clunky via bad translation but by JRPG standards its actually pretty good. The game itself though is glorious, building unit strategies is fun, the 2d art style is gorgeous and there are enough difficulty options to tailor it however you want it. Can already tell I will replay this one a few times.
Atlus please persuade Vanillaware to release on PC

I ordered the collectors monarch edition, haven't received it yet. GameStop is screwing up, I've been waiting since day one. Nothing yet. Paid for it months ago. I love vanillaware and atlus games.

I just started playing this game after pre-ordering it on Nintendo Switch. =) My first playthrough is on Tactical difficulty and I'm enjoying every moment of it thus far! =D

Atlus actually wanted to have this game on PC, it's just that its developers Vanillaware rejected that request because they nevered had their games releases on PC, its their first multiplatform release, and have spent ten years developing as they ran out budget.

I'm playing it and I'm having a lot of fun, feel sad I have to play it emulated on PC and I can't give you your well-deserved 60 euros.
I am a big fan of your games in Thailand. I buy every PC release from Atlus, and I've just purchased Persona 3 Reload through Steam. I'm excited for the Expansion Pass for Persona 3 Reload, SMT V, and most importantly, this year's much-anticipated game, Metarphor. I'm planning to buy all of them because I love Atlus games. So please, bring this game to PC. I believe that fans in Thailand and around the world would love to play this game on PC.

Bought the PS5 physical version.
love the game and everything but i can NOT ENJOY most of the time with a clock ticking on the game.! i like to see my unit marching or flying towards the opposing unit but not to be rushed every time i enter a mission and done the mission on a given time frame!
