One of the best missions in the game. The absolute mad rush to the first catapult gets p tense considering all of enemies in the way to slow you down and drain stamina

*Spoiler warning*
You can start the battle in two different ways. The story urges you to meet Gilbert in a fort to the north before the battle. If instead you enter the battlefield from the south gate without talking to Gilbert first you'll get this dialogue. If you do it this way he will also not join your army after the battle.
I think the dialogue is probably meant to give you a little warning.

This battle can vastly be easy or hard depend how prepared you made your characters and if went elf first or not too.

@@SpoonyBird I couldn't figure out where to go to start the battle properly. I actually looked around and finally figured there was probably only one way. Gilbert didn't seem too interesting to me though, so I'm not really mad
