First rule of survival if you find yourself in the feywyld is never to tell them your name, it lets them control you. Second rule is Never to eat the food of the fey. And the third is to never accept gifts. This playthrough has broken all three of these rules.
It really does seem like these are fae and this is the Feywylds. Everything about it, they're innocent demeanor they put on yet the sinister undertones. She broke all the rules and now it seems she's stuck there.
@Aura_Dastler Tv Officially it's a D&D term; in D&D, the feywyld is the realm of fairies, the plane of existence from which they hail. Though in the context of my comment, I use the term feywyld as a blanket term for typical fairy worlds of traditional folklore.

Hmm, Sissy lost her identity as Sissy after the minigame with Milk. Above her speech no longer displayed her name until she reintroduced herself to be a passion fruit. Immediately after, Dumpling called her Passion, her new name. This town really is changing herself into something else. Also, her character design lowkey resembles a passion fruit. I wonder if later on, she becomes more fruit like, similar to how all the other characters look half food, half human rather than having an outfit "inspired" by food.
I think the food town literally is Gluttony. Y'know, the third circle of Hell. Lots of dog-related talk. Wonder if that's foreshadowing a confrontation with Cerberus.
It kind of reminds me of how the witch captured people and spirits in Spirited Away. She would make them forget their real names by giving them new names. The spell couldn't be broken unless they were able to remember who they before.
This game is the epitome of the saying "You can never go back home." I went from shipping Dumpling and Cinnamon to realizing *this is not a good place,* and honestly, I miss not knowing the truth.
Oh my goodness, when you pointed that out, I can actually hear that breathing. I have to turn up my volume so high to actually hear it. Well then, that sounds disturbing to hear when you go to sleep at night or uhh… some other thing.
This game really seems interesting. Kinda weird how she went from 'Sissy' to 'Passion Fruit'. Hmm... Either this is some strange cannibal's delusions or something else, but it definitely grabbed my attention. Dumpling kinda reminds me of Suga from Drizzling Rain. Communicating through signs and such. It's kinda cute about him. Though, it's too bad he's not interested in Cinnamon. They'd be quite a catch I think. Then again, with how much Dumpling keeps blushing, maybe he is interested in them? Also, nice to meet Milk, played by Sirius Gibson. XD Well, since we spent the first couple of travels through fruit, vegetable, seasonings an such, maybe the next part will be meat and chicken like places? Nuts and pastes? Guess we'll see.
Well Dumpling became my favorite character, oh and Tomato (i like that wierd vibe that he has). And i image Dumpling being like: You are never gona turn me gay Cinamon! Neveeeeerrr! Something like this. 😅😂😂
The reason she went from sissy to passionfruit is because she ate there food that’s why milk mentioned if we ate the food he and why he’s different he probably has a big stock of food so he doesn’t eat any of there food (but that’s just a theory😅)
Interesting episode so far. From what i can gather from this episode is that this game's story is a metaphorical telling of a young woman being consumed in some kind of morbid gluttonous desire? Which makes sense given the fact that we play as a girl called Sissy who represents a passionfruit. Passion: a strong and barely controllable desire for something. Interestingly the other two fruit characters Strawberry and Grape both have different coloured skin representing their corrosponding fruits, wheras Sissy now named "Passionfruit" does not. Also a thing to note here: Chili is actually a fruit not a vegetable as some would like to believe. And chilli can also be used as a spice which makes sense since both cinnamon and chilli are not that far from each other.
Searched up Passion Fruit, now I realize why she chose passion fruit. Her eyes are like the purple of the flower that passion fruit comes from, the white of the stringy petals is her shirt, and the ribbon in her hair would be the yellowish green that the passion fruit grows from.
I have a feeling with milk being worried one of two things has happened one the food sissy ate was drugged placing her in a psychedelic complicit state or she was so starved she was holusinating and had a taste of human or something else forbidden and stayed in the joyous state to deny the actions she took henceforth everything being happy go lucky and the psychotic break at the end killing and eating chili.
Milk got the perfect voice for him, and I kind of like the dynamic Dumpling and Cinnamon have with each other. This cast could make for a nice, fluffy game were it not for Sissy seemingly forgetting her actual name, the mysterious group who led her here, and Chili eating her only for her to wake up as if she decided to stay in food town. I've got no idea what happened there beyond some half-baked guesses.
I guess she just got lost in a forest, and was so hungry she started imagining a cannibalistic town as a beautiful one filled with nice people, but after being eaten by a cannibal she ended up in heaven with all the victims (This theory has a bunch of flaws but it's not impossible)
@@baconlovingvampire4523 why definitely not ? There are quite some things who make sense with the theory as well as many flaws but I can explain few of the flaws. You have anything of stronger evidence or a better theory that makes this theory of mine so far from the truth ? Or are you just saying that because you refuse the story to be like that. My points: - She finds a severed head of a person you can only meet in the "heaven" area -Due to the fact you find a dead person there it's clear that all the other people in there must be dead the other died, but how so quickly ? Of course she was starving and imagined an adventure with the corpses of the victims she found on the way (though, if she imagined an adventure i don't know how she knew about chilli so that could be a flaw, or maybe explained in a way but i didn't figure the way yet) and the story also has some flaws a normal person would make such as tomatoes being vegetables. -She gets really hungry although she could've eaten at butter and bread's houses -The beautiful colorful forest with "fruits" hanged on the trees suddenly become organs and gore, hinting to the fact all of this adventure was a pure imagination - People there telling her she cannot return to home but she can stay with them from now on, something along the lines of "are you sure you can still go home ?" And the list could go on. But as I said there are many flaws I cannot explain of this theory, but if you want to say "definitely not" please be constructive and bring something new, interesting and valid on the table.I'm not trying to convince people the theory is true, I just stated a theory, but if you are seeking so hard to "invalidate" it please at least *be constructive* and bring some arguments that I cannot explain (and there are plenty, I stated an example above .At least it makes your "criticism" constructive)
@@bluebeka2458 Not really. Chilli is also a "food" eating other "foods". How do you think they suddenly died and ended up with you? Of course they died before you. one Can't you see those organs hanging on trees ? They aren't the organs a simple ingredient would have. Besides let's use normal logic, so you're telling me that humans can simply be eaten by creatures with human bodies, human emotions and intelligence and not be called cannibalistic ? I don't even know if they were truly foods since I stated that she imagined this whole adventure while starving lost in a cannibalistic forest/town and she imagined an adventure with the people who own the corpses. Plot twist: Sissy is a D-Class and the scp foundation decided to analyze the effects of the newest scp they discovered, milk is a level 4 researcher, and chili is from the chaos insurgency
every time they mention that train the residents of the town I would get a really bad feeling. I dont think there is a train and the phrase is a kind of passcode for what is happening.
I think that eating the food made the world seem cheery, like, for instance, the smiling sun. I think that after the food wore off, and she became hungry, she saw the world the way it truly is. Or I'm overthinking and chili's realm or whatever is darker than the other places.
Mini theory since I’ve seen this game like 3 times now!!: Eating the food in the town helps convert sissy into a food, it’s drugged to keep up the illusion of food town. When she’s eaten she becomes fully converted, and it’s likely that milk (being a doctor type guy) heals her up so she can become a resident of food town. By that point she’s gone a bit mad and doesn’t need food to keep up food town’s illusion. It’s a bit like a cult ig.
_A Facebook group would be perfect somehow_ All you would see to begin with are seemingly innocent fruits and vegetables- cherries, peaches, cucumbers, chilis, & eggplants all wanting to "meat". Then you spice things up, some milk arrives & next thing you know, you get little grapes everywhere. Yeah, perfect for Facebook. Or Tinder.
I watched a anime and when the little girl tried to be a lady, they explained that they have to use the silverware from outside to the inside as it is from Starter, Main course and Dessert.
Though it was anticipated that the subtle, somewhat insidious undercurrent to the game would inevitably culminate in a reveal or twist of sorts, the vagueness and lack of specificity at the moment surrounding the true circumstances of this gluttonous village certainly breed interesting speculation. I don’t intend to solidify any sole, particular theory, as I think numerous have potential legitimacy, so I suppose I could enumerate some elements that I find a bit odd or notable. A few pieces of dialogue seem to suggest an iterative nature to Sissy’s journey, whereby she is able to apparently progress, but is reset back to the village, from which no one can ever fully escape. In conjunction with the almost inaudible whispers and illusory layers to this forest, there appear to be implications that reality might be difficult to discern. As demonstrated in the scene where the verdant forest of food reveals itself, in actuality, to be littered with corpses and gore, Sissy’s gradual indoctrination into this society and adoption of her own food identity warps her perception and makes her see vibrancy, beauty, and succulence where there is none. She can either stay, remaining in her blissful ignorance, or attempt to leave and embrace the truth. Regardless, I’m certain the darkness and distortion of this situation are still merely incipient.
oh my god are the people at the end,,, the foods?? teru acts like candy, mamoru looks like tomato, mitsuru is sasuke, idk who gin might be or kyrie but kyries a cutie idk maybe it isnt and im just :/ dying
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet since I haven't dived into the comments, but I noticed how Sissy looks like a Greek Goddess, and that her fruit is a passion fruit. It just reminded me of that one Greek story about Hades and Persophone and thought that Sissy and Persophone looked alike
@@bluebeka2458 I think they are people that escaped form the town. Cuz notice how they said, "And that's how we escaped-" Then shut up when Sissy came.
@@annieyu72 I like to think that even though they escaped, they’re not against sending another lost soul there to better their chances of actual freedom (they’re not totally out of the woods yet, and could still be ‘taken back’). That game fucking sucks
I played it on its chinese relesse date and it was so boring
True the gameplay is boring, without much gimmick other than getting stronger. Tho the designs is very nice
I absolutely love Food Fantasy!
Yup, they have facebook and all! Btw i like Chocolate, Coffee and Milk from Food fantasy!
@@bluebeka2458 Peking Duck and Butter Tea are godly handsome XD What's your acc ingame? I wanna add you
Kyrie is strange. They know something. And they did something to Gin there.
i felt dumpling's keyboard spam
Me: :]
Brain: "If Tomato's sauce is his blood, will Milk's cream be..."
Me: SHUT UP BRAIN.
I really hope everything gets well explained in the end, 'cause for the moment we just got a "classic edgy moment that came from nowhere" XD
It will all make sense.
Well, not all, but a lot.
Chivi-chivik it will all make sense but umm there’s a reason things changed at the end you’ll see
@@nagitokomaeda5990 I know. This comment was like 8 months old
I’m getting some “Welcome, poor man” vibes from Milk, ngl
Plot twist: Sissy is a D-Class and the scp foundation decided to analyze the effects of the newest scp they discovered, milk is a level 4 researcher, and chili is from the chaos insurgency
so i looked up a picture of a passion fruit, and its actually purple and yellow, like the color of her purple eyes and dress, and her yellow bow
every time they mention that train the residents of the town I would get a really bad feeling. I dont think there is a train and the phrase is a kind of passcode for what is happening.
Oh God no....He wouldn't take milk from himself.... would he? ó~ò well... we have seen a cow, then i guess it does the job...
We *have* seen a cow at the beigining of the game, just look it up. But i was thinking that he may cut his skin like Tomato, to get milk or something.
@@bluebeka2458 i rrly dun want to believe in the worst idea but... this probably may be the real thing...
@@bluebeka2458 maybe he lactates okay sorry bad joke

@@lillyuwu4054 its a possibility
I think that eating the food made the world seem cheery, like, for instance, the smiling sun. I think that after the food wore off, and she became hungry, she saw the world the way it truly is. Or I'm overthinking and chili's realm or whatever is darker than the other places.
Mini theory since I’ve seen this game like 3 times now!!:
Eating the food in the town helps convert sissy into a food, it’s drugged to keep up the illusion of food town. When she’s eaten she becomes fully converted, and it’s likely that milk (being a doctor type guy) heals her up so she can become a resident of food town. By that point she’s gone a bit mad and doesn’t need food to keep up food town’s illusion. It’s a bit like a cult ig.
Ah yes, those food websites. Like Cookbook and Nibbler. Myfridge went by the wayside long ago though.
Underrated comment
Catching up on old videos (specifically Death Mark) and going to this. Such a weird shift in tone.
Whenever terror, however moe, strikes into the hearts of men, Manly will be there.
It's Alice in wonderland but all that happened was a girl ate some mushrooms and wandered into a grocery store
Me sitting here in a corner while everyone is talking about the cannibalism: *"Dumpling x Cinnamon"*
No business unless you have good manners?
Sounds like the Rohan OVA of JoJo
Thus spoke Kishibe Rohan?
I'm still waiting for a OVA about Rohan goes to Gucci....
_A Facebook group would be perfect somehow_
All you would see to begin with are seemingly innocent fruits and vegetables- cherries, peaches, cucumbers, chilis, & eggplants all wanting to "meat".
11:30 dumpling is really cute when he does that sour-looking expression
Jesus man take a breathe ! Lol
Holy hell. Some paragraphs would be nice XD
Gods this game just gets more and more confusing
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how her bow looks like bananas?
Of course it has to be the technicolour rainbow hair Kyrie that’s untrustworthy
oh my god are the people at the end,,, the foods?? teru acts like candy, mamoru looks like tomato, mitsuru is sasuke, idk who gin might be or kyrie but kyries a cutie
idk maybe it isnt and im just :/ dying
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet since I haven't dived into the comments, but I noticed how Sissy looks like a Greek Goddess, and that her fruit is a passion fruit. It just reminded me of that one Greek story about Hades and Persophone and thought that Sissy and Persophone looked alike
"Don't get milk from yourself, pleaese" WHYYYY WOULD YOU PUT THAT IDEA INTO MY MIND, NOW I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT WHYYYYY
Suppose some guys would pay extra for the strawberry tea then...😭
So what happens if you wait? And who are those guys you see on the beginning?
True, we never know it how are those people. I wonder...
@@bluebeka2458 I think they are people that escaped form the town. Cuz notice how they said, "And that's how we escaped-" Then shut up when Sissy came.
I’m sure that you can’t actually wait and that you HAVE to go without Dumpling, but I can’t help but wonder if you can wait.
@@yandereskitty I wonder why they wouldn't help Sissy then and instead led them to the town in which they had to escape.
@@annieyu72 I like to think that even though they escaped, they’re not against sending another lost soul there to better their chances of actual freedom (they’re not totally out of the woods yet, and could still be ‘taken back’). It just seems like a natural instinct, like using someone to stay afloat while you are drowning. Just a theory though!
Manly: Stay away from chili, likes eating people
Me: *stares at chili pot that i cooked*
Loving the game so far! It's been pretty interesting and the characters are unique and quirky! Wonder if the villagers are _literally_ turning into food or if this is all some illusion for some forest witch's cannibal feast o.o
Dumpling wants Sissy to meet everyone in town and tell everyone about her getting on the train because they all are gonna run the train on Sissy.
25:30 she's lost it. Gone insane.
So... is milk is somehow still alive? Is that what he refers to as different?
Maybe he didn't eat any of the food and doesn't hallucinate
11:20 Manly impression of "eh..." is really amazing
Dumpling is a tsundere~~~
"Don't...get milk from yourself, please." lmfao
Milk looks like fucking Sal im crying
So this is where Byakuya Togami lives. Huh. I would have expected something else.

@@Aleiyui Thanks. 👋
Cinnamon: Aren't I cute?
Dumpling: (Slowly pulls out sign) *_No_*
I knew you'd give the rich voice to Milk. Hell, he even looks like Sirius too
Maybe they were all eaten and thata why they are "food" and she entered a place full of ghosts. And she got eaten and really did become a passion fruit. And those 5 others are the only ones aware including passion fruit (judt a little bit though)
Cinnamon’s and Dumpling’s relationship is adorableEeee
YES, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
her name changed to passion fruit as if....her mind is being warped
when milk asked if she ate anything from here....i had the weird suspicion...that oh boy I'm kinda scared
if you really think hard enough, bread and butter are technically siblings
Such a fun play-through! I can't wait for the next ending!
For some reason, i have a feeling that if she became part of the town she would be
[SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS]

THIS IS A SPOILER (well a mild one but still!)
She seemed to be the type of person who would serve herself to please people.... Both metaphorical and physically.... O-O
And the tinder of the food universe is “Tender”
So is Gin a food? Their name is Gin and they're all gin-colored...
Gin is actuly some sorth of alcoholic drink. So you could say that she belongs here, but i have no ideea what others are.
@@bluebeka2458 I also just found out (I'm not much of a drinker) that gin is usually clear, but it caaaan be brown/amber so I wasn't 100% wrong.

This game is a strange one indeed, in an interesting way.
I never thought I'd be immersed in a visual novel type game that had food as characters... or characters as food, or... my head is spinning, I should find something to eat.
Honestly it worried me when milk said not quite
Her name changes 9:54
Im starting to think that sissy was beekng slowly brainwashed to be passion fruit
Or drugged
That too
This is like Food Fantasy gone very dark and literal with food
I love this 💕
Dumpling and Cinnamon...
*SHIPPED*
I just realized it. Sissy’s big ole eyed character reminds me of those Littlest Pet Shop toys. Or those Lisa Frank folders.
Nonfat milk is for poor people? I am insulted. Nonfat is best milk don’t even @ me. 😂
Didn’t have cinnamon down as the cross-dressing type.
