Thank you so much!!!! Someone gave this very model to me and I didn't know how thread it was confused so I had it threaded wrong and tension too tight so it was bit slow and would come unthreaded. I rethreaded it and now all smooth going!!!!!
I can't get the bottom string up, , I tried just like you showed the needle is not grabbing it? Don't know what I'm doing wrong? Thank you for the info and video
I no longer have this machine. From what I see in the video, there is a screw that holds the foot in place. I don’t see a hook. Sorry I can’t help more.
I finally found the answer, deep into Google/RUclips, it’s an automatic threader! Fantastic addition to any machine! I recently was gifted this machine without a manual so I am a newbie to Brother machines. Thx, for video and response. @@nickiwesson433

Sorry that I am just now seeing your question. I recommend getting the manual. It should show you where to oil the machine. There are also quite a few videos about how to oil machines. I’m not the best person to tell you.
Sorry I missed this question for so long. I’m not an expert on machine maintenance. I recommend looking in the sewing machine manual or searching RUclips for a video on oiling this machine or one similar. Sorry I couldn’t help more.

What parts are you missing? I have had good luck looking for sewing machine parts on EBay and SewingPartsOnline.com.
