That slip of the foot @ 9:30 had me gasping. Have known many who lost their lives this way falling off the side of a mountain. Never takes your eyes off your footing.
It looks like the outer shell is one piece. I don't know if a civilian helicopter could have brought that up there. Probably a Chinook helicopter could - but it really depends on how heavy it is - hard to tell. The only other way that could have gotten up there would have been to use a mechanical hoist pulley system - but that presents some problems too - it would seem that it would have been bashed to pieces when pulling it up. Wonder if there is an explanation web page or video somewhere of how they got it up there.
@MrSaiga308 Hi I actually build things for a living. You do realize that a team of men could lift all that up there. You westerners say helicopter, meanwhile a sherpa is laughing. Humans have built larger structures in the mountains without modern technology
Could a Sikorsky helicopter have brought up the capsule in one piece with a construction mountain climbing crew waiting ? Those helicopters can tow insane amounts of weight.
Looks to me that they brought it all up in one go. So you'd basically have people prepping the site for when it arrived by drilling the pins that secure it to the rock, attached to a surface where things can be bolted to the pins (probably 4 bolts on each corner of each leg), then you'd align the legs with the pins and slowly lower it and bolt the legs down. You'd probably have multiple men ready to go to bolt it down as quickly as possible, maybe even as many men as there are bolts, so that it doesn't have time to move much before it's bolted. They'd use something like an impact driver that rapidly secures the bolts, but obviously dangerous work. They may have also built a kind of framework cradle for the whole thing to rest in, so that it could be dropped off quickly by the helicopter without needing to secure it, and then removed that framework after they were done securing it in place. That's probably the most likely answer, because it's the safest way to do it.

Love seeing chul on your adventure
What an adventure!
Going up would not have been a problem for me, coming back down would've been the challenge.😬
Thanks!
Many thanks🙏🙏🙏for taking me along with you two on such a fantastic overnighter🇨🇦
Wow! The timelapse was fantastic!
wow this is awesome. Really like your editing and videography styles and those time lapse 😍😍
Your "lonely" experience involved more human interaction than my entire week.
Being stuck in the friend zone is rough. Keep your head up.
This is exactly what me and my girlfriend(soon to be wife) are dreaming of, and we are working hard to be able to travel like this. You inspire me alot and I really wish we will be able to make our dream come true,
What a brilliant adventure and story of a normal person attempting abnormal things. very inspiring
Yeah, these are the kind of people Search & Rescue saves every day.

Her voice was so soothing.
How did you record that night time lapse??! It’s amazing!!!
He mentioned in another comment that his camera battery lasted about 4 hours taking a photo every 30 seconds!
@@jPup_ oh ok, thanks!
That sure was an amazing adventure 😍 you both had what a hike from the lowlands up over the ice and snow ❄️.
You both did an incredible job making to the capsule❤.Thanks for having us along 😀 greetings from England 🇬🇧 Simon and Beth ♥️🙋♥️
Bernardo, your video is fantastic! The scenes are incredibly beautiful, and your filming skills are exceptional. I hope you can create even longer videos. Thank you!!
More than anything else, I'm wondering how this capsule was raised to that height and installed to perfection. 😮
It had to be a helicopter, right?! So crazy. The cracks all around the rock make me nervous though 👀👀
@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist2 when you look at this landscape, this mountains ,it"s His Majesty you can only think of.How can someone think all this beauty came from a random big bang?!
Lol.....yeah, I was thinking: I wonder how this is anchored.
Absolutely, the thing was probably helicoptered up in sections and attached up top. Probably fiberglass or aluminum so not too heavy. Definitely expensive af
@@miremunte4177 do you really mean this capsule is coming straight out of the big bang? the old one the original?
She is definitely more than just a friend 😁
well he wants her to be lol
She has a wedding ring though...
Wow, I just wish you could have explained more about the cabin, such is how the stove is powered, although I later saw the solar panels in your overhead shots. I guess they used a huge helicopter to lift it up there.
wow this video is amazing!
they definitely smashed on there
Yeah! Also, the morning scene where he goes outside the house to "watch sunrise" is actually going out so she can poop. 😂
yeah he seems a little extra happy the next morning lol

Is there a bathroom in that pod? It wasn't revealed in the "tour", but there must be a way that is addressed, either inside the pod or perhaps an outhouse of some sort on the outside.
I was thinking the same. Makes you wonder about drinking water coming down the mountain.
the name of this hut is: "GERVASUTTI HUT"
You inspire me Bernardo!
Much respect and gratitude to you, from a long time follower in Manitoba, Canada!✌🏻
The view of the nighttime sky up there must be spectacular.
Que conteúdo incrível Bernardo! Paisagens incríveis!! Muitos Parabéns pelo incrível trabalho!
I wonder who cleans the sheets 😂
The most beautiful place I have ever seen in my live.

Does anybody know where exactly this is? I want to go there too :)
I find it: this is the GERVASUTTI HUT
"bivacco gervassuti"
the next bigger town is Entreves.
But judging from the pictures online it isnt allways that empty.
But I think you should only go there if you have a bit more experience in mountaineering than him.
That's so cool see how you guys do simple things and all this make others happy while watching and felling this vibe of beaultiful views , cold wind and peace .
Que vídeo incrível e que paisagens lindas! Grande aventura, Bernardo! Parabéns, por mais este trabalho fantástico! Um xi❤️
Love that experience! Could I ask where is this capsule? It would be great if you can provide some booking information like their website or ig. Thank you
It's called Bivacco Gervasutti in the Val Ferret. But beware, the ascent is very dangerous and only for experienced mountaineers!
