The comments crying about Mu have not aged well. She was not in race shape and would not have medaled even if they brought her to Paris. She couldn’t even break 2 minutes at the Holloway meet in Florida a few days ago. Give it up.
This fall also cost the 5th place lady a spot on the Olympic team....put her back 2 or 3 seconds which would likely have given her 2nd. Sad end to 3 years of work
1.57.37 would have finished 7th in the recent Diamond League race, which is where Wilson actuallly finished in it. Mu was the only realistic chance of a medal.
