This game confuses me. I have no idea what the hell is going on, the gameplay looks like a hot mess (to me) but the cutscenes are godly. The only thing I DO know is that I, and everyone else, is madly in love with Astarion.
This game is based on DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) tabletop rpg system, 5 edition. Basically, you can do whatever you want if the dice is in your favour, here your only God is RNGesus. On every occasion DnD has it's rules, of course, but some rules are being broken constantly even by Larian, but only to make a fun game.

@@83uwb if you're interested, Larian has another set of games like that - Divinity: Original Sin 1 and 2. They did a great work on how you can interact with the environment.
You're not alone. I hate tabletop or DnD type of games but that doesn't stop me from falling madly, desperately, irrevocably, unconditionally and evidently in love with Astarion. Not to mention he's a character with a lot of layers to him. When I explored a bit, through cutscenes of course, I found him even more enduring despite his sass and occasional manipulation
No just have Lae'zel in your party and rest right after you two speak to Zorru. The same cutscene appears (with little changes) when you first learn about Priestess Gut or Halsin and rest immediately
How did you get this cutscene? I've almost finished my first playthrough while romancing Astarion but this scene never came up for me. Does it have to do with the gith creche?
Она появляется когда вы узнаете о гоблинше-святоше(??) (Гат?)/Халсине/местонахождении Крэша гитов(поговорив с Зорру) и сразу же идете отдыхать. Если идти отдыхать не сразу, то можно эту сцену профукать. Она появлялась у меня со всеми компаньонами, так что не думаю, что оно мешает. Не всегда знак появляется над головой тоже
Gender is irrelevant to all companions. I think some of the devs have personal ideas of what sexualities the characters are, but all of them are "playersexual" for the purposes of the game. Astarion specifically is apparently thought of as bisexual though so even outside of the context of the game, nah, doesn't matter.

Does this scene only happen if you've slept with him? Or do you only need high approval?

It is I forgot how to get this cutscene though, I got it and the dialogue was a bit different because I got it before I went to get Halsin

I play as male but he doesn't care what you have in your pants. As well as any other companion
