I use this in my steam cleaner, leaves carpets perfect with no residue to grab dirt and gets rid of stains as well as odors! Works so much better than any other specialty carpet cleaner.

OxiClean turned out to be the best product, mixed with a little laundry detergent in water and used with a stiff brush, to clean the light colored grout of my kitchen and entry hall ceramic tiles. Two other "specialty" grout cleaners failed in comparison as far as speed and number of applications. Your concrete garage floor demo was astonishing! Great video!
The oxi clean gel stick is a holy grail cleaning product for me. The scrubs that I wear while at the hospital get stains from everything, even blood. I put the gel on the stain before the wash, and my scrubs come out stain-free.

I did my own test with my white shirt ( just out of curiosity) a couple years ago. I soaked it in oxiclean and soaked in bleach, then washed. The oxiclean really blew bleach out of the water. These where old stains too. Its not something that is popular here in the philippines, but its amazing how well it works considering it seemed like a gimmick late night product sold on television.

I love it. We used it for years on my karate uniforms. But for some reason we stopped using it over the years. Since I've started a cleaning business recently I've started using for cleaning. I'd forgotten how great it is for clothes. I be this would take out stains from burgeoning tanning lotion.

Would have like to see how if you let the stain SET in like 24 hrs then use Oxi clean not just pour liquid on then wash, always easier to get stain out when treated fast
That’s a good point, I’ll have to think about trying that in the future. Hopefully, most stains are treated shortly after they occur but I know that isn’t always the case. I appreciate you writing in and sharing your comment. 🤗
This happened to me. I was wearing an I ivory colored blouse, holding a glass of red wine. Little nephew runs up to me, splash! All over me. I was staying at a hotel so it didn’t get soaked until I got home next day. I thought for sure it was ruined, it looked as if I had been stomping grapes all day. This stuff actually worked! Not so lucky with my kitchen towels, however. I like them all white.
Would love to see results of your detailed test on stains that have dried on the fabric for at least 24 hours. Will be fascinating to see results. Thank you for your informative videos - you're the best !

What a level of professionalism in this video, I'm curious if it can remove oil stains caused by vaseline? I noticed when i put it on beneath my pants it left very obvious dark stains on the knees, gonna have to try oxi clean.
Good question! OxiClean could be a good option for removing oil stains caused by Vaseline
I _think_ Oxy is usually really good for any stains that are considered "organic" (food, blood, sweat, grass, etc) but less effective for "inorganic" stains such as really greasy or oily stains, permanent marker, dye (shoe, hair, or clothing), etc. But there's always Dawn. :-)

I usually use between 1/8 and 1/4 scoop of Oxi-Clean in the bucket I used. And I usually clean 8-10 shirts at a time. You can use too much of any product but in this case you're not putting it all in the washing machine which is the concern, you're just soaking the clothes. Using more of a detergent doesn't make your clothes cleaner, it just uses more detergent. Use as much as you need and no more.

I love this stuff my daughter had a brand new white shirt her aunt bought her. We had a huge family get together she cam in the house and her white shirt of now brown mud and oxiclean. Got it all out !!!!

It works for menstrual blood. Mix a pail of water and oxi. And add stained items. Let soak untill laundry day or stains come out. Would Love to see how it works on baby stains and medical type stains.

I had stains on denim pants due probably to how old it is and one from washing it, does oxyclean work on pants as well?
Yes, OxiClean does wonders on most any stain - pants included.

I used OxiClean for the first time a few weeks ago to clean the grill plate underneath the microwave -AMAZING!!! The stuff works! My only concern though is that if it is harmful to aquatic life, and you have to dump it down the drain when you're finished using it (also in the washer) doesn't get back to the water supply? Just curious (and a bit concerned). Thanks for your review. BTW way your reviews are like OxiClean - awesome :)

A lot of the ingredients in OxiClean are actually biodegradable. I use the fragrance free version which has 3 ingredients (Sodium carbonate, Sodium carbonate peroxide, and C12-15 alcohols ethoxylated) all of which are readily biodegradable. A lot of those scary long chemical names in many cleaners (like (C10-C16) Alkylbenzenesulfonic acid) are actually completely biodegradable. I'd recommend if there's a version of OxiClean you like or one you're interested in a quick google search can sometimes be all you need to find out how biodegradable a product is.

I have a shirt with red dyed and it stained itself can I use this to remove the dye transfers with out destroying the red graphic? I've tried bleach and tide and nothing
No, this will not work for that. This is not a magic trick, it's a laundry soap that is excellent for removing underarm stains and ring around the collar. It does not reposition what is now tie-dyed designs to their original positions.
I have a neon yellow cycling jersey that I washed with black garments. Now I have several "blotch" stains on it. It's been that way for years. Is it possible to eliminate the blotches while keeping the nice neon yellow? THANKS (just in case this actually gets answered)!
It's possible that it would work. I wonder if the black garments dyed the jersey. 🤔 And the OxiClean has 101 uses so if you try it and don't get the results you want - at least you can use it on 100 more things. 😄

I washed my Taekwondo uniform, with Oxiclean, after one year of using Tide. Its care tag says not to use bleach. It came amazingly clean, stain free, and white!!! It looks brand new.

I soaked some white sheets in oxy clean versatile for colors. My daughter gets bloody noses and it’s hard to spot treat all the areas on large sheets. They’ve been washed and dried many times. They sat for about 7 hours. One scoop according to directions. A pink item came out super bright. Not the white sheets. Do I add more powder and sit over night or do I buy one of the other oxy products for whites? Thanks!
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that one item came out too bright. I use the regular OxiClean - not one of the specialty varieties. I'm not sure without looking at the safety data sheet the difference, but I would use the regular OxiClean for all laundry, colors as well as whites. For removing blood stains, here is the paid link amzn.to/3ivhaUQ for one of my favorite products. It's called Blue Magic spot and stain remove and is designed for upholstery, carpet, vehicles and fabrics. I've been using it for 15-20 years and am a huge fan. A can of it on hand for situations like this may be a good investment. (Note: you can find it cheaper at AutoZone.)

The tub shown has a scoop in it. You can use a 1/4 cup for a load in the wash without soaking and you'll be good to go (this is assuming you have a front load washing machine.) I believe you need more detergent if you have a top load. Soak if you have stains that need to be removed. :-)
Do you think this would work to take our stains/dirt from the grout lines between the tiles on my bathroom floor?
Yes, it has bleach in it, and will brighten the grout in any color safely. Let me know how it works for you.
You mentioned that your uniforms are made of microfibre cloth would it make a difference if it is cotton?
Not as far as the washing goes. The same rules apply to washing cotton you can still soak them in the OxiClean, (The terry cloths we used in the demo are cotton) it's just that for uniforms cotton shows you sweating a lot more than the wick away fabric.
Wonder if the stained item is washed and dried before the stain is seen if oxi clean would still lift the stain?

Can you use oxyclean to clean carpets? (in a carpet cleaning machine?)
I've seen RUclips videos that say you can, I personally have never tried it, but it is a great question the manufacturer may be able to answer.
I did that once and it turned the plastic container so brittle it fell apart. It wasn't an all of a sudden occurrence, but after sitting unused for awhile when I tried to use it again. I had rinsed it out afterwards.
Can you use it to clean floors?
It is primarily marketed as a laundry stain remover and general-purpose cleaner for various surfaces but, it's not typically used as a floor cleaner, especially for hardwood floors or other sensitive flooring materials. If you decide to try it, it would be a good idea to test a small, inconspicuous area to check for damage before trying it on the whole floor. Hope this helps. 😊
Can I sprinkle oxiclean versatile stain remover on my carpet leave it for an hour then vacuum so it can pick up odors and fight them please get back to me
You might be better off with baking soda. OxiClean is really designed to remove stains rather than odors.

Invisible mold and mildew from clothes? How would you be able to tell if you have it if it's invisible? It's designed as a laundry detergent and is quite effective if that is what you mean.
Yes that’s what I mean . I Read online few reviews that people had moulds mildew on clothes wash few times with Oxiclean and mould mildew came of. I got today my Oxiclean by mail. I can’t wait to use it. Can I soak clothes over a night?
I can't help but feel that OxiClean is not the household wonderment that it once was. When I first came out I used this product and a dirty, dingy white curtain that we had in the bathroom and it blasted the dirt away without the need of having to wash it afterwards. Looked like it came fresh out of the bag. I think I'll revisit another test to see how it handles again
I worked on my mom's Jeep this past weekend. I figured perfect because I have Dickie work clothes that are made to get dirty and I'll try OxiClean to clean it. And sure enough I did brush up against the undercarriage got some nice oil/grime stains on the uniform. Washed using OxiClean, did not work.
Note: I did not dry in between as if I was going to re-wash I did not want the dirt dried into the fibers.
Washed it again, did not work. I let it soak in a bucket of hot water 12 hours and then re-washed. Still dirty.

Which one do I get for everyday laundry?
You can use the same one amzn.to/3juieIs for everyday laundry - you just use a soaking bucket if you have tough stains to get out. (My work uniforms are always nasty, makeup on the collar, sweat, dog hair, dust, maybe food. LOL.) I soak my uniforms and for the rest of the clothes, I just use it as a powder laundry soap.
Hi Angela, liked the demonstration but the iced tea was a bit of useless test. Being an Australian I drink a lot of hot tea - black, green & milk tea. Let me tell you I never use a stain remover on black or green tea or iced tea stains however milk tea or coffee stains are another matter as if they are left unattended these stains will ruin a garment. Other than that good demo & very informative. Thank you 🇦🇺

It can. The key is to soak the stains before washing. If it's just a small spot OxiClean Max Force amzn.to/3glJ45m may be another alternative. It's great for spot removal.

So I have basically almost a load of laundry that’s been covered in dried lipstick stain because stupid me forgot to check pockets before washing🥲 and it’s all dried now. Will it remove old underarm stains?
Hi. 🙂The stains I tested were fresher underarm stains but the 24-hour soak method worked very well. Since you have old stains, maybe try the soak method and then a wash cycle. Good luck! 🙂
I've noticed the lid to the Oxi Clean tub is very loose and doesn't fit securely.
Try turning it upside down. The lid looks the same on both sides (it is a weird lid) and it doesn't fit as well if it is on upside down. Just flip it and it will fit again. :-)
Can it remove soot from plastic?
It's possible. I'm not sure what type of soot and what type of plastic. You may be better off with a a product like Krud Kutter Original cleaner/degreaser concentrate amzn.to/2YvrgfB (Don't buy it here, you can get it much cheaper at Ace Hardware, or Home Depot.) This is so you know which one I'm talking about.
I have been using OxiClean for many years. I use it in my all my daily wash with a little detergent as well. It's great for stinky workout clothes, and also brightens towels and sheets. Love this stuff. It's fantastic for stains, of course.

Where is the grease? On a surface? Clothing? The floor? The tools and techniques used will vary depending on the type of surface you are cleaning.

Does it remove ink stains?
Depends on the ink.
Try it..do not dry in dryer if it didnt come out. Try alcohol (hand sanitizer is a good consistency) and as a last resort, I've used acetone (fingernails polish remover WITHOUT the conditioners). Check for color fast.
A product called Soil Love gets out ink stains. Sold at 99cent stores. Its a laundry stain remover but I use it throughout the house as a degreaser and cleaner.

What about grease? My husband always has greased stains on the front of all his 👕 shirts and sometimes ive used corn starch to soak up or baking soda and scrub with toothbrush

Please don't mix chemicals of any sort. Ever. You can dilute them with water but unless you are a degreed chemist and have lab experience with cleaning chemicals - mixing chemicals can be a fatal mistake.
How in the world do we dispose of the dirty water containing this product? It's toxic to fish and other aquatic life and not to be put in the waterways, sewers etc. Pouring it down the drain doesn't seem safe.
Pouring it down a drain in your home is the only way to process it properly - where it will go to a treatment facility. Waterways are not treated and they do go directly to rivers and streams. Great question. :-)
Septic systems don’t go to processing plants. Water goes through a leech field - usually your yard - and then drains into whatever waterway is downstream.

It doesn't seem like a fair test to dump liquids onto things to create stains, and then see how the oxy works during the first soak in any water. First at least rinse the towels to see what comes out naturally, what comes out with regular laundry soap, THEN see what Oxy does on top of that regular process. Otherwise you're comparing oxy to water or to regular laundry detergent.

Lies oxi doesn’t work
Wait! What? I have been using it for years and LOVE it. And I've got 70K+ 5 star reviews here amzn.to/3G5cwdl (paid link) that have figured out how it works. How are you using it that doesn't work? There may be one small thing to tweak that would make all the difference. Tell me more.
Doesn't even work on a simple mayonnaise stain. Useless product.
How did you apply it?
I have zero luck with Oxi clean. Feel like I live in another reality from so many. For decades I try it every once in awhile, and still no positive results. None. Clothes, hard surfaces, etc...nothing. Now will say never used it to brighten colors, so cannot say it works there. Whites, literally no difference. It works just as well if I scrubbed the area, as I do when using the product. Tried numerous tests. Really think it is in peoples heads that it works.
