*IVE REDUCED MY STACKING TO 1/4oz AGEs & BRITANNIAS.. JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST $5 LIBERTY & $5 INDIAN HEADS THIS MORNING.. I LIKE THE SIZE IN HAND AND IT FITS MY BUDGET WHERE I CAN GET ONE EVERY OTHER WEEK.. I PLAN TO ROTATE BETWEEN THE 4 AS I CONTINUE STACKING.. THE DOUBLE EAGLE & BUFFALO ARE MY FAVORITE DESIGNS, BUT I DONT PLAN TO BUY 1oz COINS*
I started back in 2016 with a type one gold dollar, I still have it and over the next few years I put together the 12 piece type set. One of the funnest sets I’ve ever put together! Although I don’t plan on selling that gold dollar since it is the coin that started it all, I do want to upgrade it. I made a video of it, it is in a rattler .
Since I only wanted one US gold coin for my collection, I opted for a 1834 Classic Head Half Eagle in PCGS AU55. I love the design and they were affordable. I think I paid about $1200. I would have preferred a Draped Bust Half Eagle but since I only buy AU55/58 it would have been close to $10,000. The price made my choice fairly easy.
I feel like the 2 1/2 dollar gold is undervalued and would be a good first buy myself. I bought a MS $10 gold a few years ago and made 400 dollars on it already but bought a few this year and have yet to break even but that is the hobby you mostly have to hold until it realizes more value. I'm not selling anytime soon. Try to buy on the market dips or recessions if you can is my advise.

Good for you, sounds like a fine strategy.

I really like the $10 Indian it’s such a great design! I have both graded and ungraded
The $10 Indian is a great design by Saint Gaudens.
Wow very nice sharing ❤❤❤🎉
Thanks for watching & glad you enjoyed it.
Another great video! 👍
I hope it gives people some direction.
Thanks again.
I love pre 1933 gold Double Eagles. That's all I buy.
It's a winning strategy!
My rules are to buy any pre-1933 slabed gold coins in MS grades. I don't care about rarity. I just buy what i can easier afford.
Sounds like a good strategy, keep it up.
