- What is Pre-33 Gold? Is it must-own gold for your stack? And what gold milestone did I just cross? In this video I show my latest piece of Pre-33 gold and share a gold milestone I just crossed. I’ll also explain what Pre-33 gold is and tell you why I think you should stack it!
Silver has led gold up dramatically recently, and I certainly have not avoided stacking silver. In fact I just bought some constitutional silver or junk silver a bunch of silver rounds. However, gold is still on my radar, and I believe it won’t be long before gold tops $2000 an ounce...especially when the Fed pauses and pivots its feckless inflation fight. Big shout out to SD Bullion for selling this constitutional gold coin to me...a $20 US Liberty Head Double Eagle Gold Coin. These are US gold coins minted prior to 1933. Before Gold ownership was made largely illegal via FDR’s executive order. They were meant and used for circulation and were literally in the pockets of mostly wealthy individuals. They are beautiful coins that typify the freedom of thought and attention to detail of a bygone era. This is REAL money. REAL wealth. The hallmark of SOUND MONEY! "SD Bullion Silver Bars" I built my stack with 1oz silver bars, rounds, and coins for the same reason as you easy bartering but I also added fractional gold. Now I just buy want including 200 oz in 10oz bars. Never know when or what you might need after SHTF and what amount it might take. Oh yeah, the gold coins we're 1894 90% and 2007 year of the pig. Keep a good stack. People will always pay for the shine.👍

"SD Bullion Silver Bars" are great for stacking silver at a lower premium over Silver Eagles and Constitutional silver, not to mention you can use them to barter for larger items so you can keep your 1894 Double Eagle. I can't believe that you are giving away that 2007 1oz "Year of the Pig" gold coin, you are a true patriot!
I am already a tried and true SD Bullion customer and one of my first purchases was "SD Bullion Silver Bars". I have much of the same ideas of how I stack silver with ease of barter being of importance. I can't say that I have anything from 1894 and 2007 but I am certainly not against getting some.
I own a 1894 $20 NCG MS62 in my collection. Double eagles are beautiful coins.

New stacker & subscriber. Appreciate all the info - including the insightful (and amusing) interviews w/ Tim and periodic reviews with SD. So many options. I just ordered Rounds from them, but will consider those SD Bullion Silver Bars. This vid was also a great overview on Pre-33. Plan to diversify, once I finish my initial silver stack goal. Congrats on the 1894 coin and reaching that 50 ounce milestone. Not sure I'll achieve that one. And giving away that 2007 gold coin will be a gracious way to celebrate and share your milestone. Loved this video the first time around and we love "SD Bullion Silver Bars" too, But nothing beats an 1894 $20 Mint Liberty Head gold coin unless of course, it's a gold coin 2007 Year of the Pig with QE2 on the reverse!

SD Bullion Silver Bars are the BEST 10 oz bars to acquire. 1894 was the birth year of my great grandpa as well as the gold coin you have. 2007 was quite a while to have owned that….well before the run up in price. Good for you!

Congrats, Yankee, on the gold milestone. Like you, I am not a PMs purist who only buys one kind of PM. I like silver and I like gold but for different
uses and reasons. I go by the "your money, your choice" line of thought. I don't care what PM people decide to buy with their money. I am just glad
that they are stacking something of good value for hard times. Stack it high, wide, and deep!
I do like the idea of having some fractional gold coins. The time could come when I need to sell some gold but don't want to sell an entire oz. for
some reason or other. I like having more options for unknown future situations rather than less. Flexibility is key, IMO, and more is better than less.
