The only thing I love about Dubs is that.. luxury cars are dirt cheap there, but then again.. it's always covered by dirt. Spent 6 months working in dubs in 2007 and, nothing to shout about, everywhere shawarma and hookah. Glad I'm back in Malaysia with greenery, spectacular choice of food and the tropical islands. More money too..
Dubai is a nice city but the biggest con for me is the feeling that it is soulless. Old Dubai has a soul but in most cases that is not why people are in Dubai. Also it sometimes attracts a particular type of person that is overly impressed by money, glitz and glamour. In the UK it might appeal more to new money whereas old money might see it as ghastly. Nevertheless, soulless or not it is a good place for an escape holiday where you know it is fake but are happy with the service and relaxing holiday.
People try to go on holiday but this summer it was quite an issue. I stayed there this summer and the weather was unbearable. Nowhere to walk or escape the heat outside.
Agree with all the points you’ve mentioned!! Specially about the weather and working hard thing!! It’s never like 7-8hrs of accurate log in log out!! Way beyond than what we expect...so demanding work culture...nothing can be postponed!! It’s been a year since I’ve relocated from India!!
Went there on holiday a couple of times and loved it, after school I moved there for a year and worked as a waiter. Finally, I saw the true Dubai, their treatment of Indian laborers and Phillipinos. They (especially their youth) disgusted me. Confiscation of passports, physical abuse, sexual abuse, imprisonment of women who fall pregnant out of wedlock along with wrongful and indefinite imprisonment of foreigners. An absolutely awful people. But hey, it's clean, safe and very fancy...

Very honest vlog. I agree to everything. No sugarcoating. No bias of opinion. Yes, Dubai is beautiful and I came from a third world country in asia & worked few years in Dubai. It's a two way blade. Dubai is attractive to live in in terms of its infrastructure & services. But nature wise and long term plans, there's not much in it. I just wish every expat who live in Dubai will contribute something big to their home country like create more jobs & stability so less and less expats of next generation will have to go to another country or be born there and never call it home. Try livin g in Los Angeles, San Francisco or New York. Dubai is way less expensive than a lot of other cities in the world. The lease contracts are annoying.
I've been to Dubai several times and will be going back in a few weeks. First, the weather is not a big deal. It all depends on where you are coming from that you are comparing Dubai to? i live in Los Angeles, and in L.A. 9 months a year it's identical to the weather in Dubai, and in June or July in L.A. it even gets hotter Dubai, so it's all relative. Yes, I've spent many months in Ukraine over the last 20 years and it's not fair to compare Ukraine to Dubai period. Second, if your like me, you want to see new and beautiful cities like Dubai, not some run down place with homeless people everywhere, like Bangkok. Thailand. Next up, prices. I've looked at prices for a one bedroom apartment in the marina district and it's cheaper in Dubai by a lot verses L.A. and the food in the Marina mall was way less expensive then anyplace in California. If you want to buy a property in Dubai (I've already checked) and again it's cheaper then where I live. Mass transit in Dubai parallel's the freeways which is the greatest idea since sliced bread. Unlike L.A. where there is no mass transit to speak of, and L.A. without a car is impossible to get around to to it's size and population. So as you can see, it depends on what city you are comparing to Dubai that makes a difference, not just Dubai is this or that. I've traveled to more then 40 countries and every state in the U.S. and Dubai so far is more beautiful then any city I've traveled to, period full stop. Also, if you've never traveled to the states, then you have no idea how hard Americans work and how many hours a day they spend working. Unlike Ukraine, Americans on average work about 9 or 10 hours a day. I work sometimes 12 or 14 hours, so again, you are comparing Ukraine to Dubai and some other countries as well. In France they work 32 hours a week and they get 8 weeks for vacation a year. That is a joke. Most countries are not like that, so yeah, working in Dubai might be a little harder then Ukraine but you are not comparing two similar cities or countries. And for the record, I've traveled to Odessa, Crimea, Kharkov, Kyiv, Sumy, and Dnipro in Ukraine, so i am very versed with your country.
No in France official working time is 35 hours per week. But you can work more after 35h each additional hour is paid with a 25% bonus on the hourly rate. 👏👏👏👌👍 Dubai is a amazing city. It's worth visiting it once. But the biggest regret is that when the Ruler/Government can spend so much money on buildings/infrastructure/personal wealth/ functions/events/beautifying it's cities then why can't they not spend on upliftment/improvement of living/working standards of workers/labourers who have worked so hard n sweat their energy to build these cities/concrete jungles.... When you visit any labour camp or industrial area of of Dubai or any Gulf city, the living conditions there of labourers/workers is inhumane n pathetic. What use is this extravaganza n concrete jungle when you don't care for people who have sweat their blood to build them. Their own citizens with no work are paid luxuriously while these people are deprived of their minimum wages... It's very saddening. They say" all that shine is not gold "...😟

I think spending that much of years in such countries, is not a good idea! I literally met people who spend their 10 to 30 years in gulf working hard and staying away from family! After all that they came back to their own country and started their life from bottom again! Ohh god! That's just I don't get!
People who work abroad must make businesses and invest in their country from the money they earn instead of spending all if it . Then after 10 or so years go back to their country to live on their investments . Unfortunately a lot of people do not do that here , they want to spend everything they earn 🙂 I have friends at work with low salary but already built their own home and have some sort of investment back in their country
I only know that dubai has tax free salary but I didn't know other things now I'm Changing my plan it's very costly to live in Dubai. And also very humid
It's not like it is portrayed in the media.... They have all the freedom.... Maybe for example u won't find a lot of pubs with genders mixed maybe... But it's definitely not like it is stereotyped
Something to add..they pay workers according to passport or nationality..they have heaven respect to white people but a bit different to asians or people of color..example British worker and Filipino worker same background, same education, same experience. Brit earn 10k dirhams and Filipino earn 4k dirhams per month.. i was there for 8 years and left Abu dhabi and Dubai last 2018..? I am happy where i am now. I dont like the idea they pay people according to nationaility..it is a form of discrimination
You you have a middle wage in Dubai try to live in Bur Dubai. Or Good house and back yard but expect wake more early to catch bus and train and rush hour. Or rent a car.

👏👏👏👌👍
Dubai is a amazing city.

Why did you stop making new videos? ♥️ 🇺🇦
I think spending that much of years in such countries, is not a good idea!
I literally met people who spend their 10 to 30 years in gulf working hard and staying away from family! After all that they came back to their own country and started their life from bottom again!
Ohh god! That's just I don't get!
It's just an experience of some people. I am staying here with my husband and I am happy
People who work abroad must make businesses and invest in their country from the money they earn instead of spending all if it . Then after 10 or so years go back to their country to live on their investments .
Unfortunately a lot of people do not do that here , they want to spend everything they earn 🙂
I have friends at work with low salary but already built their own home and have some sort of investment back in their country
Dubai is a very expensive place. No one can live there without a well paying job.
I only know that dubai has tax free salary but I didn't know other things now I'm Changing my plan it's very costly to live in Dubai. And also very humid
Can you comment on lifestyle and restrictions for young single European women?
It's not like it is portrayed in the media.... They have all the freedom....
Maybe for example u won't find a lot of pubs with genders mixed maybe... But it's definitely not like it is stereotyped
First time on your channel
I am from Dubai ya the weather is so hot 🥵
Exactly
it’s not 12 month summer, this is dishonest, Dubai climate is mild in winter to very warm, and humid in summer .
I hate hot weather 🥵
Abu Dhabi is much better than Dubai, better quality of life and better restaurants.
🤷 it's just personal opinion
