Do I have to remove the map sensor to spray valve cleaner in through the throttle body?

  • @massesbulet

So i am having p0140 the sensor placed Brand new twice i checked the harness the 2 white lines in harness no reading on multimeter , the positive and negative on the harness on key is on or acc its 9v is that normal or it has to be 12v i checked the fuses they are both good where else electrical i should check
The reason i replaced it at the first time because the previous owner put after market cat due to theft and downstream wire was touch the cat and got damaged and the car was running Rough i swapped the sensor everything normal and I had p420 so I tried to get rid of by using g spacer i don't have smog check and then I stared havi g p0139 and p0140 but now only p0140 no p0420
So when the wires got damged on the cat do you thing they got shorted and other fuses i have to check besides the o2 ones thank you

@@MaicSalazarDiagnostics THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE REPLY , I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT I NEED TO KNOW WHEN IT'S TIME TO REPLACE LET US SAY A PRE 2010 GM PRODUCT HOW TO KNOW I AM CHOOSING THE RIGHT PCM FOR INSTANCE THE VIN NUMBERS IS THERE A SPECIAL WAY OF MATCHING THEM UP AND DOES THIS WAY OF CHOOSING ALSO WORK WITH MOST MODULES . I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD LET ME KNOW THANKS SO MUCH .

8power0 well GM are probably the easiest before 2010 since a lot of them share the same module all is different is the programming and VIN, all you need to check is engine size. The best way is always trying to match the Computer number if using a used one. With new or reman they will ask you for VIN and so.
Domestics over all are easy and you can go to their site and look on for PCM replacement information.
European cars no!! Those are most only new needs very long programming, coding and immobilizer. Always have to match the Module number perfectly.

I see on your Autel has ADAS. have you ever done one. That job require alot room and monrey. The ADAS system cost like 25k atleast i just talked to a guy Autologic he said in future the ADAS will be like dynamic...

Dung Pham no I have not. Too big of an investment for a aftermarket shop. Many car lines. Dealers can do it. They service a bigger volume and usually a specific car line let say BMW just does their own.
