Dallas Auto...When you replaced the old sensor harness with the new harness (from the C2010 kit) you noted that the other end of the new harness had 3 wires, one wire being "blue" which goes to pin 61 on the computer's rear connector which you said was the shield ground. What is different from the old connector? That one had a "black" wire instead in pin 61 which I would assume was also the shield ground?? Was the new shield braid going around both the sensor interface wire ("red", pin 63)) and sensor ground (the other "black" wire, pin 62) on the original harness), or just the sensor interface wire (on pin 63)? After installing the new harness, when you started up the car and revved it up and it ran OK, had you already cleared the P1326 code, or did the "fix" clear the code automatically? If you cleared the code before starting the engine, the car probably would have ran OK on it's own, at least for awhile until the faulty condition was detected and set again. Did you follow-up later with the car's owner to see if the problem ever came back? I am asking this because my car has the exact same problem with only 40,800 miles on it, and Hyundai dealerships here in San Antonio tell me it could be months before they can even look at my car to troubleshoot and verify the problem. Does the knock sensor require replacement of the harness as well?
If you have just a bad sensor then just the sensor
Would this be the same on a 2012 Kia Sonata? Mine runs but has a prominent knock. I have heard everything from timing chain to lifters to rod bearings.
Do you mean Hyundai sonata or Kia Optima ?
@@DallasAutoDiag Sorry. Kia Sorento
@@davidpitcher3054 if it's a 2.4 engine, and a knock, you need to take to dealer asap, you're going to have engine failure.
More than likely if no oil in the crank case its rod bearings
Mi carro entró en modo emergencia pero antes me había marcado el código p01326 y ahora ya no arranca, que podría ser ?
sorry no spanish
Do you know if this harness works on the 2015 Sorento?
Not sure honestly
@@DallasAutoDiag I can confirm that the 91400-C2100QQH does work on the 2015 Sorento with the Bosch ECM.
I couldn't find the KIA part number locally without waiting days for it to arrive.
KIA part number; 91400-2T100QQK
I called another Hyundai dealer that's about 45 minutes away and they sold me one..👍👍
@Dealer Auction Nightmare good to know. Thanks for sharing the part number.
How much did you charge to install this part ? My 2013 Hyundai has same code and I’ll pay you to install it

Did the lady confirm it work
@@559PACO1 I replaced knock sensor like he said and my car is back to running good
I did it maybe 5k miles ago also and it’s still running great
Hai bro you knw the hyundai sonata 2017 sport cluster code
No, sorry
Where’s the pdf
You can Google the tsb number I showed at the beginning of the video
They don’t want to change my engine cause is salvage cae
They are correct
I was told same thing 😤
I called my closest dealer and he told me they won't sell this part because it is part of a recall campaign...😮😮😮😮😡😡
So take your car to be fixed for free. They just told you there is a recall going on.
@@DallasAutoDiag according to the KIA website it has no recalls for this problem.
2013 Hyundai Veloster with 1.6l engine have same problem, you think I can do that too replace those wires??
@Jorge Acosta depends on your skills and tools. The video shows the process to do it.
@@jorgeacosta5366 depending on your skill level it can be done. Here is some information that Hyundai put out; static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10211662-0001.pdf
This happened to me today earlier today. Tried to set up an appointment with the Hyundai dealership and can’t even get one for a few weeks.
Crazy that I’m in Fort Worth too. Haha
Sorry to hear that
The dealer in Plano told me it's months to get an appointment but if it's towed in, they'll get to it in about 10 days. Mine is headed over on a tow truck this afternoon,
My advice to friends and family with European or Korean cars. Don't keep them past warranty.
true
A bad knock sensor is picking up crank clatter-unlikely
That would cause the code also
@@DallasAutoDiag those 2.4 engines have crank oiling problems-speedcar 99 channel explains-just saw that Code and the engine clatters revved up at 126000
Donde tienes tú taller o algún número de teléfono si algien lo sabe podría dármelo por favor tengo el mismo problema con mi Hyundai Veloster 2016 gracias
They do a bearing test
Good to know Brian
if you have a good dealership around you , you can get a new engine with that signal code.
Thanks
The owner of the car should take it to Hyundai dealership to get the engine check for Engine Bearing Clearance Test done, because that’s a loud knock, that loud knocking maybe cause by bearing clearance problem.
The engine is healthy and doesn't have a knock in it.
I have to agree, just delete all the extra. ☮️&💙
Algún número de teléfono osi algien sabe la dirección de su taller
