I'm so impressed when peeps send plastic flying and don't even flinch. Meanwhile I'm over here acting like I just dodged a bullet. Cool build and thanks for sharing.
nice and relaxed painting. really makes it look like a fun and cool toy. Its really nice to see something cute. Many others create and paint going for a realistic look. Really love this different approach
Good Job, Aaron. Like you, I never know how much of a build to actually include in a video. As for painting, I generally find it useful if the narrative includes a bit about why you chose the colors you did, and even discussing technique, like drybrushing, or any tricks of your own. Peace!
Yippee look at you painting properly! VERY Orky! You don't understand how proud I am of you 😂 Sad to see my favourite pen has died though. Also if you want it to look duller but keep it's saturation I recommend a brown wash. Knew you'd make a texture palette.
Thanks dude. It was after I'd filmed and was putting the tank on my display shelf I spotted the bottle of brown wash that I'd pre made. Yes, I rolled my eyes into the back of my head😂🤣😂
Love it you got all the right steps just the wrong order.... Silver and copper Red stippling like you did Dark wash Note model will look a bit muddy at this point... Important now to stipple base red over the center of panels Stippling red brings the color saturation back Very subtle orange yellow on red near silver chipping Add greenish rust streaks on copper and a checker board or 2 and call it a day ...
Thank you. That pretty much sums me up with getting things wrong😂😂. I'll revisit and do another build painting in the right order this time... Thanks for dropping by, I appreciate it.
RockNinja paint brushes for the fine paintwork. Or cheap as chips brushes for weathering. Paints I either use Vallejo paint or Artiste acrylic paint which I find has a great coverage. Hope this helps. Keep Scratching that build
