I was shocked to find out I had a lot of glyphosate in my body! I eat clean….no grains….pasture raised meat/poultry….wild caught fish…but I was drinking California wines…and these are known to have glyphosate. I removed wine (except biodynamic from Italy) and did hot sauna treatments, and lowered glyphosate dramatically.

Thank you for this. I did not know they were desicating wheat with Round Up . That is horrible my Grandson is allergic to to wheat, eggs, dairy , most nuts and sesame. We were relying on oat milk for him as toddler. Then we found out they were desicating oats with Round Up! We complained to the company and they came out with organic within six months after our letter. The US does have no glysophate labeling for some foods. We don’t do that in Canada, so the only way to avoid the spraying is by buying organic. Thank you for this.

My Grandson get tingling in his mouth and stuffed ears when he accidentally eats a small( very small) amount of something . Eating more causes the throat and lungs to swell. We have twice had him at emergency . They give him oxygen and strong antihistamines. His caregiver found out she was allergic to wasp stings, by getting stung. She collapsed almost immediately. The ambulance came very quickly and was able to save her life. Two weeks later she was still feeling the strange swelling of body fluids swelling her arms and legs. Anaphylaxis is nothing to play around with. The body does a huge cytokine storm and floods tissues. The cytokine storm is what kills people in the second week of having Covid 19, if they don’t get good medical care. I have experienced him having a severe asthma attack. He literally can not breathe. The school thought a moldable play material( clay like) made with wheat was o.k. Around wheat allergy children. But then the play dough dries out and everything gets covered in wheat dust. I got called to school because he was having a severe allergic reaction. He has a puffer but it was not able to overcome the reaction. Stupidly I grabbed him and drove him to the hospital but then got caught in slow traffic. Very scary ! From now on, only calling ambulance in that situation. They have oxygen and injectable antihistamines. Parents with children with anaphylaxis sit outside of hospitals to give their child new foods.

What, of course they are lmao. They are GMO crops designed specifically for glycosphate.
It is chlormequat chloride that is banned in US farms. Glycosphate is still regularly used in American Ag.
By the way, 5/7 Americans have *high* amounts of chlormequat chloride in the urine, a known banned endocrine disruptor and anti fertility chemical.
Why? Because it is legal to use in Canada, and American cereal and other companies import oats and wheat from Canada still.

I'm a microbiologist and recently presented at a medical lab science convention on what glyphosate is doing to the gut microbiome of humans & livestock alike. What Joel said is 100% right on. If anything, it's worse than how he framed it, as not only are all beneficial bacteria highly sensitive (except lactobacillus, which is still moderately sensitive), but species that commonly become pathogenic have high resistance to glyphosate, and resistance mechanisms to it increases several pathogenic species' ability to resist certain antibiotics. Species like C. botulinum are highly resistant, and they are coincidentally seeing a rise in botulism in cattle. From what I have learned of the power of the gut microbiome, I am a big believer in dysbiosis being a significant trigger for many major disease states (including mental health) that just hasn't yet gotten the medical recognition it deserves. It is also not easy to correct once dysbiosis occurs, and your "gut profile" is passed on to the next generation.
Also, cotton is a big user of glyphosate, so we also get introduced to the residues through clothing... 🙂🙂🙂🙂

The Homesteading Family just had bw done and it came back with very high glyphosates in their bodies. They have their own water source (there's nobody above them to contaminate it) and are very intentional about raising their own meat and eating from their organic garden. If they aren't free from it, who is?

A book called” Toxin Tox out” tells the story of testing people for Glysophate, recording the levels, then having the family eat organic. The toxin levels dropped dramatically but not to zero. Microplastics make it all the way to the Arctic , where there is very limited human habitation. Everything is connected. There is no “ away” place.

No one is free from Glyphosate.
I recently heard a report that (on a global average) for every 4 breaths a person takes, 3 of them are tainted with Glyphosate.
I worked as a gardener, starting back in the 1980's. Fortunately, one of my colleagues of the time gave me some reports regarding chemical sprays.
It seemed that every one that has ever been created has, on average, been banned 20 years later. The reports listed each chemical spray and which type of cancer or other illness showed up in users.
I had a personal interest in this, since my grandfather died shortly after spraying farm fields in the 1950's. He literally choked to death a few weeks after the first symptoms appeared.
So, already very suspicious of sprays, I declined to use them whenever asked. Eventually, I was forced to undertake a chemical spraying course, raising the issue of my grandfather's demise in class - after the government sponsored tutor claimed that no one had ever died from using chemicals in the UK.
After listening to my counter-claim, he proceeded to make a 'joke' of my grandfather's death throughout the rest of the course (much to my anger and the embarrassment of the other students).
I'm glad he found it funny, because my father certainly didn't. He was only eleven when his dad fell sick, and was in the next room during his laboured death throes.
My workplace respected my refusal to use chemicals (I believe my charge hand reported the tutor's behaviour to our management).
After a few years, I'd left working there, gardening in other places before marrying and giving up work to homeschool my child.
By then, Glyphosate had become well established as a herbicide everywhere.
Some years later, I started to hear of the deaths of former colleagues, alarmed to learn of just how many had died while still reasonably young, normally perishing by age 50. In just one team of gardeners I worked with, half of them died before the age of 52.
This sort of thing never used to happen before!
Gardening is normally viewed as a healthy profession. Great all body exercise, fresh air, sunshine, building stamina, strength, tolerance and a great immunity to disease and infection.
Yet now we're dying off in far higher numbers than ever before. (Yes, there were illnesses from sprays before, but not like there are since the introduction of Glyphosate).
I've already had a brush with cancer, and scraped through luckily.
A year later, my husband, who worked as a horticultural engineer in the same gardens that I had once worked, had an even worse case of cancer.
      His odds weren't good.
We are certain that it was quick action prior to his operation and chemo that tipped the scales in his favour. We researched, changed some elements of his diet, spent a small fortune on supplements and herbs, and he spent a lot of time practicing hours of intensive meditation and breathing exercises - and survived.
Glyphosate is the modern monster. The more of us who turn away from cheap grain products, choosing organics and genuine grass-fed produce, the more we can reshape agriculture to exclude it.

One of my biggest concerns now, as a grower is a new agricultural scourge, a herbicide called Grazon. It is a herbicide being used on hay and grain crops and is being found to be very active downstream in manures, which are being used commercially to make compost. Many growers are now having trouble with germination, and general plant growth, when they use compost and or manures contaminated with Grazon. I am having a hard time sourcing any straw or manures that I need for mulching and or making my own compost.

I live in Florida in an equestrian neighborhood. I have horses on 6 acres here. I won't let anyone spray with roundup, although EVERYONE does all around us, and everywhere down here. We are overrun with weeds...natives and invasive alike. I weed every. Single. Day. but we are losing the battle. I have tried the natural formulations, salt, vinegar, etc. Barely effective and short lived.
I love Florida, but I fear its toxic.
Grazon is the only thing that kills creeping indigo, a poisonous invasive horse/cattle killer. I have not found it on my property, though neighbors have and did use Grazon to save their horse's lives.😢

Thank you for this information. I've known about Glyphosate being used as a desiccant but since I don't eat wheat or other grains I thought I was fairly safe. I also had no idea about the shikimate pathways and the enzyme that makes vitamin D bio available. This is a game changer. I have struggled to get my vitamin D levels up to 50. I've been stuck in the high 30's despite supplementation of 5k units a day for several years. I watched videos on Vitamin D and why one's levels might be low despite supplementation and this information was not in those videos.
Glyphosate was first used in 1974. I was 12 going through puberty in 1974. Maybe most of the problems I've had or developed could be traced back to the green revolution of the 70's. When our meat was full of hormones and our grains covered in glyphosate.
The fact that glyphosate kills melatonin and seratonin is more shocking information. I supplement with GABA, D3 and melatonin. I've had trouble sleeping for almost 20 years now and doctors thought it was perimenopause. They tell me my anxiety is from my past trauma. Well maybe It's none of those reasons. Maybe it's just glyphosate drenched food. Thank goodness for the carnivore diet. I'm eating as much grass fed ruminant meat as I can. I've got to start doing sauna and trying to detox some of this pesticide. Losing fat stores is going to help as well. Our bodies do not betray us. They try to protect us by storing toxins in fat!

    Here's a ChatGPT summary:
    - Glyphosate is odorless and tasteless, and there is a lack of testing for its presence.
    - The speaker distrusts the industry and suggests the possibility of fake labs declaring safety.
    - Glyphosate's use has led to dead soil and the destruction of microbiomes.
    - Humans are not designed to eat green-growing grass; ruminants are, and humans should consume their meat and milk.
    - Plant-based and vegan diets are considered a disaster by the speaker because humans are omnivores designed to eat ruminant meat.
    - Ruminant meat and fat are low in deuterium, which is beneficial for humans.
    - The speaker criticizes the push against meat consumption.
    - Glyphosate is highly present in crops like corn, wheat, oats, and barley.
    - Monsanto, now owned by Bayer, continues to produce Roundup, which contains glyphosate.
    - The speaker advocates for educating children about these issues through popular culture and making science fun.
    - Vitamin D is crucial for health, and the speaker recommends supplementing it along with magnesium for children.
    - High vitamin D levels can prevent diseases like Crohn's and reduce orthodontic fees.
    - Glyphosate interferes with the activation of vitamin D by destroying the enzyme that hydroxylates it.
    - Glyphosate is an imposter for the amino acid glycine, disrupting protein folding.
    - The Shikimate enzyme pathway, which is essential for producing compounds like melatonin and serotonin, is destroyed by glyphosate.
    - The speaker's goal is to make science interesting and cool for the next generation.
    - Main message: The widespread use of glyphosate is causing environmental and health problems, and there is a need to educate the younger generation about these issues through engaging and fun methods, while also emphasizing the importance of vitamin D and the dangers of glyphosate interference with its activation.
