We went to Santorini last year, stayed for a week on the island itself. Completely agree about the donkeys, I actually got so upset I cried 😖

Oh, we absolutely loved it! We stayed in one of towns out of the way so it was beautiful and quiet. And we went boujee and got an apartment with a little pool overlooking the Caldera. It was so lovely x
Santorini is probably one of the most touristy out of all the islands the tiny islands are just outstanding, so authentic and beautiful. I recommend just island hopping from piraeus. Great video though

We went to Santorini a few years ago and I cried when I saw the donkeys I felt so sorry for them. Granted I was pregnant and very emotional but I’m still not keen on it, it’s not something I’d do either, poor things xx

Hey Jess - great vlog!! I did a cruise around Greece too with Celebrity. The shops open late when the ship is on 'international waters' that way they don't have to pay taxes/duties to the country. I'm guessing the shops opened up about an hour or so after gangway went up!! This virgin voyage looks great

My sister and I just came back to Australia from the exact same cruise. It was amazing. We climbed the steps in Fira instead of taking the cable car as the queues were so long boy did we regret it..we nearly died in the heat. Agree with you about the donkeys think it’s barbaric this day and age and out dated. We saw donkeys without riders struggling in the heat and trying to find shade. We were on the cruise from June 2-9 .. can’t wait for part 2
It’s incredible isn’t it!! I saw a few tik toks from people trying to climb the steps and falling a lot! Something needs to be done about the donkeys because like you say it’s barbaric!

It’s horrible isn’t it!! Virgin advised people not to use the donkeys due to poor animal welfare but I couldn’t believe how many people still were!!

Thank you! Yeah it wasn’t the best experience but not much they could have done about it I guess! Sorry you also had a bad experience with them! They do seem to have an abnormal amount of issues in that airport!

Ahh so you would have already seen the itinerary then! They do the Greek island glow route a few times a year along with many other routes all over the world ☺️ we were thinking of booking one that starts in Miami!

We did Mykonos and Santorini a few years back and Mykonos was nicer in my opinion

100% would recommend it was incredible!! (And I’m not just saying that) we want to book another one ourselves! There’s a lot of restaurants on board, they don’t specify a dress code but the actual restaurants were nicer than the galley which people were wearing swimwear in

Hi Jess i absolutely adore Greece even married a Greek waiter from Corfu but we boycot Santorini because of the Donkeys 🫏 it would just destroy me to witness the cruelty, Greece is behind on its animal welfare im afraid like a lot of countries 💔 you and Emanuel look so happy together ❤️ enjoy x

I love cruises so much so much easier I’ve been on p&o three times now or two and a fred Olsen one the Fred Olsen ones are smaller cruises aimed at older people like 60+ and p&o is your basic cheap family one which is fine so much less chaotic the one I went on which was an inflight one was amazing if the planes late the ship will wait and once you get on the luggage is taken to your room security is better on cruises going on and off x
So you'd only recommend for a certain age group?
I would say that although they are adults only, it gives ‘party vibes’ as it were rather than what I’ve heard about other cruise lines being directed more towards the ‘older’ generation. I’d say the average age was between 25 and 50 on board! Depends what you’re looking for really!

I think you should have said in the title if was gifted/ ad. If you skip the intro then you wouldn’t have known, plus in description there’s a lot of codes but no mention of gifted/ ad, so it’s not clear if it’s an ad or just helpful information…
The video is listed as an AD through the upload process on RUclips so also showcases across the screen that it contains a promotion at the beginning of the video, as well as me saying it verbally. The part in the description that I put on all my videos that says '*Some links in the description may be affiliate or promotion*' also covers this. Therefore it is clearly stated in three separate ways. I've followed ASA guidelines regarding disclosure, unfortunately if you chose to skip the parts of the video which include this then I can't help that.
