very easy to install, drill the holes alittle smaller and use a lexan body reamer to make holes big enough for the light to fit. I set the module to the right of the mechanics. a.co/d/56TFhn
sorry the link didn't work, just seach 'rc helicopter navigation lights' on Amazon, many brands but all the same thing. gotta love China manufacturing.
@@vanderheijden1 during the day you can see them if they point right at you but not like evening bright. the lights don't work off a signal, but if you can power down the channel from the tx it will work.
How's she holding up? Just got mine today- would like to add nav lights but don't want to start pulling internals apart.
@@kylekranz38 pretty well, don't even have to pull any thing apart, just plug in to a spare channel.
Very fine ! is that easy to put in the helicopter ? Do you have the link to buy the kit please ? 😀

Looks great! How did you power them?
I pulled power from the i-bus sens port on the receiver. hard to get to but easy before assembly.
any free port will do, the receiver provides the appropriate voltage, lights same as a servo voltage.
Thanks so much! I was told not to power from the receiver, but I've done it in the past with RC cars @@krox83
@@krox83 So you can also turn the lighting on and off with a switch? And is the lighting still reasonably visible in daylight?
