being an instructor, you already, & subconsciously know the little things left out. If a newbie used this in an emergency to get off a mountain, hed never leave the ground is all Im saying. granted LOTS of good info, just not complete.

I have piloted fixed wing in real world. I have also piloted a Bell 206 simulator. The instructor always had the “engine “ at max governed RPM when I stepped into the sim. I read the manual about startup and shutdown, but I never had to perform those operations. That saved time in the sim for flying, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have also been a passenger in real world in a 206. It was quite fascinating and educational. Thanks for your video. I’m an old man now. Living vicariously has its advantages.

@@ticenits1926 no its to make sure the rigging adjustments in the flight controls matches the control inputs. One mechanic made a fatal mistake when he adjusted the elevator cable to the extreme end and the elevators were adjusted in the up elevator region. The pilot never asked the copilot to check the elevator or other surfaces for full deflection in the up and down level. The aircraft ended up pitching up, then stalling into a turn spin and crashed outside a hanger and killed many people aboard.

Honestly, I never came across to such a detailed tutorial video with full patience.
If I have to explain anything I do same way , believing person before you want to know everything.
    Great work, thanks.
Isn't this Bell 206 almost same as huey ?
On one comment section, one person told me " I never had to wait to keep engine starting motor switch pushing untill the TOT drops from 900 degree to 150 degrees"
I as I noticed how you did here , thaught you keep running starting motor with idole throttle until TOT falls to green again, otherwise abort the start ?
    Ain't I right?

Lol….that is VERY informative! Always wondered what took so long before takeoff and, after landing! A complex piece of machinery with a set series of actions to make it fly SAFELY.
