Cool thrifting story for everyone. I'm at a Savers a few weeks ago. Second time in a savers ever. I was in the remotes and AC adaptors section. All of sudden a middled age immigrant handed me a PS3 game controller new in its box. He wanted me to check it on my phone. Checked great sell through rate and ROI. i handed it back to him. He refused to take it, and said i can have it. It was very humbling. Started my store January 1st. The game controller sold in 36 hrs. for 74.84. purchased price 5.99. Thanks for the info Jride. Good luck everyone!
With board games there are just a few dozen ones to know that are $50+. It's worth spending a few hours researching and few minutes looking. In the last two weeks I found a $75 version of Mousetrap, a $80 version of Trivial Pursuit, a $80 Electronic Mall Madness, a $60 Phonics Game, a $40 Masterpiece, and a NIOB Deluxe Scrabble that I already sold for $80. Mostly look for certain pre-2000s Milton Bradley, Parker Brothers, and Avalon Hill.
LOL I like how you said "I like hair appliances like curling irons and flat irons...." I gotta see someone using a flat iron on their hair. 😅 I love your videos! Such good useful advice. You are also very professional. Thank you.
Aww, the Young Living owl diffuser. Just found out that the light on my grandson's has gotten really dim. I'll have to keep my eyes open for one. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
I've now subscribed to this channel and the other one. I just started reselling as a hobby and the thrill of the hunt is cool. Looking forward to garage sale season. I was able to hit one last weekend and I bought a pair of Oakley Two Face sunglasses for 50 cents and I sold them today FRAMES ONLY for $25. Thanks for that idea. Great content
Some vintage board games and anniversary ones can be worth $$. If it's a shop close to home I take photo at store and research them at home in bed... if one is good I'll go back to get it and hope its still there LOL. just can't sit in a store that long doing it
I love your channel. Lots of good info here. I sell larger items on Facebook marketplace. Pet crates & pet stairs sell practically the day I post them. Baby swings and bassinets do well also. In 2 weeks, I'm signing up to sell smaller items on ebay. I'm a little nervous but as they say, "Feel the fear and do it anyway."
I hope you have a swift recovery. Enjoyed the thrift as always. I'm in Houston, plenty of yard sales resales, etc, here. Thanks as always for the tips. I will bolo . Take care
Okay, because of you I picked up a catchers mitt at GW today. Any video on Jride Flips made about cleaning and/or prepping gloves for resale? What about key words?
Good luck on the surgery man and hopefully you can get back at it soon! Board games are almost never worth more than a glance at my thrift stores but I picked up a good one last week called Farm Management. It should get me ~$200. Mostly I just look for Pokemon Monopoly and ouija boards haha
Thanks for your videos. What is your quickest way to look up things? My eBay camera will look up a barcode but not a photo. Then I’ll use Google camera. Would like to know the easiest way to look things up when I’m in a store or sale.
Good luck on surgery and talking from experience…follow dr’s advice on healing and recovery or you will be right back in the OR with hernia surgery #2….no heavy lifting!
Ok I'm confused. You said on tiktok, not to buy vacuums because and I quote " there is a reason that they are in a thrift store " most are broke. But yet you acted like if you didn't have so many you would have bought them. So which is it? I'm confused. Love the videos
Don’t listen to me a TikTok lol. All of that is engagement bait to get views and therefore money. Go to TikTok to be entertained, RUclips to be educated
@JridePicks false information is so entertaining. Brain rot from Chinese Spyware is so entertaining. Chasing a few dollars making shit videos is so noble. Admitting to being a loser! That's new!
If you are successful and everyone knows what to buy then there will be no more good stuff on the shelves ...........I saw you miss a couple of great items .....I am not telling cause I need to find them and sell them myself ..........................so I can eat .

Weird, I listed that exact receiver today!
You have some amazingly awesome and clean and organized stores, all we have are dirty goodwill with junk and nothing interesting in Delaware

What did they have on the gold Sony boombox (CFD-xxx, I think) around 22:40? If it worked, it’s prob $50-$60 + shipping.
Do you clean the vacuums and their parts and if so do you have a video?
10:09 That Ultimate Chopper can sell for some money when parted out, I picked one of them up recently and sold just the blade for $30 the next day.
Yeah I just sold one complete for 50 plus shipping
Saw you sold the KAT card after he dropped 60 last night!
What’s your opinion/ knowledge on power tools? The flea markets I go to always have a ton of used tools that I’ve seen sell for alot
I don’t look for any items I just look for sell through rate so yeah they’re mostly a buy!
how do you ship these large items????
I’d love To. iSight your shop for 33rpm records. That’s my weakness. 👀❤
Good luck on surgery and talking from experience…follow dr’s advice on healing and recovery or you will be right back in the OR with hernia surgery #2….no heavy lifting!
The audio at the very end (33:00) is silent so there may be a glitch in the video workflow
Do you ever sell tennis Racquets?
They’re slower sellers but I’ve sold a few
