I have a future video suggestion. When thrifting it seems to take me a long time to search items to find the sell through rate on the ebay app. Could you show your app in a video as you go through a small stack of CDs or some electronics like remotes, so we can see how you seem to do it so quickly and easily? I really must be doing this the hard way. Thanks for your videos!
Eric Carlton, that's funny. Eric Clapton is on target. Can't help myself, worked in a Record Store 25 years ago. I recognized the cover instantly. Great picks. Nah, you're talking to the cds 😆🤣
Location is everything. I spent about 10 hours doing research on baseball bats and golf clubs - watching RUclips thrifting/reselling videos - and several months hitting up nearly 20 different thrift shops in a 130-mile radius. The results? Zero. Every single bat, every single golf club, for nearly 3 months in all those stores. Not a single item worth reselling. Some items are just no-goes in your area.
You may have answered this but I couldn't find the video. How do you or do you clean your discs? Awesome your dad opened a store. My daughter and my granddaughter have gotten involved with my ebay store, so exciting
I went thrifting after watching a video or two of yours. Found $250 in an old book just cuz I walked over to the CD section. Never made it to the CDs after that.
Love your helpful videos. I do have a request…instead of saying “I got this for $and it sell for $$” Please tell us what it is! If you’re picking up something…tell us what it is. Thanks!
I actually love selling Wrangler retro! But i usually pick it up NWT, it doesn't sell that high so I'm not sure if I would get it used except maybe at the bins.
HEY! From GiGi Lexington - I can't believe my husband Mike found a Jack Lelane Juicer yesterday - Please tell us how to part this item out THANK YIU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL VIDEOS !!
Skipped over the Talking Heads CD? I admire your patience to scan all those, many, many CDs youre up against thousands of listings at $4 free ship. Gotta be a little bit of a music nerd to really know whats worth searching for.
Every Deserets I go to throughout Northern utah are always adding items to the floor throughout the day. Or else their employees would have nothing to do.
I completely understand the awkwardness of “talking to yourself” in public. I still struggle with that on picking videos. Nice cd finds! I’ve been doing really good with CDs lately!!
So many people are walking around talking on the phone through mikes or other devices. I don’t think anyone even notices anymore when people are seemingly talking to themselves 🤣
I been watching you for a while lately I'm learning a lot ,I've got my list ready I just need to get out sourcing more .i always wanted to go to Utah its safe and peaceful like you said and people are nice 🤑
Moat of the CDs I find that are profitable are ones I have NEVER heard of. Thrash metal and some religious ones are good. A lot of mainstream well known ones aren't as good
I am a big fan and love your teachings on how to sell. But by your own admission, the stuff you find are at thrift stores in well off areas. In short, this is not the kind of stuff the average thrift store carries. I live in Syracuse NY, a middle class area and all the thrift stores within 25 miles do not carry or ever even have “steals” like you find. I don’t just mean this video but all your haul videos. I should start making videos of trips to middle class areas and let people see what you should expect to find. Stuff that may eventually sell but very little in the area of high turn over rate.
Bats have item numbers on them. Look up the bat #, then filter results to only show sold listings. The number of items for sale divided by the # sold in the last 90 days equals the sell through rate.
My 6 year old knows to look on the feet of the my little pony and she will NOT get a fake 😂😂😂😂😂 she actually knows without looking at the foot to be honest 😅
certain sections like CDs and sunglasses you should probably cut and restart then show your finds because watching you scroll through rows of CDs just isn't top end video content.
That’s a tough one because a lot of people tell me they really like to “look with me” and really enjoy those longer segments. I’ll keep you opinion in mind thank you
@@JridePicksYes, I enjoyed watching you look thru the cd's. In fact, I think I'm a bit jealous, lol, since you found some really good ones. I've been surprised to find cassettes selling for me occasionally; sold one a couple days ago for $10. Vocalist was Fiona Apple, whom I'd never heard of.
I found a pair of JNCO jeans in Provo a couple of weeks ago for $6 and sold them for $190 plus shipping. Pretty sweet!

There’s a photo to search feature on the eBay app. That’s how I look up products quickly.

6:50 mark there’s a toy sword on the second rack from the top. Could’ve been a Power Ranger sword. Sword is black, green gem inside of a gold hexagon.

Ever thought about clipping your go pro on a chest bag? I’ve seen other resellers do that, so u can have both hands
When it comes to toys, two easy to spot doll types are Bratz and Monster high. It's worth it to learn what they look like
Jellycat is one of the plush brands that you should be looking for.
Appreciate the shoutout, brother. It's nice to see your thought process in action while you're sourcing. Good stuff, man.

I hope you open them and make sure they are not all scratched up.
I was thinking the same thing.
Found a small leather Tumi planner for $2, took about 2 months to sell for $34. As you said, folks still like regular planners.
Thanks to you I remembered the box of remotes I bought from Rockstar a few months ago. I've sold a lot of them already. So easy to list!

What packaging do you use to ship CD's? Is it media mail?

Eric Church CD (10:20) is one of the biggest names in country music $8-10 on eBay depending on condition.
Do you check the cd's to make sure they're not scratched? Is there a good way to clean them?

@@kristirose2289 No doubt!! I think I just get stuck in my own head, but I’m slowly breaking out!! 😂
Yeah one thing about media you can't go by what you like.. you have to scan everything and you'll be surprised.
Do you sell the cds with cracked and scratched cases, as is?
6:07 hard to tell from the video but behind the aroma bear looks like that may have been an American Girl doll
Those are always worth looking up
What do you use to look things up?

Awesome videos. What is your store name on eBay and Poshmark ?
found a broken telescope at the bins today then remembered your trick of taking only the valuable parts thanks for the tip rock on
Are these new and sealed or used CDs for $1
Hey Jake, I just got a package returned to me because of a insufficient address. Any tips on how I can handle this?
That Pokemon Binder Is Worth A lil Somthing
I was surprised to see you pick up CDs with just a couple dollars in profit?

The only toys I've ever had consistent luck with was Build a Bear. 😊
Found you a couple weeks ago I really enjoy your videos and what you find.
Glad you’re enjoying the channel! More videos coming!
@@JridePicks Do you take the lens out of the glasses... Sorry to bump in.
Eric Carlton 😂😂
youre missing out on $$ passing those remotes
You just checked out the bat. How did you find out there was only 1 sold? Did you check it in a special way. Thanks.
