Goodwill is a retail giant. Goodwill is not a thrift store.

The prices you pay at your thrift stores are insane. Here on the East Coast, those prices would be three and four times what you're paying.

You say that calculator will “sell instantly” for $40 plus shipping yet it’s still on your eBay store listed (not sold) for $35 or best offer

I’ve sold like 7 in the last month across multiple platforms between $35-$45

@@JridePicks Just like with that Onkyo remote you say you sold the same one a few weeks ago for $15 plus shipping. Yet when you look on your eBay store you had it listed for $11.99 and accepted an offer of 10. I could go on and on lol. No idea why you always feel the need to exaggerate the prices you get for stuff.

Same here, I've had a TI 84 plus listed at 35 bucks for a few months with no views. I have sold these very quickly in the past, but this one for some reason is sitting. Also, keep in mind that his RUclips following likely has an impact on his selling success.

I’ve become far too comfortable selling clothing which moves slow and generally not for much. You are definitely motivating me to go out of my comfort zone. Thanks

I regularly look for gold and silver at yard sales and thrift stores. Just picked up a 14K necklace the other day. Bring a small magnifier (to view markings) and a magnet to test with (gold/silver aren't magnetic). You can also ask thrift stores if they have someone who goes through their jewelry before putting it on the shelf. If they don't you can filter the gold/silver, help them out, and make good money.

For future reference, parting out robot vacuum parts typically brings back some money especially the charging base which can be easy to test. Very similar to what you already do with Dyson vacuums.

Come on man! As a thrifter, you should know "Scream"/Ghost Face stuff is huge. I literally laughed out loud when you got Baxter's (from TMNT) name right, immediately after.
Scream is also a classic. Just saying. I enjoy your channel though!

great video, again. I have a question about the ink, how old is too old? I found some of the large ink cartridges that go in an office print but they expired back in 2010 so I passed.

Unfortunately my Deseret Industries is not the greatest (Oregon). They price electronics and tools at a minimum of $15-20, I’m talking VCRs, printers, etc. $40 for an old craftsman drill with a battery/charger. Health/beauty section, hair irons are priced at $8-12 each. They never have cameras yet you casually pick up like five at yours in a single stop lol. Sports/outdoor section is non-existent, just severely outdated gear, this just might be because of the location unfortunately.
They never have sales because they “price things fairly” as they say. As greedy as goodwill is even they have color tag sales and senior discounts lol.

I normally wouldn't give this tip but come to the thrift store here in Brookings Oregon. They do 8-12 price range on vcr and vcr dvd combo players, cameras 4 bucks, remote control 1-4 bucks, generally low price on electronics. I found a Logitech remote control for 4 bucks open box like new. Last couple days picked up an ipod for 5 works it's really cool. It came with a portable speaker charger. Also a magnavox vcr dvd combo player works great. Goodwill is decent for here if you find a good deal with the colored sticker discount. I picked up a mx universal remote control similar to the Logitech. Payed up a little 15 but it works so it was worth it. I go to garage sales and estate sales here to. I just started doing this 😊

@@Branden-vl9sl it’s about 6 hour drive from here so you’re safe from me lol but I appreciate the tip for sure. We’re planning on doing a thrift trip all the way from Portland to Medford, maybe we’ll make a detour to go there. Looks so beautiful, it would be our first time there.

@@OhmegadJT First time well it is beautiful we have a nice park called Azalea park. There's Harris beach it's nice. There's good beach a few miles north of here to. I need to get out more and see more of Oregon. I haven't been to most of Oregon. I lived in Cottage Grove and Cresswell as a kid that's it. Only been through Portland on the Greyhound bus and to Roseburg. I want to go to the bins in Medford never experienced that yet. Digging through those things seems fun. I know someone who was able to quit their job doing this. They find a lot of nice shoes at bins. Anyways nice chatting you
