This is my diagnosis story. It was my third child and I spent 6 weeks on hospital bed rest to deliver my baby safely. However, I’ve been in and out of remission for the last five years. It’s so great to have other people who know what you are going through!

I've had it for at least 12 years. Having FSGS doesn't keep me from doing anything I want to do. I still travel, exercise, chase my kids around. It's a little overwhelming at first, and some of the meds you'll try aren't fun, but life can still be what you want it to be. Good luck!

Ethan Simonson Im on prednisone for 5 months at the moment!! 40mgs right now and 30mgs next week, slowly going down. Im only 16 so this is like really scary for me haha but I know I'll be okay!! Hope youre doing good and thank you! 💘

@@bdrulx9380 Hi! So i've been off prednisone for a year now. Ive gained 50 pounds from it and i'm struggling to get it off even now. I currently take a blood pressure medicine and a cholesterol medicine. My kidneys haven't shown any more damage than it had when we first discovered it. I go to my nephrologist every 2 months now where I do bloodwork/urinalysis. So far things are going smooth I just have to work hard at losing weight so my kidneys don't have to be overworked! Thanks for checking in!
