I was diagnosed in 2015. Did dialysis from 2018-2022. St. Patrick's day 2022 I was blessed with a new kidney. My one-year kidney-versary is in a couple of weeks and I feel amazing! Only by God's grace am I able to type this. Stay strong and grow your faith. It changed everything for me.

Thats great but your god did nothing. The donor and doctors did all the work while your god let you get mortally sick.

My wife was diagnosed with this disease in November of 2016. Then in June of 2021 , she couldn't walk because her legs were hurting so bad that she said it felt like both legs were on fire. And these nasty ulcers began to appear. Because of this disease, she had developed calciphylaxis. She past away at the age of 39 on August 3rd. I miss her so much. Please take care of your bodies people. We were together for 21 years, and I'd give anything to have her back.

Sorry to hear that man. I was diagnosed with this since i was a kid but my parent neglected to tell me since my dad had it in a milder form. Fast forward to summer 2020 and my legs are swelling and I don't know why. Went in for a full check up to get diagnosed with tbms (thin basement membrane syndrome) and then my mom goes "oh yeah, let me dig up your old medical records". Anyways, my grandfather died last Thursday for unrelated reasons, and it just made me stop and think about my own life and how it's quality has veen declining recently. Didn't even finish mourning and i'm feeling like I'm 45 at age 27. Kidneys are a hell of a drug kids, keep em healthy.

I’m 25 years old I was diagnosed last year September of 2021 and it’s tough because I don’t know what to expect still be in doing great I’ve lost all the Edema in my legs and I can walk good now and my weight has went down from 230 to 185 my normal weight is 170 . I hope I can reverse this somehow because I wanna live long for my 11 month old to watch her grow and I wanna have a large family with my girlfriend who I will make my wife . I hope that I can make it without dialysis and without a kidney transplant . I’m in us army rescues , they are not showing in simply I still have to report to training . This will all change soon hopefully if I stay on this diet and the pills my nephrologist prescribed to me

Honestly I’m tired. I was diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome at the age of 14 treated it for 9 years. I got better and didn’t use drugs for bout 3 years then I relapsed last year november since then I’ve been going to the hospital back and forth. I did another biopsy 3 weeks ago and my doctor told me last week that I’ve got FSGS. (Primary cause)
Honestly I’m just tired. In my head I’m just counting down till the worse happens.
    It’s like eventually…

Ive been gained weight while i really need to lose some.
Do you know what foods you can and cannot have? My doctor only said something about salt but she never properly explained everything so im still confused about my diet.
