  • Here is arguably the top player in the nation, Josh Jackson's official junior season mixtape.. The 6'6" Detroit native is ranked as the number one player in the 2016 class by Rivals and 24/7 sports. We can argue about his ranking all day long but one thing we cannot argue about is the potential and ceiling that Josh possesses. We are excited to see what the future holds for the start player of Prolific Prep.

      +xyprodigyxy his jumper needs some tuning but he's definitely capable of knocking down mid range jumpers that's enough to convince me he has the gift to shoot unlike Simmons

    Got to watch him when he was at Detroit Consortium, and he was so damn smooth that you could see how much more skilled he was when compared to his competition (and even teammates for that matter). Now, he just looks more athletic than everyone on the court. It makes you excited to see what he can do as he adds more strength and size to his frame.

    Home slice is nice wit it. From what I understand he is not 6'6 anymore. Now between 6'7 to 6'8. Looks like he will grow to be 6'8 or so. He has the coordination and tools and the heart for the game. At his height he can do a lot so I look for him to be one and done. Everything will depend on his work ethic in terms of NBA stardom. I think he can definitely do it. Hasn't even played senior season of high school yet. Much respect to the young soldier representing Detroit.

    Josh Jackson is more than basketball talented--Josh is GIFTED! Such timing and hang-time! Josh "thinks the game," and many do not have the wherewithal to do this. Josh's greatest asset though is his HONESTY. When he speaks, you believe him. Now this is a real rarity in today's world of spin, gimmicks, and deception. Love Josh Jackson!

    • @jsmakal61

      +jnthemyst Deyonta probably won't declare for the draft until next year, needs more weight and muscle for nba

    • @jnthemyst
      @jnthemyst 8 лет назад +1

      He does, but lots of one and dones leave before they're physically ready. He's projected mid first round so he might consider it, though if I had to bet I'd agree that he'll be back. Duke, UK and mich st will be top 3 next year, it depends on wh comes back for each who'll be the best.

    • @jsmakal61
      @jsmakal61 8 лет назад +1

      +jnthemyst right, I'm saying they're losing Valentine and Costello, hoping Deyonta stays and they get Josh Jackson. They'll be great, scary starting lineup with a deep bench again. I think they'ed be the best team for the whole 40 minutes

    • @jnthemyst
      @jnthemyst 8 лет назад

      Yeah, I'm hoping one of Ulis/Briscoe comes back for UK. I really wanted Bridges but we ended up with a good class regardless. Is Jackson leaning toward mich st? I've heard them mentioned and Kansas and Maryland too. I hope you guys beat louisville tonight.

    Haha love the throwback shorts.. this kid will def continue to evolve and hopefully make it big, just gotta become an Elite Defender... we see soo many killer high school mix tapes off phenomenal offensive players, but one thing that separates the show from those who impact a game, are those who take Defense seriously.. the NBA already has dunkers and scoring by the shit load

  • @sorrymento8217

      ***** you right ***** I know what youre talking about, athleticism is genetic, and it does give you a slight advantage, but here's how i'll put it. These natural athletes, those genes are locked, and until they train and work hard, that athleticism stays locked until they unlock it. You need to develop yourself to be a freak athelte, VERY FEW situations emerge where someone does little to no work for it

    See this is the shit that always throws me off about some of these dudes that are supposed to be all-world and shit. Wikipedia lists his birthday at February of 1997. That means he already turned 18 as a junior? You shouldn't be any more than 17 as a junior. No wonder he is dominating. He's older than everybody! And i have noticed that about a lot of high school basketball players. Same with Shabazz Muhammed a couple years back. Dude turned 20 as a freshman at UCLA! Seriously!

      sincitydude31 one of the best ways for kids to get scholarships is to get held back a year, one of the biggest reasons Im playing baseball in college. It's a practical thing to do

    He may be good now, but a lot of people can do what he is doing in college/NBA. He can't rely on his athleticism to really be a good player
