He's got a nasty escape dribble. Saying he's an explosive leaper doesn't do him justice. He's beyond explosive and is as quick as just about any player his height that I've ever seen. He should be better than good one day. He's also a good defender.

Lebron, although a freak athlete, does not have a quickest first step, rather he has powerful strides that when he has a full head of steam, it's over. Similarly to James, Jackson does not blow by his opponent with his first step rather he needs a full head of steam. However, the main difference between the two is that even tho lebron does not possess the quickest first step, he's still able to get to the rim whenever he wants. I dont know if i see jackson doing the same even in college. i have yet to see any highlights of him with him CONSISTENTLY get all the way to the rim from the perimeter.
