So this trailer has almost 200,000 views but only 913 likes that’s less than 1/2 of 1%. Exactly who does Disney think is going to watch this, certainly not actual fans of Star Wars.
Let’s remember this takes place during the high republic era in which the Jedi were at the height of their power. 100 years before our skywalker saga. So well seasoned and properly trained Jedi are out n about.
I loved Andor and The Mandolorian (for the most part). Ashoka was my favourite character, so I billed the shop up too much in my mind. It had amazing parts, but needed more. I hope this one is good.

It is unbelievable that every species in the universe is essentially human, only the colors are different. Could we finally see alien species? Because this world is so boring that there are only people everywhere.

We don’t care what bloody sex the protagonists are.
We just want good Star Wars with epic lightsaber fights, cool looking bad guys, some fun space battles, a couple of comedy relief characters that are organically introduced and the Force.
Unfortunately, in the past 10 years, we have been supplied a steady stream of sub par content with not much of all that good stuff in there. So people focus on what’s different, being the idea of “Woke” agenda and remakes with rather silly casting choices so it all gets lumped together.
It isn’t hate on women characters, it’s hate on shit writing and sub par characters.
And the fact that we are all old people now. Us kids who grew up with Star Wars are all in our 40s and are becoming grumpy about it 😂

Not sure if you recall everything that went down, so I'll share the exact message: Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek recently confirmed that Kennedy would keep her post as Lucasfilm President for the foreseeable future, so while Disney might not be turning its back on her overall, it certainly seems that they are leaning more and more in the direction of giving creative control of the Star Wars franchise to what is working - in this case Favreau and Filoni’s characters - and leaving Kennedy’s brand of Star Wars behind.
