Please just be truthful! There is no way to accurately assess if the show is stupid or not after watching a 4.35 minute trailer of upcoming series. The truth is that you cannot handle the diversity and female leads. The honest truth is that Disney is way ahead of the curve by the diversifying its IP’s. The world is no longer centered around one particular demographic especially in entertainment and other industries! Disney understands that across the board movies that feature women and minorities tend to earn better than movies that do not feature them. This trend will continue to grow exponentially as we draw near to 2045 as the dominant demographic will become a minority. 🤔🧐

I’m very upset about it because of a lot of reasons Disney never listen to their fans they don’t know how to put practical things like you don’t hold a sword backwards in the middle of a fight it is not even useful combat move it is a suicidal move no trained or untrained swordsman/woman would ever dare to be that moronic further to the acolyte fans have been longing to see the berth of the force before the the Jedi and the sith back when George was making his second movie I was writing letters to him wanting to see where do they come from when did this begin and the same story with Disney but again I’m disappointed because not only did Disney fail to bring the fans what they want these actors are unfortunately untrained to act like this is really happening the force has not even been revealed in battle with someone in battle they will use all of what is in them to survive they are not going to a tea party they are frightened full of adrenaline and supposed to be very well trained for what they’re facing

I would like to see the series and make my decisions. So, far Disney hasn't been on the up and up when it come Star Wars. So, I can understand the concerns the ACTUAL Stars Wars fans are having as I am one of them. The more Disney tries to steer us down the rabbit hole the less desirable outcomes are present. I have actually switched over to Star Trek and trying to understand their culture as their space is always changing. Star Trek does a better job at adapting new ideas with their franchise than Disney has with Star Wars because Star Trek will market shows to their original fan base and add extra shows or series to capture other audience who never acquainted themselves with their franchise. Disney should try to emulate the same.
Nothing wrong with the trailer. Everyone I know is looking forward to it and watching it. And let me say if there's dozens of people who don't see a political agenda, then it's just your own perception, and being angry won't change it, it just means you have nothing to enjoy. Then just don't watch. Spewing hate into the world is not making the world a better place. Honestly, if it's so ideological and politically correct or whatever, why is not obvious to everyone? I just see people and Jedi fighting and it's exciting. Nothing to hate on about this at all.

I watched the first 2 episodes of Star Wars Acolyte. Boy, does it suck. It has poor writing, and wooden acting. Basically the director sucks. The fighting is lame, and amounts to one person side stepping everything like Pai Mei in Kill Bill. They do that for more than one fight scene. Dodges a fast knife strike that they can't see, but gets hit by a foreseeable slow kick. Some really bad decisions that we there just to advance the plot. It also tries to be smarter than it is. There was a CGI alien that laughs, but its so strobe light like, that is was laughable. Like they forgot you need to add motion blur to make it seem real, or they refused to render every other frame to save on costs. Some of the acting is something you would see in a elementary school play, with widely over-exaggeration to clobber the view on the head with what is suppose to be going on. It easily replaces The Book of Boba Fett as the worst Star Wars miniseries. At least Boba Fett had a lot of good scenes sprinkled in with the bad. Acolyte is just hot garbage from top to bottom. Carrie-Anne Moss was shown a bit in the ads, even though she dies in the first 5 minutes. As we are watching it, I said, "If this is some evil twin crap going on, I'm going to lose my mind at how lazy this is." Sure enough, it has an evil twin. The only thing I will give it credit for, was not trying to use that evil twin crap as some kind of crazy plot twist later in the series, they just put it out there quickly.
I just started reading the high republic comics which I enjoy. If the series are true to the comics o won't have a problem with it

We just want a great story and show that doesn't push sexual or political crap onto us. There's a lot of comments on how bad the fight scenes, acting and story line is as well.
