Its just an attempt from your "want to be edgy" psyche to hate on everything. Several of these movies look entertaining. If you have too large of a silver spoon up your ass to enjoy entertaining movies then that's a you problem and I feel sorry for your cynical ass. Just because a movie is not going to win 7 academy awards doesn't mean it wont be entertaining. Go out and enjoy!

Yes and No. The movies were rubbish (apart from Rogue One) and some of the dialogue on the series content is poor, but so was George Lucas's. I think Andor was great, really enjoyed first couple of seasons of Madorlorian and loved Ahsoka (that truly got me back into the Star Wars lore again, and was unfairly criticised by many), some of Rebels etc is good too. The bad parts would have also been bad if Lucas hadn't sold it and we get more content now which is good. The problem is, it's Disney, so you always feel it's going to be a bit mushy at times.

since i was a kid all trailers have had this same soundtrack with the intense drums. makes it hard to appreciate any trailers now since its been done this way a zillion times already

Quiet Place _might_ be alright but I don't think I'll watch any of the rest even if it's on streaming. Movies just aren't the draw they used to be.

I really enjoyed it but has some of the same problems as Star Wars: far too much consideration put into chracters' intersectional identiies. The straight white males need to be mostly bullies and cowards, and the twist heroes/villains are obvious from episode 1 because of their respective race and genders. I think they'd make a great (in isolation) SW show, but in the current context, it would bomb for the same reasons as the Acolyte.

Well, I am interested to see the next season of "The Boys". I was less than thrilled to see Russell Crow in a shit Exorcist movie. Especially since I was old enough to see the original in the theater and, while everyone else was screaming, I was laughing my ass off. I haven't to this day seen lines that funny, although they thought they were scary... I don't know, I have never seen a supposed scary movie that wasn't actually a comedy. My brother and I turned The Exorcist into The Rocky Horror Picture Show....
