Buying stocks might seem easy, but picking the right one without a solid plan is tough. I've been trying to grow my $100K portfolio, but the tricky part is not having clear plans for when to buy and sell. Any tips on this would really help.

Molly, love all the vlogs you have posted here. It's so fun to watch and you nicely mingle local vibrant lives, scenes, cool stuff to do with real estate properties, making it appealing, not pushy. Thank you for bringing Atlanta city to out of state viewers close and personal. I am planning for my retirement and looking for a city to do so. Your videos made me decide to come to Atlanta this Labor Day for an extended tour/vacation, taking some time to explore around different city neighborhoods. Hope to get in touch with you and let you help me to find an ideal place 😊

Hi NewYorker! Your comment just made my day/week/month! I truly appreciate it. These videos are certainly work but my goal is to give viewers a vibe of the area and see if they can connect with the area and know what to expect (of course, seeing it in person is always better but hopefully this is the next best option!). I hope you enjoy your visit to Atlanta and certainly if you have questions and decide to relocate here, don't hesitate to reach out. :)

I just can't wrap my head around paying several hundreds of thousands of dollars for what is essentially an apt and then having to pay $1400-2200 mthy for HOA fee! So glad I own my own home with NO HOA fee!

There are def positives and negatives of a condo unit. The Clairmont Place condos, for example, does include meals, utilities, cleaning service and you basically never having to deal with any sort of home maintenance which is a benefit. I'd love to pay a flat fee to have all that taken care of for me.

I've lived in Atlanta since my birth a long time ago. You don't retire to Atlanta. Expensive. Traffic. Roads are terrible here. Crumbling infrastructure supporting new buildings. No passable options for public transit. It's not Texas, but everything is spread way out. Wherever you want to go is an hour away. Your next door neighbor you can touch with your hand out your window...it's an hour away.

I know not everyone wants to retire here but I have worked with several folks who are retired and want to live in the city for various reasons (be close to kids, for example) so this was intended for those that want/need to live in the city. There are some great retirement communities outside the city (which I briefly mentioned in this vid)

@@AllAboutLivingInAtlanta I was also wondering about the prices of condos, especially older condos. From my experience in Canada the quality of new condos is poor compared to older ones, but might just be targftinhtrhe youngest demographic rather than the rest of us.

    • @AllAboutLivingInAtlanta

@@dovygoodguy1296 I guess it depends on what you consider old. Atlanta doesn't have a lot of new condo buildings. They built a ton in 2005-2008. The pricing really just depends on location. Buckhead actually has slightly bigger condos than Midtown but probably has older condo buildings (built anywhere between the 70's-90's). Even old condo buildings in Buckhead can be pricey if they are in a good location. But obv the more updated they are, the more they will cost. It honestly depends on the size of the condo, how much it's updated, and location that will determine the price of a condo.
