Amy mentioned she’s anemic to the point of requiring regular infusions (blood or iron infusions- wasn’t clear). The copper IUD tends to increase bleeding and flow, especially the first 6 months to a year after insertion, so it would worsen her anemia. I had the copper IUD for 3.5 years. I have two sleeves and a bunch of piercing so I know I can handle pain, BUTTTTTT the iud insertion was the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life!!! The biggest reason why I know Sarah Ann and Jeramy are lying about having sexual relations that night is he told his mom that he dropped Sarah Ann off at her house and then they talked and he left. She said to AD that they didn’t talk he didn’t come in and he just left after dropping her off at her house. It’s the scrambling for an explanation for me. And the explanations don’t even match!

If Jeremy didn’t like Laura, if he thought she was too much (and let's be honest, she is A LOT), he should have broken up with her THEN moved on. If he really wanted to be with Sara Ann, they could have even pulled a Zack and Bliss thing and brought her back for the rest of the show (not that these two are in any way comparable to the sweetness of Zack/Bliss, but still).
I just don't think he wanted to get married, period. But he also seems like he *desperately* cannot handle being alone. He ended an engagement and then immediately hopped onto Love is Blind. Got into a relationship with Laura, regreted it, then was planning an exit strategy to Sara Ann so he could run right over to her as soon as the cameras were off. Amy mentioned in her Instagram stories that they both talked about condoms but decided they didn’t feel like they were safe enough in their own (condoms are only about 85% effective).
It’s also likely she can’t get the copper wire because she mentioned earlier in the season that she gets regular iron infusions and the copper iud causes heavier bleeding.
Tbh this whole birth control convo taught me one thing: we need more for men. Cause it’s crazy that the only 2 options are condoms which aren’t so effective and vasectomies which carry a risk of being irreversible

Ok, again, no one seems to have noticed a moment around ep. 6 or 7 when Amy says that Johnny does not think condoms are enough. And according to Planned Parenthood they are 87% effective in real life, 98% in case of "perfect use every time".
But also - I don't know cause I have always been highly interested about seggsual health etc. but they don't seem to know much about contraceptive methods. Like, IUDs exist and it is a myth that only women who had given birth can use them. There are hormonal and non-hormonal ones. I've had mine for 4 years and I don't usually remember I have it, it's so good.

Amy posted a story last week explaining birth control thing better when it first came up on the show and everyone was dragging Johnny. This talk in episode 11 has more information but it leaving out Amy has a genetic condition and they are trying to discuss their options for both of them to do. I forget what she said Johnny's reasons were and it made sense when explained his concerns.

I think what happened with jeramey and laura is jeramey got checked out after laura started bringing him down QUICKLY at the honeymoon with the hawaiian shirts and his attitude and instead of being mature and voicing his opinions and saying that it's not ok he got afraid of her because she does have those walls up and at any inconvenience she comes at full force and did what he knew how to do to get out of a relationship, which is completely betray her. He doesn't know how to break things off in a real way. It's team laura but if laura wants to find a forever person, she need to take big risks in letting her walls come down a bit and being a bit more accepting of her surroundings so the man that's for her is able to come in because it's just not gonna happen with her current attitude unless she finds a man willing to be walked all over. Jeramey should've broke up with her but knowing what we know about him outside the show, he's a real POS and clearly doesn't know how to respect women
Clayton is SO *fake.* Why is he even here? He’s not a gentleman. He’s not affectionate. His body language is giving uninterested. He didn’t offer his fiancé his sweater when she was cold. His table manners give ‘raised-in-a-barn’. He didn’t bring AD’s mom any flowers (although AD gave flowers to *his* mom) and he seems to be forcing himself into wrapping his mind around marrying AD.
He keeps telling her, “I’m here for YOU.”, “I don’t want to let YOU down.”, “I want to give you what YOU want.” . . . But what do YOU want, Clayton???
Clay doesn’t want to adhere to the wedding timeline, he prioritizes looks (and I am not at all convinced AD is his type), he’s afraid he can’t be loyal, he’s afraid he can’t lead, he’s already spending the night away from home and, in his own words, he’s “frustrated” that AD has a problem with that . . . like, what’s *really* going on?
Even his repeated referencing of Proverbs 3:5 is problematic: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding . . . “. It’s giving ‘I don’t really want to be here; I’m only doing this because I think I’m supposed to.’
I didn’t see Clayton hug his mom. Maybe they just didn’t show it. But I feel like he has deep-seated issues with women. It seems to me like something happened or he had some sort of epiphany and he thinks he has to atone for something by forcing himself into “falling in love” and getting married. I don’t think his heart is in this at all. Clay was weird in the pods too. He seems to have some sort of ulterior motive that has nothing whatsoever to do with AD. I think he is undergoing some kind of internal warfare. It feels like he’s forcing himself to be someone he’s not.
Maybe he’s a closeted homosexual. Maybe he’s a self-absorbed low-down dirty dog and this is his way of reforming himself. Whatever it is, something is off and something is definitely afoot. 😂

Quick correction because you're Canadian; Amy is IN NO WAY AN IMMIGRANT and it's offensive and othering to call her that since being of Puerto Rican origin has been used in a racist way against Puerto Ricans in the past and currently. Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory that was violently colonized by Spain and then the U.S. and it is stolen, indigenous land. But everyone born there is a U.S. citizen who carry a U.S. passport. When they move to the mainland, contiguous U.S., they don't go through customs or passport control and it's a domestic flight for them.
So please stop calling us immigrants to the U.S. WE ARE NOT. We are just as much U.S. citizens as anyone born in any other U.S. state despite the colonialism. Calling us immigrants is stripping us of our status. Thanks and hope you were informed

@rity2556 NOT TRUE. If you are from certain territories, like Puerto Rico, you are not an immigrant to the U.S. because you are born a U.S. Citizen. Don't tell me my "immigrant status" when I was born a U.S. citizen with a U.S citizen birth certificate on the island of Puerto Rico and carry a U.S. Passport. When we moved to the mainland? We didn't go through passport control or customs. Nor do I ever have to go through them when I go to Puerto Rico to visit family.

I think Chelsea is incredibly insecure in general. But I can’t judge if she would have been different with Trevor (if he was genuine) because it’s clear Jimmy doesn’t love/is attracted to her despite what he says and therefore I feel her insecurity in the relationship is valid.

I feel like its so easy for everyone to sh*t on Sarah Ann for what she did. I thought her explanation was genuine, and also this is love is blind. It's not a real life relationship/engagement that she broke up - theyve only known each other for weeks!. Also everyone seemed to forget the lack of chemistry and poor relationship Jeramey and Laura once they met in real life. I think the way it happened what MESSSYY but I never thought Laura liked Jeramey anyways. She's more embarrassed that it happened to her more than anything.
