Nick and Vanessa were hypocrites lecturing Trevor about LIB being to seek love not clout. The only good relationship this season got less attention than couples that didn’t even get to the “I Do” part.
100% my partner and I have been together for nearly 9 years and people still look at us like we are the weirdos for still being madly in love with each other and not having any big fights. With the right person you can easily communicate with them even when you are disagreeing.
I love how they played jimmy and Jess’s last date, it was far from ten minutes and Jess to her credit was honest about everything.
RIGHT I was they gave this a bit more time. Jimmy RARELY takes accountability for his actions.

Wait what??? They "missed" an entire couple!!! They only spoke to Chelsea in regards of Trevor and to Jimmy in regards of Jessica... But the relationship of Jimmy and Chelsea itself wasn't even mentioned... neither how they are doing since the filming ended.
The didn’t get into how Chelsea gaslit jimmy like crazy. Not to mention her manipulative ways with crying and acting like he did something wrong every time she should apologize. They also didn’t dig into Kenneth enough. They still pissed me off 😂

Chelsea was a mess, but Jimmy was no saint. He absolutely played her, and I think a lot of her actions were unintentional and stemmed from how HE acted towards her. They were both completely unhinged. However, I think Jimmy knew what he was doing, and Chelsea’s actions were born from insecurity and his actions “off camera.” Neither was innocent nor a hero imo.

@@Lina_unchained to put in perspective, it can make more financial sense depending on where you live to have separate places. Also, it can be more beneficial in the relationship to not fight over chores or how to co-exist in the same space so early into a marriage without deeply knowing each other’s habits and not get on each other’s nerves. They did not have much time to truly know each other and Matt had A LOT of working through his past betrayal and trauma to be the husband Colleen deserved.

It breaks my heart that Clay’s dad still apparently doesn’t see the gravity of his actions on his son. The fact that he hasn’t yet apologised and had a deep chat about everything with his son after everything he saw is truly heartbreaking.

I think his compliment towards Bret was genuine. But he didn’t say a lot about what he could have done for AD and what he would do given the chance. I don’t know there was something really missing for a man who knows that he made a BIG mistake. I don’t trust that he didn’t know what he was going to say to AD!

He is very charming and charismatic and knows how to navigate these situations. I don’t think he is genuine about his feelings but tried to save his ass on TV after playing AD.
I feel like they went too easy on Chelsea. But maybe it was because she's already getting so much heat online. She literally instigated every blow out argument they had. And in one argument she was fishing for answers and dragging McKenzie in it, and saying Jess was at the bar. Like just straight up lying and Jimmy would call her out on it and she would deflect and throw out a whole new topic or accusation. Like she was soooo toxic she made Jimmy look like a Saint by comparison.

I definitely also think Chelsea was manipulative on the show, especially now that we know he told her about the friend while they were in the pods. So she met them knowing that and pretended everything was fine.
It bothered me the amount of people on the couch who said Chelsea essentially wasn’t wrong for bringing up what Jimmy told her in confidence.
But did Chelsea even say who it was aside from it being one of the girls? I'm open to changing my mind but right now I feel like Jimmy and his friend are overreacting.
But maybe Chelsea actually said her name or give identifiable info and the editors just cut it out, in which case I understand why Jimmy feels betrayed but not the mystery girl.

Idk the reunion didn’t fully do it for me. I think the first half was great but then they spent the rest of the time catching up with old cast members?? Jimmy and Chelsea had one question and it wasn’t even about their own relationship but more so the triangle and then Kenneth and Brittney had like one general question about his phone?? Like what happened with the breakup? What went wrong? What do they have going on now because something didn’t seem right with that whole “just friends” situation.
I feel like I was left wanting more but I do agree Nick and Vanessa are getting better and I also agree that they need to start doing two part reunions. With social media adding a lot of outside drama, there is way too much to unpack and they had the nerve of sharing this episode with old cast?? Nah

Am I the only one who wished they had called out Laura's hypocrisy about encouraging Jessica to go after an engaged man (Jimmy), but throwing every accusation she could come up with when it happened to her? Please, that is no girl's girl. She's an "out for myself" girl.
(And yes, I'm also thinking about how she told Jessica in the pods to "leave, that ain't your man" after Chelsea **confided in her** that Jimmy had told her he loved her. If she was really a girl's girl, (A) Laura wouldn't have immediately blurted out a secret another girl had told her, and (B) Laura would have told Jessica the whole truth, especially after Jessica outright asked her for context + details 3 times. NOT a girl's girl.)

When Chelsea literally called all her manipulative fights with jimmy as “hiccups” and questioning why jimmy “wanted to throw in the towel after a few hiccups because marriage is not easy ☹️” … truly felt like she was egging it off because at least they are still choosing to fight for their not-easy relationship and Chelsea self-sabotaged her relationship and jimmy refused to work it out … you could see how much that fight about the friend he slept with still bothered him at the reunion. Kind of felt like mean girl vibes.

And when they were breaking up and Jimmy's first reason was about that major argument when she basically said that she doesn't believe that Jimmy loves her, she was right to say it was a poor excuse. However, Jimmy did say that there were other reasons that led to his decision as well; he didn't add to it, but Chelsea would have blown up if he did!

Am i the only one who noticed the laughs and disbelief when Sara Ann was announced? OMFG I died! That woman was doing the most. I don't think she realizes how embarrassing it was. Love that both cast and audience were not having it

Honestly, I don't get the big deal about Sarah Ann. She fell in love with the guy. He broke up with her for someone else, she sent him a message and a few weeks later he came back to her. Why is she getting so much hate from people, it's crazy
@@regularity2556 It's not her message that's the bad thing, imo. I don't think it was that bad to reach out to him. And yes, they were there to find love. What was bad was their lack of accountability, delusion about who is in the wrong, lies, and low empathy for Laura. The jet-ski scene was horrible.
They both came across as self-centred and inconsiderate at the lake party. And the fact that Sarah Ann shifts blame, rather than introspect and try to do better. That's why they're both getting criticism for their actions.
I really didn't like Chelsey throughout this season. She loved playing the victim. Although Jimmy wasn't completely innocent throughout the season, he was the one that had to compromise the most.
We got a hint that Jimmy doesn't like Jeramy a few episodes back. At the pool party Jeramy sits down with Johnny and Jimmy and starts complaining that Laura has been cold since he cheated on her. Then, when Jeramy gets up to hug Trevor, Jimmy tells Johnny very quietly (only caught it thanks to subtitles) that he doesn't want to be a part of that conversation with Jeramy. Now I get why.
Though, I still think Jimmy's main reason for not wanting to be with Jessica is because the slightest push back from a woman makes him feel attacked. If anything the reunion proved it. Jessica was so calm and even imho spoke softly when she suggested a break. But he's saying she stormed out after 10 minutes? That man's emotions are so fucking fragile, omg. I understand he seems great next to Chelsey's explosive insecurities, but Jimmy reads like a man-child to me. I've got a lot of those in my immediate family and they are emotionally draining, avoidant and unwilling to take accountability for anything.
Kinda wish someone had asked Jeramy about emotional cheating and not just physical cheating but oh well. Neither Jeramy nor Sarah Ann seem able to be friends or even cordial with people.
Also, I'm really happy they brought up Sarah"s "we didn't miss with this one" etc. Her video made me mad lowkey. She says she doesn't care about the comments, but then made it sound like she was baiting ppl to get a reaction? Gross. 😤
I could not believe AD gave Matt a chance. I really hope she finds someone who treats her right, she deserves it.
I totally agree with you about Jimmy. People match up romantically for a reason and Jimmy and Chelsea are probably very similar in their emotional issues. Chelsea made up stories in her head about Jimmy and Jimmy made up how Jessica treated him lol.

Enough is enough, we’re trying to get real relationships out of this experiment, dating in real life is already hard enough. I think that is why they had previous couples come on to prove that authentic relationships have been created from the show. Do I want to see them do that again next season, NO. We got the point. What they could do however, is during the experiment maybe old couples could council newly engaged couples and give advice. Just an idea 🤷🏽♀️

So maybe after lol when they get engaged

i feel like the Trevor thing was worse than what Sarah Ann did.. I can understand where she went wrong to a degree but at the same time, the nature of the show is very quick and the beginning stages are similar to a trial run so while her message to Jeramey was inappropriate, it is also understandable in a way as well. Trevor, on the other hand had lied and schemed the moment he entered the pods. I feel like everyone was super harsh towards Sarah Ann, including Chelsea, but made sad faces when Trevor was giving his sob story and left...the double standards are real imo.

I've heard a pretty good point made on another channel that the couples from the previous episodes were there because of all the clout chasing alloegations this season to remind the audience that it's not only about the mess. With all that clips from the previous seasons, I think they were on point with that.
I'm stunned about Nick and Vanessa. They were surprisingly good this time. Nick sending Trevor back (who still was trying his "good boy" act) like a disappointed father was precious. The only things that they could ask is that part from Trevor's text when he said that he met another "pod guy" on his way there and they were agreeing that they won't get married. They also never asked Chelsea and Jimmy about their relationship status.
PS. Jessica and AD were awesome (in general and with Sarah Ann).
They spent so much time on that drama with Jess and Jimmy, and the Sarah Ann and Jeramey issue....

Sarah Ann was painted the villain of the season when many of the cast members displayed questionable behaviour. It felt hypocritical. Also I feel her statement with "it is entertainment" was taken out of context and was said in response to the cliff hanger at the end of the episode where the editing made it seem like the next episode would reveal that Jeramey and Sarah Ann actually did something beyond talk... hence the editing being entertainment. That's what Iiiiiiiiiiiii took from that video.
I understand wanting to promote Perfect Match, Izzy and Micah should not have been there. PERIODT!

It comes from her not being confident enough in herself. Jimmy can reassure her for sure by being a great supportive and loving boyfriend/husband but bottom line, she would still question everything he does because she's questioning her own capacity at keeping him happy or even interested in her.

Jimmy is very similar to Chelsea. With Jessica he recalls events incorrectly because he's so emotional about it then makes her the bad guy.
Because deep down he wanted her and she probably didn't want him after all. So now he's pissed off he got rejected.🤷♀️

RESPECTFULLY we only wanted season 6 reunion! They dropped the ball on Jimmy and Chelsea and KENNETH. They could’ve saved 10 min recap and muscle boy Trevor and Jessica and Jimmy 10 mins back and forth as well as the whole Jeramy and Laura Ann debacle. Always missing the point!

This took too long on the Sarah Ann, Laura & Jeramey situation imo. It was literally like the first 20mins aloneee! SMH if that’s how they intend to do it now at least they could make the reunion 2 hrs & not just 1hr 20mins.
It was about time the reunion came with the TEA! Stop sugarcoating stuff that happened on the show by asking irrelevant questions - get to the nitty gritty! This was by far the best reunion:
1. in terms of getting answers to some of the hard hitting questions. 2. Loved that they had an audience however they could’ve actually had the audience ask questions…🤷🏾♀️ but the other couples being there was dope
3. AD LOOKED GOODT!
4. I wish they would asked more questions about Brittany and Kenneth. They finally got A QUESTION lol but not enough in depth about their relationship.
But overall still way better than before.
5. I’m shocked they revealed that Chelsea was now a part of casting. I think bc the sleuths have been on it they can’t hide as much stuff as before. But also why Chelsea out of all of the previous cast members? I saw some of the OG OG’s side eyeing when when she said it like ‘wth’ - so I really am curious why Chelsea was chosen.
