I felt AD meant that she didn't want to be treated like his mom was treated by his dad. Im sorry, but i dont want to be like clays mom either. I'd rather be divorced with a short marriage than be cheated on and lied to for YEARS. These situations are complicated, to say the least, especially with children involved. Just to be clear, i mean no disrespect to anyone in these situations, i just wanted to share my opinion.
That's how I took it, as well. It wasn't a dig, it was the truth - spoken plainly. I can see why it would sting hearing it but I don't think it was said out of malice. Clay's mother is a beautiful woman with so much grace, I'm sure she will caution young women if she isn't already.
I honestly thought she meant she didn't want to end up having to mother him, the way many women end up mothering grown men/man-childesque individuals, to get them to "act right". I'm surprised they were offended at all
Honestly I think BOTH interpretations are fair and valid. It doesn't matter to me which way she meant it, those are FACTS. Being treated like a grown man's mother instead of his partner OR being habitually lied to and disrespected will have any sane person losing their grip on reality. I'm SO GLAD they didn't get married.
seriously, he seems to think it's something to be proud of, but it's really just sad that she felt the need to stay for so long. I think he might be basically preemptively telling women he dates "if my mom could stay in a cheating marriage, you can too!"
Exactly! He really clung to what ADs mom said about 24 years being an accomplishment but if I’m remembering right she said that before she found out about the cheating.
@@lumensapace Her Mom knew about the cheating. I think she was trying to make Clay feel better about his family, and he took it and ran with it like a badge of honor. When he said his father was a good Dad to him, I thought, no. Good Dads love their child's mother.
I don’t like how Clay keeps conveniently not mentioning how, even though his mom was married for 24 years, she was getting cheated on in the worst way during those years. That’s what A.D. does not want to be like. Who cares about being married if during that marriage, your partner is just completely unfaithful and bringing your child into the mess?
Precisely!! Make it make sense. I’m not applauding a lengthy-failed marriage. That’s not the goal to think ‘oh being married for this long was great to accumulate some years under my belt even tho I was getting cheated on & lied to’ and be okay with that.🥴
Clays mom had a husband that took his children on his cheating trips and now has a grown adult son traumatized by her marriage, I wouldn’t want to be like that either
"My mom was married for 24 years, that's an amazing accomplishment." Yeah but she was cheated on for, what, like 17 of those years? I understood it as AD didn't want that kind of marriage.
Right! He also didn't seem to view that as an accomplishment himself until AD'S mom said that ay their first meeting. He was acting like his mind was blown she said it's an accomplishment in itself and the stuff that is t isn't his.
Wasn't it AD'S mom who put that idea in his head? I seem to remember her saying that exact thing to Clay. He seriously just regurgitates the things he hears if he thinks it sounds good.
i don't care about Jackie she maligned Marshall and call him sensitive, now when she needed a sensitive man in her time of need, she got what she was looking for.
@@Sungoddessz and how great to not only mention that to the whole world but to continuing on and on about his mothers business. I thought that was selfish and rude of him to keep harping on that for sympathy. His mom did not want all that out there
Clay is completely delusional. Women are not saying they don't want to be Clay's mother because she is divorced, it's because she was cheated on for over 20 years. How is that an accomplishment? We all have sympathy for her but it's like Clay completely missed the memo. None of us are like "damn, that's so sad that she got divorced, I hope that's not me!" we're sad that she didn't divorce his daddy sooner.
Getting a divorce also isn't some great accomplishment. No one wants to get married just to get divorced. And the horrible marriage and divorce she had is a nightmare. No woman in their right mind would want that
@@perdybirdie General sentiments surrounding divorce and marriage are changing for all generations. Divorce is now being seen as an option for freedom to not stay in miserable relationship dynamics. We are also slowly doing away with the "2 parent household" structure as the standard as it lacks the valuable resource of a community/village.
@@perdybirdieWell you don’t get to choose everything in life. For many people, a divorce is just as much of an accomplishment. It shows how much you love yourself and sometimes even the other person to not only acknowledge that you’re not a good team, but to take the very mature step to end it. Nobody wants to suffer in marriage just as much as most people don’t want to get divorced. But life is the way it is, you go where it leads you.
@@MonetAllDay I agree! Struggle love is over. Everyone is a sovereign being, so they can (and have) exit out of relationships for any reason. Many folks need to come to terms with that reality.
He is not delusional. I think it is feigned ignorance. I think he is deliberately shifting the narrative in efforts to shield his mom. He gets it, besides, come on, it is not that difficult to understand. Sweet classy lady, his mom, but we can All agree that she deserved much Better!
I’m so glad you said what you said about Kenneth!!! You are the ONLY ofther person sense these rumors started to feel how I feel. It’s not our call to our someone. He could’ve just not wanted to be affectionate on camera, or maybe he actually just didn’t find her attractive. Being a black Principle in North Carolina is probably difficult enough, these gay rumors could end his career. And if he is gay, let him tell us. These shows love editing lies so Kenneth could be a completely different person than what we saw
Charlotte is a big city and like any other big city it’s progressive. I don’t think it would be a major issue, but *any* LGBT teacher anywhere would need to be concerned about at least one crazy parent.
AD is done with Clay and he doesn't like it. If you notice she hasn't said one bad thing about Clay however his family and friends are attempting to spread lies and rumors. She was blessed he said no . She even said in the interview she wanted someone a little more soft towards her. Which means more kind. He doesn't know how to treat a woman he has never had one. Plus his dad had no respect for his mother. If you notice AD hasn't answered at all to any of friends or family's allegations. She has been just quite living her life. She understood the assignment Clay had no clue and was/is confused.
I could never see AD as the Boss Babe she said she was. She felt a bit desperate to marry a man.... ANY man. FFS, she dated Matthew after the show. Girl needs some work too before she gets married.
Wow this is the comment I've been looking for... Fully agreed AD and Clay are train wrecks to date at the Moment but honestly at least Clay to some extent. Owns up to it by acknowledging he needs to work on himself
Many, many, MANY "Boss Babes" are susceptible to being fools for love; and even more have found themselves caught out and hurt by their partners - sometimes when all the red flags were there, other times completely out of the blue.
But are you missing out that AD said she broke up with the club owner but he still thought he had a chance of we just ignoring to bash her . She said they had been broken up months and she still worked there because it was a job and it was paying her bills. Does someone buying you things in the past make you their lifelong partner ? People act like kept women can’t move on and be cordial with their ex . Clay is saying AD was focused on being a wife and building their connection instead of working , isn’t that proof that she was ready and willing to do the work and get married or ???
No, I’m with you, Queen E. When I watched the reunion, I also thought AD was saying “I don’t want to mother you” when she said “I don’t want to be your mother.”
A sugar baby can absolutely be ready for marriage if the man is very well off financially so that is not the same as Clay not emotionally and mentally ready and available
AD nor Clay were ready for this process. I saw that very early on when they were in the pods. I feel they both went on this show for some social media currency.
About Clay not checking his friend in the comments: there’s a strong chance that his friend’s comments are Clay’s own comments y proxy…when you silently let the friend go off, that almost equals a co-sign lol
Clay used his friends to say all the things he cannot say directly. He is trying so hard to be this “good guy”. He sold us this story of AD being the love of his life so he can’t talk too bad about her. This is all a PR stunt. 😅
This made me have so much compassion for AD and gratitude that she didn't marry Clay. He made it clear that his dad cheated on his mom for years and even took him on trips during which he cheated. AD saying she didn't want to end up like her previous fiancé's mom doesn't reflect on the mom's character at all; it represents how AD desires to be treated in a marriage and is a beyond fair and healthy statement.
AD said she had money saved up and made sure she was financially set. She's also listed as a realtor. That ex boyfriend seems in denial. Clay and friends seems like petty jerks; which tracks from what was shown on the show
i agree with you that AD was misunderstood. she doesnt wt to live the life his mother had to. thats no insult. that was real. also he said during the season how much hes growing from being with her. how abt some reciprocity, clay? she cannot be your mother and still have sex with you
Sugar babies are literally always ready to be married lol. Clay said himself in the interview that she dedicated all her time to being a wife. If im AD and was dedicated to the process why wouldn't i use that 6 weeks to completely dedicate myself to trying to be a wife. Especially if my finances weren't an issue. Though i understand Clay was more interested in a business partner in his wife which is his prerogative.
Also the AD story sounds more like someone dating a club owner who is 42 and won’t “settle down” so he pays for things but also hooks up with other women. I know someone who basically did the same thing in LA lol model - bottle girl - real estate / dating owner But Clay also gives the vibes of “all women are trying to get my money “
@gabriellem6252 people think they know how it is but they dont. Just bc some man is giving you money and expensive gifts still doesnt mean they're actively fucking. For people in Clay's position ive seen its more of an ego thing or assumptions about what is going on. i know full-out sugar babies who found a man who stepped up and are happily married now. Some women prefer being taken care of even if they can get their own coin.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one wo didn't get why people think someone being a sugar baby (assuming AD was at that time) means they're not ready for marriage. Arguably sugar babies prepare themselves to occupy a traditional gender role in a traditional hetero marriage lol (assuming that's what they want)
I’m confused…how do you explain being a sugar baby to kids? What happens if she gets pregnant. This comes down to building a future with someone not just day to day. I wouldn’t be comfortable with it either.
I also understood AD's comment being that she didn't want to mother Clay. I had to go back and rewatch that part of the reunion. Here's the lead up to the comment: - They had just come off a conversation where Clay was talking about the growth he's done in the year since filming, going to therapy, etc. so that he can be ready for marriage. - Nick asks AD how she felt watching the conversation between Clay's parents - AD says the conversation gave her pieces of a missing puzzle in understanding what Clay was battling with. That she couldn't have done anything more to help him. "And I didn't wanna, respectfully, be Clay's mom in the long run." Idk, to me it could be either way? I don't think it's meant as an insult, though. Because Clay's mom had to tell her 60 yo ex husband(!) not to make excuses and do right by Clay. I mean, they have been *divorced* for years and she still has to be the one to guide his behaviour because it's affecting their adult children! It sucks, and nobody should have to do this, but clearly she cares a lot about her kids and wants them to lead happy lives even if it means having to deal with her cheater ex and spoon feed him adulting purée.
I think we can all agree 😭 we’re over the clay & a.d business .. only person that genuinely hurt from this process is clay’s mom 😣 her business shouldn’t have been put out there like that.
re clay’s statement abt being attracted to AD’s hustle, her money-making chops. sad that he viewed her one dimensionally and could not value her bec over a 6wk period she wasnt making bank. i get real controlling vibes from him, like, “i’m going to make sure you fet bk into the gym.”
Any woman would be doing herself a disservice by being with him. Just because he's attractive with a good job doesn't mean he's a good man. More black women need to realize that
I’m just glad you give AD and Clay the same heat. Neither were ready for marriage. Plus how can we expect pure motives from people who were CASTED, barely anyone signs up anymore
I agree with your sentiments about AD. Neither her or Clay were ready for the show or both had intentions of getting clout from the show to amplify their finances/ lives.
27:02 Why Clay say his mom only spoke highly of AD...on camera 👀 And why is he ridin for his mom now but he the one put her business on front street in the 1st place
I wish everyone could realise that everyone is nuanced! They have great things about them and awful things about them. Whoever chooses sides like ‘yaaass AD’ or ‘wow AD is pathetic’ like can you just chill? Everyone sucks in their own way and these people on reality shows are just that-people
I’m basically done with LIB. As Cameron brought out it is all drama. They are casting for the mess not for legit relationships. I skipped season 5 and came back for season 6. Now I think I’m done.
Same! I couldn't finish season three because of how badly Cole was gaslit and abused. I was almost done then. But season 4 was great- I loved Zach and Bliss- so I hung in. Five was COMPLETELY irredeemable, and this season was just AWFUL. The producers need to understand that there need to be at least a COUPLE interesting and likable people on the show!!!
Horrible that Jackie lost her parents. That aside, though, not at all shocked Josh behaved that way and I don’t feel bad for her losing that relationship. She was disrespectful on the show, Josh made it clear he was a jerk and exactly the type of guy that would make you cut people off (crazy that she went along with it too!). But you get what you get when you act the way she did 🤷♀️
So it’s a crime for someone’s BF to be rich now🤦🏽♀️ Ain’t nothing wrong in dating a rich guy. Because someone is rich doesn’t make him a sugar daddy. So many people date and marry rich guys, so I’m not sure why this is different.
I’ve never heard that idiom before- “tattoo tears”. What’s it mean? All I can find on Google is the symbolic meaning of the prison tats lol Edit: disregard my comment. Lol. I misread “years” as “tears”
The ladies from season 5 said they "steer" ppl toward dates with certain ppl even if you havent "matched" with anyone yet. It was an interview on Jessie Woo's youtube channel
I got 3 kids and not enough time to follow all of this stuff but I LOVE IT lol!! I always appreciate you updating us on the IMPORTANT tea and I appreciate your balanced opinion and the research you do on the gossip before sharing things. It’s fair and respectful to the participants. You rock girl and thanks again!!
AD’s comment was more so addressed to Clay’s Dad. The fact that Clay can’t separate his own values from his dad’s shortcomings is what she meant by I don’t want to end up like your mom. Being cheated on throughout the long run and giving so much of herself.
@@TheQueenE I think AD's place was nicer as she didn't really seem impressed., when she was visiting his place. Hence the jealousy from Clay when it comes to AD's finances. He knew he couldn't match up...
@@samanthastanley2614Interesting. She actually seemed super impressed to me. Like I could see the dollar signs in her eyes when he gave her the tour lol 🤑
She absolutely did not mean it like that…. This marriage wasn’t successful not only because of the divorce but the fact that he cheated on her the whole time took her son on trips with him when he cheated on her and her son waited 3040 something years to say something on national television that he should’ve told her years ago that she probably already knew…throw the Whole season away
I’m so sick and tired of people saying Kenneth is gay because he wasn’t affectionate with Brittany. Why do men always get labeled as gay when they may not be attracted to a particular woman. His cousin probably said he was rainbow to get more likes. Stop believing everything on social media. I agree with your perspective on AD.
Clay irks me cuz this whole time he kept saying I don’t want a relationship like my parents to the point he felt he was gonna cheat now when she says I don’t wanna be like ur mom in the cheating aspect or having my kid lie for they dad now she the problem smh. If ad had a sugar daddy b4 the show as long as she kept it a buck with clay then she’s not that wrong & he did say well she did tell me about him. They both was not rdy for marriage but it’s sad that he left her at the alter but he wanna make it seem like she the bad guy but ad new that man was not ready to be someone husband
I interpreted the comment from AD to clay about his mom differently than he did. I don’t think she was referring to the situation between his mother and his father that led to the divorce, I think she was saying that she doesn’t want to take a maternal role in his life where she feels like she has to be his mother and baby him and teach him and explain things to him. So many women in marriages become the surrogate “mother” for their partners and I think that’s what she was trying to express.
First Jackie chose Josh. She had a thoughtful partner and she still went ahead with Josh anyways. Sorry for her loss. I cant imagine losing a parent. 2nd I get that Kenneth being a Principal at a school in the bible belt and his ties to the church he would not want to come out. I get it. People need to protect themselves first and foremost. We shouldnt be on a hunt to out people. The show is over now. Also the cousin revealed that info, so he must be out to a select few in his family, just not out to the world. I wish him the best either way. Britney is a real one, cause the way she was 'defending' him in that podcast was a bit heavy handed, but I get it. Shes his Grace to his Will.
I think AD & Clay just needed better communication period. Clay clearly doesn't want a 'house wife' but AD wants to be that. Also on Keith, I dunno why pple made the leap on his sexuality & wanted to speak on it. I just thought he wasn't attracted & that's also okay lol
I thought A.D was saying she didn't wanna be like his momma but in the sense that his mom married an unserious man who took their marriage for a joke. Which was fact, respectfully. It had little to do with who his mom is and more what her marriage was. But she did say yes, so I don't know why she made that comment at all.
She made that comment to explain why she doesn’t want to get back with him… as in she knows better now (hopefully). She could’ve easily ended up like his mom if Clay had said yes tho. But now that she has the chance to escape it she wouldn’t go back.
I don’t believe for a second that Clay’s mom was upset about what AD said about not wanting to be like her. She knows what AD meant. Why would she be angry that a young woman like AD doesn’t want to put up with being cheated on for 24 years? Clay is really good at trying to spin things so he can look like the victim. But vilifying AD is only making him look like even more of a buster. I don’t believe the sugar daddy rumors either. Go sit down somewhere and be quiet, Clayton. 🤐
Been saying it for weeks but AD needs HEALING. She wasn't ready for this show purely based on the fact that SHE said she does not feel deserving of love. She admitted she has daddy issues and they have had an impact on how she deals with men.
And if she does have a sugar baby, it says a lot. Anyone who knows about that lifestyle knows its a proxy to prostitution, and you have to have a different mindset to be able to do it. And for her to be doing it at age 30+ shows she's emotionally immature. Most sugar babies leave the game around 26 and grow into real relationships
I 1000% took as 1. I don’t want to be your mom 2. I’m not going to be getting cheated on for 20 something years. That’s what I took from it. Loved this video!!
the hotter joke about AD's comment is that it was AD & HER MOM that told Clay to look at 24 as an "achievement.." so it's ok when it serves ur purpose, but not ok in retrospect?? lol
If you watch the full podcast that AD did, she actually addressed this bs about clay acting like she doesn’t work 😒 She was doing so well with her jobs and in her savings, that she SET ASIDE time for love is blind because she knew it was a short process and she really wanted to make it work. She said clay just didn’t really understand how she could have so much time but she just planned better 😂 this sugar baby bullshit is ridiculous! She had TWO jobs! She worked remotely for one of them and stepped back from working at the night club because her ex owned it!
I could see this. Realtors make lump sums of money for each sale, and they live in a metro area where the homes are selling! I’m paying my realtor over 10K for less than one month’s work on her end and she’s selling multiple houses at one time! It’s not hard to believe AD put some money aside to take a lil break
When you were reading about that lawsuit I swear there was a moment you weren’t speaking English 😭😭😭 at that point I was nodding in support of you having to read that mess 😂😭
Ok so AD dated the guy before going on LIB but they weren't together during... What is the accusation here? That she once dated someone who took care of her financially? Clay is on a tour to smear AD's name and it seems many people are falling for it... maybe because Clay's narrative supports the bias they already hold against AD... I wonder 🤔
Clay is trying to break the cycle of trauma in his family. I’m not sure why everyone keeps going against his decision. May have went about it in a weird way, but unlike others, he’s trying to be better.
Clay spent the whole series complaining about his dad's cheating and his parents divorce, saying how he didn't want that situation for himself so what is he talking about🤨
@18:30 No, I just think she was seeking to marry up. Once she realized that wasn't going to be possible bc LIB only casts dusties & bums on the male side, she went back to what she's used to. No shame in that, love that for her. Clay didn't seem to have an issue w it & said he was very aware about her ex. The friend just sounds jealous.
They are trying to silent Renee with that ridiculous million plus dollar lawsuit. Why are there so many unstable people on these shows? It is reckless of LIB and shows of that ilk to not do extensive background & psychological exams on participants...I hate that every black man who goes on a reality show is accused by many to be gay. It is disrespectful & reckless! People have been calling him gay online since the honeymoon. And they speculated about Clay being gay too. I have seen this done to 90% of black males on reality love show.
Queen E saying all the right things, bc I was trying to figure out how it was a dig at Clays mom when Clay himself was fighting his daddy’s demons on the show. HE DIDNT EVEN WANT A MARRIAGE LIKE HIS PARENTS. So him and his mom need to be fr, and AD need to be fr bc she wanted to be him momma so bad she’s the one who said yes.😂 I’m over them!!😂
Now touche on that last point. At that moment, AD was really trying to take on the burden of being Clay's lover, mother, and secretary - working every day of the week.
I totally took it as clay saying she didn’t want to mother Clay (or any grown man)…especially if she has been a kept woman before. 😅😅 Also, yeah, just being married 23 years is not an accomplishment on its own. If you are married 22 of those years happy and there was NO cheating and it just fell apart in that last year or your grew apart as people then yeah, sucks divorce happens but it does. Relationship didn’t work out. But we KNOW that wasn’t the case with Clay’s parents. He cheated on her frequently and took his kid along!!! AD might have been looking for a permanent sugar daddy through marriage, lol. But basically with AD and Clay….this is not the black love representation we were looking for.
I think AD’s comment about not wanting to be Clay’s mom is definitely a double entendre. Who knows which what she actually meant. But I took it the way you did, in that she didn’t want to baby him and constantly hold his hand with being a married man.
I feel like with how close Kenneth and Brittany are she wouldn’t just air him out? I’m wondering if he wanted her to say something that way he wouldn’t have to address it.
I just hope people don’t hate AD so much that they automatically put Clay on a pedestal. Clay learned from the best how to finesse women. AD got on my nerves ignoring his flags. He seemed like he was playing a character. Like “conflicted man, who will be single at the end of the season” this gets him more women because they’ll want to fix him 🙄 I see through his game and it’s well played 👏🏾😄 I feel they both wanted clout in the end. They both need therapy. AD didn’t mean it in offense to not be his Mom. I’m 42 and that’s a saying meaning I don’t want to Mother you or be cheated on. HE is the one that constantly said your Dad cheated so no woman should want that situation. He likes to sound more mature now but he needs to grow up.
Netflix, Kinetic, and Delirium may have won the battle (forcing Ms. Poche into arbitration), but I hope that she is not deterred in seeking restitution. Every thing about their maneuvers, while legal, only draws more suspicion to me regarding production's disinterest in protecting their cast. Sounds like she has a compelling case if she can withstand the extensive, costly legal proceedings that are probably in her future. That being said: Kinsella Holley (Delirium's law firm) is a powerhouse entertainment law firm, so it won't be easy.
I took it as her saying she didn't want to be sitting home for 24 years while Clay was out there playing in her face and traumatizing their kids, which fair enough. I think most people don't want to be humiliated and degraded for a quarter of a century.
None of the women's houses were shown. So you are just throwing shade because you don't like AD. When and What interview did AD trash Clay? Clay and his messy family and friends just don't like they aren't getting love from the fans. AD didn't want to be a mom to Clay. Clay is a child. As for a Sugar Baby, the whole concept of that relationship is not a committed relationship so yes she wanted to be married. The double standard is calling her a sugar baby which is derogatory when there is a whole movement of YT women being stay-at-home girlfriends. AD was a girlfriend and her boyfriend paid all the bills. She isn't a bum she was a dancer and she is in fact a relator working or not working in a down market in the USA. This video is why no BW should ever go on a reality show because everyone comes for the BW especially other BW. SHAME!
AD can do whatever she wants. And Clay was wrong in the ways he was wrong. I do think though that if while in the pods AD was saying she was about her business and works and would contribute to the household and IF (based on what he's saying) she did noy seemingly do that, then Clay was maybe not into it. Maybe he doesnt want to "keep" a woman. Maybe he wants to be 50/50 or he wants to wait to do that, or maybe he cant afford that yet. Not all men want traditional roles. Just like AD don't wanna be cheated on like YOU told the world your Mama was Clay. That's all she meant by the comment.

i don't care about Jackie she maligned Marshall and call him sensitive, now when she needed a sensitive man in her time of need, she got what she was looking for.

Clay said she spent her time focusing on being a wife like they weren’t in an experiment about marriage. Clay wants to spin the narrative so bad.
And he sounds dumb doing it

I was a bit confused about that. Like sir is that not the point of the experiment???!😂

@@Rewindwithrekenya Basically 😂
Clay thought he ate. His mom was married for 23 years and cheated on for 23 years. That's nothing to boast about 🤷🏽♀️
@@Sungoddessz and how great to not only mention that to the whole world but to continuing on and on about his mothers business. I thought that was selfish and rude of him to keep harping on that for sympathy. His mom did not want all that out there
I love that when Brittany says Kenneth is really respectful and would never cross the line... you put a photo of him grabbing her ass when they met 🤣
Fully agreed AD and Clay are train wrecks to date at the
Moment but honestly at least Clay to some extent. Owns up to it by acknowledging he needs to work on himself
i think she went on 2 dates with him...that was it
Many, many, MANY "Boss Babes" are susceptible to being fools for love; and even more have found themselves caught out and hurt by their partners - sometimes when all the red flags were there, other times completely out of the blue.
Cameron said he couldn't with these season 6 clowns. 😂
I thought hearing AD say she didn’t want to be like clays mom, that she meant she didn’t want to be cheated on in a marriage
No, I’m with you, Queen E. When I watched the reunion, I also thought AD was saying “I don’t want to mother you” when she said “I don’t want to be your mother.”
Exactly!!
And even if it was her saying she doesn't want to experienced what the mother did... There's nothing wrong
A sugar baby can absolutely be ready for marriage if the man is very well off financially so that is not the same as Clay not emotionally and mentally ready and available
@@MsAnn2 🤣🤣🤣
I didn’t take that comment that way. I thought she didn’t want to be treated like how her mom was treated.
AD nor Clay were ready for this process. I saw that very early on when they were in the pods. I feel they both went on this show for some social media currency.
I've been saying this since day one
The first unbiased opinion. Both of them were not here for marriage. They were having fun and test driving the car🚘
About Clay not checking his friend in the comments: there’s a strong chance that his friend’s comments are Clay’s own comments y proxy…when you silently let the friend go off, that almost equals a co-sign lol
Not almost, it definitely does equal a co-sign
I thought the same and possibly that was a friend he has been involved with and is jealous.
Not only that, I think he told those friends or gave them the ok to do this. It's too many of them coming out
Clay used his friends to say all the things he cannot say directly.
Clay is being obtuse. No one was dissing his momma, except him who went on national TV and talked about what his dad to her.
AD said she had money saved up and made sure she was financially set. She's also listed as a realtor. That ex boyfriend seems in denial. Clay and friends seems like petty jerks; which tracks from what was shown on the show
That money she saved could’ve still been provided by her ex. Just saying
i agree with you that AD was misunderstood. she doesnt wt to live the life his mother had to. thats no insult. that was real. also he said during the season how much hes growing from being with her. how abt some reciprocity, clay? she cannot be your mother and still have sex with you
Sugar babies are literally always ready to be married lol.
I know someone who basically did the same thing in LA lol model - bottle girl - real estate / dating owner
But Clay also gives the vibes of “all women are trying to get my money “
@gabriellem6252 people think they know how it is but they dont. Just bc some man is giving you money and expensive gifts still doesnt mean they're actively fucking. For people in Clay's position ive seen its more of an ego thing or assumptions about what is going on. i know full-out sugar babies who found a man who stepped up and are happily married now. Some women prefer being taken care of even if they can get their own coin.
Plus dating a man with money doesn't make you a sugar baby. Sugar babing is not a relationship at all and both people know this.
I have appreciated the way you handled the rumors about Kenneth throughout this season. You have been very thoughtful and that is important.
I just don’t think he’s gay either
I also understood AD's comment being that she didn't want to mother Clay. I had to go back and rewatch that part of the reunion. Here's the lead up to the comment:
- They had just come off a conversation where Clay was talking about the growth he's done in the year since filming, going to therapy, etc. so that he can be ready for marriage.
- Nick asks AD how she felt watching the conversation between Clay's parents
- AD says the conversation gave her pieces of a missing puzzle in understanding what Clay was battling with. That she couldn't have done anything more to help him. "And I didn't wanna, respectfully, be Clay's mom in the long run."
Idk, to me it could be either way?
I don't think it's meant as an insult, though. Because Clay's mom had to tell her 60 yo ex husband(!) not to make excuses and do right by Clay. I mean, they have been *divorced* for years and she still has to be the one to guide his behaviour because it's affecting their adult children! It sucks, and nobody should have to do this, but clearly she cares a lot about her kids and wants them to lead happy lives even if it means having to deal with her cheater ex and spoon feed him adulting purée.
That Freudian slip was HILARIOUS
*CAST
I agree with your sentiments about AD. Neither her or Clay were ready for the show or both had intentions of getting clout from the show to amplify their finances/ lives.
27:02 Why Clay say his mom only spoke highly of AD...on camera 👀
And why is he ridin for his mom now but he the one put her business on front street in the 1st place
Lol AD telling Clay that she doesn't be his mother and he gets offended by that makes me think, "Well hey if the shoe fits...."
I wish everyone could realise that everyone is nuanced! They have great things about them and awful things about them. Whoever chooses sides like ‘yaaass AD’ or ‘wow AD is pathetic’ like can you just chill? Everyone sucks in their own way and these people on reality shows are just that-people
"Everyone sucks in their on way" haha truth
I saw the AD line about "I don't wanna be Clay's mom" the same way you did! I felt like seeing it from the other perspective was a reach!
But you get what you get when you act the way she did 🤷♀️
She said the man who she chose the first time was too square and polite like a girl. He just had better manners.
So it’s a crime for someone’s BF to be rich now🤦🏽♀️ Ain’t nothing wrong in dating a rich guy. Because someone is rich doesn’t make him a sugar daddy. So many people date and marry rich guys, so I’m not sure why this is different.
They’re making Renee an example so that other future casts can’t speak against them
Jackie can continue to cry tattoo tears. Idc. She did Marshall wrong and now Josh did her wrong back. 🤷🏽♀️

AD’s comment was more so addressed to Clay’s Dad. The fact that Clay can’t separate his own values from his dad’s shortcomings is what she meant by I don’t want to end up like your mom. Being cheated on throughout the long run and giving so much of herself.
AD wasn’t the only home that we didn’t see i don’t know why people keep asking that question.
It was just a question, it doesn’t qualify anything about her finances

It seems like it’s a sensitive topic she didn’t have to mention his momma to get her point across.
I have a hard time feeling bad for Jackie...
You and me both.
Something in the water ain’t clean with AD
When you sang "where is the love" VOCALS!!!! wow
love you❤. At the wedding. They aired Clay saying a line that showed his concern about ADs finances. There are always clues.
I think AD & Clay just needed better communication period. Clay clearly doesn't want a 'house wife' but AD wants to be that.
Also on Keith, I dunno why pple made the leap on his sexuality & wanted to speak on it. I just thought he wasn't attracted & that's also okay lol
Clay doesn’t want a house wife but everything he does gives I want a house wife.
I’m sorry but that’s not true. A lot women keep sugaring even some continue their contracts for decades@@perdybirdie
When AD said she didn’t want to be his mom I took it as she doesn’t want to be a mother to him (Clay)
The video I didn’t know I needed. Thank you! ❤
😂😂😂
I could see this. Realtors make lump sums of money for each sale, and they live in a metro area where the homes are selling! I’m paying my realtor over 10K for less than one month’s work on her end and she’s selling multiple houses at one time! It’s not hard to believe AD put some money aside to take a lil break
When you were reading about that lawsuit I swear there was a moment you weren’t speaking English 😭😭😭 at that point I was nodding in support of you having to read that mess 😂😭
Hahahaha same 😂😂😂😂😂
Didn’t even watch the video yet, but clocked your tshirt! Yess! I love my favs supporting e/o!
I wonder 🤔
Talk about being petty 😂😂😂😂
I'm a new sub after seeing your videos how amazing you are. I love how respectful you are and how you add as much info ❤
AD meant she did not want to be in a marriage where the man had cheated the entire time.
Clay is trying to break the cycle of trauma in his family. I’m not sure why everyone keeps going against his decision. May have went about it in a weird way, but unlike others, he’s trying to be better.
Really hope somehow someway Renee gets justice and closure. They did her dirty 😢
It’s still f’ Marshall 365 days of the year over here.
How interesting at the end Jackie needed a sensetive man by her side at the time of need after booting Marshal for being sensitive
A sugar baby can be ready for marriage. Just depends on what kind of man she ends up with. Some guys like kept women.
Absolutely, isn't it kind of similar to a housewife situation?
I agree. In no way does being a sugar baby mean someone is not ready for marriage. It doesn't even mean that she want to be a housewife.
Please stop this nonsense right now.
Well Jackie you wanted a “manly” man and you got one. Not sure what’s surprising about it.
I read the comment AD made as meaning “I don’t want to be a mother to you” like she doesn’t want to raise a man. So idk lol
I totally took it as clay saying she didn’t want to mother Clay (or any grown man)…especially if she has been a kept woman before. 😅😅
Also, yeah, just being married 23 years is not an accomplishment on its own.
But basically with AD and Clay….this is not the black love representation we were looking for.
excellent tea! ty and have a great trip!!!❤
“I promise you I don’t. You don’t 😐” 😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you for being honest on this Sugar Baby issue. You are the only one that discussed it frankly and asked their viewers the right question.
I appreciate this channel because you don't tolerate homophobia! ❤Also, I love the editing 😅
AD and Clay the content that won't stop giving thanks Queen E.
Love you girl! You are pure magic. You made me beliebe in astrology.
Jackie girl? This is how he always was and you thought it was cute
We need Kenneths mentor and hair twister to come forward
😂😂😂😂
Clay needs to keep that same energy for his dad. I have my own issues with AD, but Clay has zero room to talk
I’m with you Queen E. I definitely took AD’s comment differently. I thought she meant AD didn't want to be a mom to Clay.
Wow, it took 2 years for Jackie and Josh, honestly I thought they'll last for 2 months.
