Saw her being built at the Pendennis shipyard in Falmouth. Must have been 1991. Gorgeous. I wish I had pockets that deep. I was looking after a much smaller 110 foot yacht there at the time.

I find that modern super yachts are too cold and rather than creating a romantic feeling one creates a sexy feeling which is what most modern abode are meant to do. It is like many modern women, they cannot tell the difference between being elegant and being sexy. It is their misfortune not to appreciate the meaning of elegance and being sexy and the media propagate sex rather than elegance in a woman.The same with sea going craft, some project romance while other project a provocative situation, which one may understand. The loudness of products of luxury are blinding many people in retaining what is a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Polish, stainless steel and fibreglass do not always create what woods and ropes come up with. To each of us, his own taste, but there are many human conditions created through the fact that a person makes the wrong choice about his surroundings. Design to impress others is often different from what created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The captain of this classical yacht is very lucky to have lived a life on such a yacht recognising her in all her beauty. Congratulations to the captain and owner of this boat, a gentleman's boat meant to create elegance and majesty.
