Thank you, this is how life can be on our beautiful Ocean Planet. Everyone should learn to sail as part of the experience and education to live in harmony and freedom on our beautiful Ocean Planet.
as a skipper (!) of a very small sailboat and as one who has had the pleasure of spending a week on a Concordia Yawl at a regatta off Mt Desert Island, i still become breathless when experiencing or watching the incredible beauty of sailing vessels. After all these decades, it still makes me shake my head in admiration.
I had met the 112' schooner Mauna Tea in Honolulu. They had just arrived from Cabo San Lucas bound for Tahiti. After an overnight sail to Waimea Bay they offered me a position. I declined since I already had a good job on the water. Any young person should seriously consider signing on to these yachts.
How can wood and canvas be sexy? I guess when it stirs the cockles of the heart. And Leo demonstrates again how special he is - constantly alive, learning and doing.
Im not into fancy things, its not my style and doesnt impress me. Even so i find those sailboats in that format beautiful and very interesting. It also looks like a great time getting together with a crew and slicing the water. Id love to try this.
Me recuerda a tu abuelo Ekdahl que siempre repetía, las cosas me hermosas que uno.puede ver en la dida, un caballlo al galope, una mujer valsando y un buque a la vela.....
If Elton was my friend he would put me on a sail vehicle before I die I'm only 76.crab boats was my life when I was young I'm just watching to die now IT was a good life when I was young I just was stuped as a young man. As thay say we make our bed now we must sleep in it
Beautiful vessel. As a sailor, I’m surprised that very few if any of the crew wore any gloves - either when raising halyards or handling other sheets and lines. Also surprised that with the exception of the guy who had to get into the rigging, not one person was wearing any kind of pfd. On a vessel that size, going that fast, by the time someone realizes you’re gone, you’re gone. Compared to what it costs simply to maintain the bright work, gloves and pfd’s are cheap - esp. compared to the loss of a crew member.
If your hands get snagged you most likely get a, possibly nasty, cut wound. If your gloves get stuck your hand will be pulled along.... There is a reason why you don,t use gloves when working lines, wires or any thing that rotates.
Her original name was simply 'Jessica' - she was built for an arms dealer, and the yacht was named after his wife. She was later re-named 'Schooner 4X' and then Adix.
This boat seems to have a history of attracting owners with criminal backgrounds. Beautiful boat, but not one I would choose to associate with in any way.
Beautiful!! But what is it for!? it takes far too many to handle Her. Not practical. Centuries ago it would be better to just simply build several smaller ones for sailing together!!!!! THERE IS A MUCH BETTER WAY TO MASTER THE POWER OF THE IMMORTAL ELEMENTS OF EARTH!!! OTHER THAN EGO POWER.
Wouldn't it be awful if everything was designed with practical intentions only, think about how many people earned wages building , maintaining and sailing it. I find it inspiring to watch her sail and I think that's the point reslly

If you want practical buy an airplane ticket. I'd love to crew in her.
that's not true. bigger boats travel faster and move more cargo per crewman. Of course, this is a pleasure yacht, so the cargo considerations are moot.
Leo is a legend in his own right. Amazing shipwright..Tally Ho is coming along beautifully!
Sampson Boat Co. Hooooo! Go Leo!
It's Leo! What a pleasant surprise!
Just looking forward to seeing Leo sailing Tally Ho at Antigua Classics Regatta...
...........as a warm-up for the Fastnet race!
Thank you, this is how life can be on our beautiful Ocean Planet. Everyone should learn to sail as part of the experience and education to live in harmony and freedom on our beautiful Ocean Planet.
Saw Leo , and half expected to hear the usual Tally Ho opening line !! ;-) ;-)
Beautiful! Beauty. True wonder of the oceans and seas. Edit: I'm watching it perhaps 7th time. Perhaps I'm in love.
Groovy video. Gorgeous sailing ships all the way around.

Wonderful thank you, enjoy our beautiful Ocean Planet.# HeroesAtSea.

Sampson Boat Co.
Wow. Tally Ho has come along some.
saw columbia pulling along side, wonder what some of others were.
I think I saw Elena to Columbias port.

Hey Pete, what you doing?
What's up Leo?
Me recuerda a tu abuelo Ekdahl que siempre repetía, las cosas me hermosas que uno.puede ver en la dida, un caballlo al galope, una mujer valsando y un buque a la vela.....
What is the name of the double ender beauty at 3:28?
Was on her when she was named Jessica she came into my grandfathers yard in Maine
Prachtige boten ❤😊
the fast & the beautifull
Fantastic……
Does anybody know which sunglasses the person in 0:51/52 wears?
Tightly wound rig...the torque is visible.
Compro 90 embarcações dessa classe para a marinha do Brasil Rio de Janeiro
What kind of name is Adix ? Does that name fit such a splendid yacht ? Is there anything traditional about that ?
It's the nickname of Adela, Jaime Botin's wife
What's the minimum crew needed?
6 I think for cruising
🙏🏻
Is Paul Goss related to Pete Goss? And are Adix sales made from hemp?
No and no, to your questions
Wow
Great to see Leo and a fantastic yacht. Just strange words about inclusiveness. When it's clear that it's an all white crew.
Nothing wrong with that.

Wow x2
I worked on here
Nice video but very heavy music.
Nothing about the tale of the Picasso and Santander......

Doesn't take long to harden the hands, then you don't need gloves... wear gloves always, and your f ed the day you lose em.
I agree with the pdfs stance.
If your hands get snagged you most likely get a, possibly nasty, cut wound. If your gloves get stuck your hand will be pulled along.... There is a reason why you don,t use gloves when working lines, wires or any thing that rotates.
Most professional don't wear gloves my friend
Disappointing as we learn nothing about the boat. It looks like a modern take on the gaff rig .
Ok.now repeat the video without the Fing stupid music please
Great boat stupid name is that the best they could come up with lol
Her original name was simply 'Jessica' - she was built for an arms dealer, and the yacht was named after his wife.
She was later re-named 'Schooner 4X' and then Adix.
Names are subjective , I'm sure the owners are happy with the name.
Before it was named adix it was called kidney stones. So I think adix is somewhat of an improvement.
It's actually pronounced "Throat Warbler Mangrove" Look it up.
The owner's wife's nickname, apparently.
This boat seems to have a history of attracting owners with criminal backgrounds. Beautiful boat, but not one I would choose to associate with in any way.

‘Too many to handle ‘ means more people can go sailing
