+Jordan Doww Thank you for showing me that even though I am something different that I am loved. I have been told time and time again that i'm going to hell for being gay. But I don't care. I am who I am. I am human.
In love with the fact that he not only added sexual orientation but also gender, nationality, religion, feminism, colour, personality and most importantly being yourself in a coming out video. This video should be seen by everyone. This video will defeat hatred. This video is important.
I only just found this video now, but I'm so thankful I did. This video is one of the most real and underrated videos on the Internet. I think that the topic 'labels' is something that needs to be talked more about, and to see that I'm not the only one makes me happy. So thank you for this video, Jordan! You did a wonderful thing with this! I'll definitely share it, no doubt!
*This video really hit home, literally. I live with homophobic parents, and everyday is a struggle with them. They know I'm gay, so there's this constant tension between us. They made it clear that they will never accept my sexuality. I guess it's just something I have to live with.* I truly envy people with supportive parents, especially from the LGBTQ community, don't take them for granted. This was a beautiful video.
+Moe Othman My parents are the same. They grew up believing that being gay is wrong. The main reason for this is that both my parents are religious. One is a Lutheran and one is a Catholic. I support the LGBTQ community but it seems that i am thee only one in my family who does. When Gay marriage got legalized my mom didn't speak about. Some one even asked her what she thought about it and she refused to speak about it. It hurts when a parent or both parents don't support something so dear to you but, our parents aren't going to support everything about us. We just have to keep on living our lives, educating others so we can make a change.
+Griffin Arnlund i love you WAY too much. I can't believe we've been together on this entire journey. It means the world to me. YOU mean the world to me. Thanks for everything, bud.
I knew you were gay, nobody believed me, but I knew and I was just waiting for you to come out. I knew because I can read facial expressions of faces, understanding feel, but I have no emotions none at all for other genders. I am asexual and have no sexual desires yet I can read body language of people. Thank you Jordan for sharing your story. It's so creative. So sad for you laptop again :/ :)
Thank you Jordan Doww for this video. I am a mother of a teen son who is gay. He teaches me a lot. He's not ready to hear how much I understand, but he knows I will back him 100% whatever his journey in life may be. I was 28 yrs old when I had him & had the advantage or even disadvantage (if you will, in some instances), of plenty of life experience in that time. I hadn't 'wasted' a lot of time sitting around. But I always worked hard/played hard. I think that was the 'motto' of my generation. In the songs, the movies, the social scenes. I got to see technology go from a computer stored in a huge room ( temp contr, of course), to a chip you barely, if, see w/the naked eye. Think deeper about who the people are, what they've seen, what they've been through, around/in your lives. I'm not even middle aged yet. I'm Human. I have a Gay son. I Am Proud. That is not what defines him, it's his big heart and Mercy for other's that I could not have, if not For him. If we Had to have Labels, here's one for him....My Heart. ***Raquel***
Jordan, I cannot even explain how proud I am of you. This is the best video in the entire world. I love you. I just want you to know you have all of the support in the world from us, and don't forget that. :) you are truly, truly amazing.
I ADORE YOU PAL! Cannot wait to meet you again next time I'm over for VidCon or before that...I don't really like to label my sexuality however I find that identifying as bisexual really helped me to figure out where I'm at and since coming out life has been so much easier :) Meeting girls is easier, I don't have to hide anything or hold back info when chatting with friends...I feel like ME and I encourage everyone to just live their life for them. BE who you are
+Melanie Murphy MEL. I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH. It was truly so amazing getting the chance to meet you, and this comment speaks nothing but the truth. Proud of you. I agreed with everything!
OUTSTANDING!! When I came out in 1981, it was under duress and cost me an opportunity for a military career. Today, I am happily married to my partner of 25 years. I couldn't have fathomed back then that I would become a human among the eyes of the many. Great shoutout to Human Rights Campaign, and all those pioneers since Stonewall. THANK YOU for making me and others relevant!!!!
READ!! IMPORTANT!! If only we could change the world we live in and make it a better place, no one see's us equally. we need to stand up! even if you are gay or bisexual does not mean you are any different from straight people. anyone who does think that seriously needs to get their head checked. honestly we have got to stand up for what we believe in if you are gay or bisexual then don't hide it, it isn't something to be ashamed of. tell anyone you like and if they don't like you for who you are then they can go and live their own messed up life without you. you don't need people like that in your life, they'll only drag you down! I'm so proud of you for uploading this video! it just shows all the confidence in you!
+sarah lake And see, the reason I uploaded it was not for my personal well-being. I knew it would spark a controversy with about 10% of the viewers but I didn't care. My main intention for this video was to help others struggling finding themselves. I know how hard it was for me, so i can only imagine how others feel. I also couldn't stress enough on the fact that this isn't just a coming out video, it's a video that goes beneath all labels and celebrates how different, yet also the same we as humans are.
Love this so much!! if people would see someone for the person they are instead of a label the world would be a better place!! labels belongs on soup cans not attached to humans!!!
This is so simple... I love that you addressed all labels rather than just talking about how you identify as. I love you Jordan. This is so powerful and I believe that everyone needs to see this. xx
+NiallisIrish Thanks so so much. Yeah, my intention was to address them all to state the fact that Yes, we're all so different, but also all the same at the end of the day :)
More than one year passed, and I never get tired of seeing this clip, one of my favourite videos ever. It's incredible how a video of less than two minutes can be so meaningful.
One of the most inspiring videos I have ever watched. I really enjoy when people are not afraid to stand up for what they believe in, even though people around them might not think the same way. Jordan, yet another fantastic video I will be sharing! Keep up the filming :)
Very cool. Came across your article on MTV which was very good. The only part I don't like or I find lots of people do, is when people say things similar to what you wrote: "When I was 13, I had the first sense that I was different. I mean, I always knew something was off". I wish people would stop saying that they were or felt different or something was off. That implies there's something wrong with you and that you should be some other way, and that's not the case. You were never different nor off, you were just you, and I wish people would realize that and stop degrading themselves. So many gay people do that, thinking that they're different or off...but different from what? Off how? Straight people don't think that, it seems to be only us gays, which is ridiculous and plays into what society has been telling us for decades...if you're not straight you're different, if you're not straight you're off. No. You're an original. Hopefully when you hear stories in the future you'll be able to correct other people's views of themselves and let them know they were never different or off. 🤗 PS, Reach was really good!
couldn’t agree more!!! i view it the same exact way now that i’ve been proudly out for 6 years. it’s not about being “different”... different from what? the norm? what is the norm? there isn’t one / shouldn’t be one. sending you so much love 💛 thank you!!!
Jordan you probably don't remember me. We went to school together, you graduated a year before I did. I remember you as the class clown and you were always smiling in the hallways and making people laugh. I just came back across your channel not too long ago and I had to see this video. I'm so proud of you for making it this far in your RUclips channel, I remember when you were first starting out. Congrats on making it this far and I wish you so much success in your future years to come. I hope you are doing well :)
I am super proud of you and completely love the message! Thank you for reminding us, that we are all human and all deserve to be treated as such. This shouldn't change anyones opinion of you, as it hasn't changed mine! You're still an amazing human who's set to do amazing things! SO PROUD!
''cause the day you're comfortable with yourself, is the day you start living.'' that phrase, and the whole video left me speechless. this should have millions of views and likes. I honestly hate labels. we are all humans, no matter what. this video, and every person that participated in this are amazing. love you lots Jordan ❤
This video gave me so many chills! My favorite line: "The day you are comfortable with yourself is the day you start living." The hardest part, personally, for me was accepting myself first. Still working on that, but this video definitely helps. You're awesome, Jordan. Proud to be a Human with you!
+Jordan Doww Hey! Thank you. It means a lot. I'm slowly understanding and gaining the confidence I need to be happy. it has always been something I've had a hard time gaining since I was a kid, but friends, and even strangers, really know how to build it up in you. I also wish you the absolute best! You deserve every ounce of happiness you'll receive. You're kind, talented, intelligent, etc. I can tell you will be successful, so keep at it. And for those hard times, well that's what friends, family, and us strangers in the comment section are for! :)
This was just so beyond amazing and inspiring. I've wanted someone to make a video like this for so long saying how labels shouldn't matter and how they shouldn't be so important. In fact labels shouldn't even exist. You are not a sexuality or a race or even a religion. These parts of your life do not make up who you are, they don't define you. They are just one small part of a complex being. You are not a label, you are a person. You are you.
I follow Matthew lush. I was led here by him. I come from a Christian family, who may not be judgemental about everything, but they voice their opinions about a lot. I have often wondered what they would do if I had done something against their beliefs, but people like you, make me okay with it. I'm okay with myself. I'm okay with my beliefs. I'm okay with accepting everyone and anyone who walks into my heart. I will never stop sharing these kinds of videos, because there will never be enough people who care. So to you, thank you. All of the opinions I tried so hard please, they don't matter... because I am human, and I am me.
I'm so blessed to finally be in a world of acceptance and so blessed to be surrounded by people who love and support me. I do wish more people can see this and understand that no matter what skin, sexuality, and religion you are, everyone is human. Skin, sexuality. Religion, everything shouldn't define a person. Everyone deserves to be able to live their life and shouldn't feel ashamed in any way. This honestly made me tear up but in a good way. Love you
I remember when you first upload it; it went viral every RUclipsr I watch was saying how proud they were of you on Twitter. And I always saw it everywhere there was a hashtag trending too. After a while I was like who's this Jordan I've never heard of him. And then I watched it and thought of how inspiring it was. And then I watched some older video's and then when I was caught up I started watching every new video. You've been verified on some social medias, been on TV and radio, you've messaged me a couple times on Facebook and Instagram, you've liked my tweets, and now you got nominated for a Teen Choice award and turned 21! I'm so proud of you Jordan! Just so you know I'm currently crying! I love you so much and I'm so happy I watched this video and been on your journey through it all! I love you Jordan! ❤️💛💚💙💜
Ok Jordan, I just stubled upon this video about have know watched it about 70 times! It is amazing about truly gives me chills. Before this video I was always a major activist for LGBTQ+ rights and equality in general, but this just truly inspired me. I am straight, white, Jewish, female, and American. This video inspired me even more to go out there and show that we are all human and live on this earth together! I even wrote a long facebook post and tagged the video. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Jordan, I'm literally crying... That kind of made me... Wow... I so proud of you, your words honestly make so much sense. This message needs to get out to more people!!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!!
WOW! This is spectacular. What a great way to communicate these values. Inventive, creative, honest, a fresh approach to a topic that seems talked-out, and then you come along and give it new meaning. Well done. (Notes from a 68 yr old who wasn't able to come out until I was 31.)
The hardest thing about coming to terms with my sexuality was probably the strictness of my religion. Growing up in a school and church who basically frowned upon the LGBTQ+ community is pretty, interesting? To say the least. I am a pansexual/demisexual person, still haven't come out to my family. I've come out to myself, two other friends, and my best friend aka my crush who I haven't told my feelings yet and am currently trying to work up the courage to tell her my feelings. I usually watch this video or the video of Charlie Carver's coming out story to try to build up my courage because I want to kinda do something special with it.
This is so beautiful and unique. It makes me feel like I am in a world where I can be me and no one has the right to label me, only I do. Thank you for sharing this message and inspiring thousands, including me. ❤️
Wow, I just saw this vid. And while I was watching it all I could think about was 'Did I make this video?' It's simply all i wanted to tell people around me and i think it's the only thing you should believe in to become a 'humanitarian' It's much harder to talk about this stuff in a third world country but this video just remind me not to give up easily. Thank you jordan, I LOVE what you're doing and i hope you continue doing what you're doing.
Jordan. really happy and proud!! Thanks for this! It's like you're talking for all of us. Thank you again Jordan. you have no idea what impact you have put on me through this video. Thanks.
It's sad how labels are mixed with negative connotations and we can't all be seen as equal humans. Congratulations this is a very moving video, I hope more people like you spread this message.

Why doesn't this have more views? It's a shame that all the tag videos, pranks and challenges are way popular than inspirational videos like these! I'm glad I found your channel Jordan, you are an amazing human being :) x

Honestly tho, one of the best online coming out video. This should be an add on tv for, idk the human rights campaign or something it's that good.
Amen! We're all people. We're all children of God. There's room enough in this world for everyone.
I love this comment. Thank you.
*I COMPLETELY SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR MESSAGE! GO JORDAN!*
btw thank you for this! supporting each other is so important!
+lexyheartsbeauty THANK YOUUUUU

+Daniel Mezquita :')
+Daniel Mesquite Thanks so much, Daniel! Means the world to me!
Jordan Doww always :)
This is what we should be seeing for school presentations because ppl first have to know that it is ok to be who you are.
Love you Jordan. Always have.:) TALK SOON!
+Skyler Seymour LOVE YOU BUDDY. I MISS YOU.
This was such a phenomenal video!! Great job Jordan!!
Oh my gosh. This was so beautiful and powerful. It made me cry a little.
+Lewis Anon GOOOOD. Haha, just kidding. But thank you SO SO much :)
Chills, I got chills from this. Beautifully put together. Absolutely loved it!
This video is so great! It’s good to be different and not just be labeled as a ‘minority’ or a ‘straight white male’
All of the opinions I tried so hard please, they don't matter... because I am human, and I am me.
omg this was amazing Jordan! I don't really know you but we have mutual friends and i loved this! congrats! 💖
+iamjamessss WHO WHO WHOOOOO
I'm so blessed to finally be in a world of acceptance and so blessed to be surrounded by people who love and support me. I do wish more people can see this and understand that no matter what skin, sexuality, and religion you are, everyone is human. Skin, sexuality. Religion, everything shouldn't define a person. Everyone deserves to be able to live their life and shouldn't feel ashamed in any way. This honestly made me tear up but in a good way. Love you
+TheNamesTiffany I couldn't agree more. All real, honest spoken words that all people need to hear! I am so glad you love the video - thank you
I remember when you first upload it; it went viral every RUclipsr I watch was saying how proud they were of you on Twitter. ❤️💛💚💙💜
This is one of the many reasons why you are hands down my favorite You Tube Vlogger! Much love and support man!
This was super cool. Great concept of everything Jordan :). Love you buddy ^_^
Wow... Just wow. I feel like everyone should see this video, because not every person remembers that we are ALL equal and valid
I am crying because this is so beautiful!!
+sully hamiton thank you so so much
+Jordan Doww you are so inspiring and I can't wait to see more of your content
"I'm franky"😂
My fav
All of my children are in this video.
WOW! This is spectacular. What a great way to communicate these values. Inventive, creative, honest, a fresh approach to a topic that seems talked-out, and then you come along and give it new meaning. Well done. (Notes from a 68 yr old who wasn't able to come out until I was 31.)
This left me speechless and I can't even pinpoint why...
you're doing a great job Jordan and I wouldn't want to miss out on any of your videos
+Imke Driessen Thank you so much. This means a lot to me.
This was an amazing video so moving and beautiful! I'm so glad I RUclips recommended it best thing i have seen all day!
+Joseph Denton thank you so much!
My pleasure Jordan!
An amazing video with an amazing message with amazing people!
Ok this is probably my favorite video... Ever
+R.j. k That means so much to me!
This video is amazing and inspiring; but "I'm Frankie" 😂😂

I LEGIT SCREAMED AND STARTED CRYING WHEN I SAW THIS IS MY SUBSCRIBE BOX
Wow, I just saw this vid. And while I was watching it all I could think about was 'Did I make this video?'
It's simply all i wanted to tell people around me and i think it's the only thing you should believe in to become a 'humanitarian'
It's much harder to talk about this stuff in a third world country but this video just remind me not to give up easily.
Thank you jordan, I LOVE what you're doing and i hope you continue doing what you're doing.
I'm italian too😂😂and when frankie said i'm Frankie i was dying😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️

Jordan. really happy and proud!!
+Jonathan Melena Thank you! that's exactly why I needed to make this video! To address all labels, not just one :)
Wow... I'm bi and proud of it! This vid is so inspiring!

Why doesn't this have more views? It's a shame that all the tag videos, pranks and challenges are way popular than inspirational videos like these! I'm glad I found your channel Jordan, you are an amazing human being :) x
