- February 2024. An update to the video "A circuit of the layout" taken in May 2023.
A passing loop has now been added with a small halt for the workers of the nearby business.
Lots of figures and several vehicles are now in place.
More work has been done to the scenery.
Two of the coaches and all of the buildings now have lights.
All the locos and rolling stock are now weathered.
Nice layout and you have done a good job of fitting so much in whilst keeping it different and interesting.
Thank you for your kind comments, glad you like my layout.
stunning 😍, very nice running session and the double fairlie looks great weathered
Thanks Tom, glad you enjoyed it. I like weathering everything on the layout.
I've got to remember to show my grandson this when he gets back from holiday next weekend, he'll love it, I very much enjoyed it myself....cheers James 🙂👍
Thanks James, I hope your grandson enjoys the video.
@@Gwenen-009modelrailway I'm sure he will 🙂👍
The "folded loop" design is very clever for an 009 layout, ot really gives you a lot of track in a small space, without visually looking like a loop. The line-of-sight blocking is wonderful!
Thanks for your kind comments, I'm glad you like the layout.
Amazing little layout. I love how much detail has been put into it. I myself have started a layout. Still learning the tricks of the modelling world. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for your comments, really glad you like my layout.
I really like your Layout. In my Shop in Germany I am building a modeltrain for the window, I wanted H0 but for "normal" H0 the space is too small. So I found your Layout for H0E, created a track with Minitrix N-rails and ordered a Roco H0e locomotive. But I added a third circle to the layout... so one round more :-) Keep us updated :-) Greetings from Hamburg / Germany :-)
Thanks for your kind comments, glad you like the layout. I would be interested in seeing some videos of your layout if possible.
@@Gwenen-009modelrailway Yes sure. I am still working on the ground base. Please search for the channel "Modellrebellen", I will publish all here in pieces :-) Best regards from Hamburg Germany :-.)
Very nice too. Captures the atmosphere of a narrow gauge railway perfectly
Thanks, glad you are enjoying the layout.
I am beginning my journey in 009 gauge so I’ve seen a lot of layouts on u tube and around the west midlands at exhibitions and I must say I’ve never seen one as nice as yours the layout looks superb can I ask what do you use as walls around your incline track please put more videos up it’s amazing thanks
Thanks, glad you like my layout. I used embossed paper for the walls that I found on eBay. It has the stone texture already on it.
