A fabulous video of a wonderful model railway. To me it evokes the Ashover Light Railway despite the Southern livery on the loco and the vans being L&B. Super stuff !
Way to go, Sid! Way to go! Keep up the good work, little guy! Such a cute little engine, I love Baldwins. At least, I think I do, I'm not an expert but I haven't seen a Baldwin I didn't like. Some video feedback, I think for video's with slow moving trains, like this, it'd help to add some sound effects, such as birds or the rustling of trees, y'know? Keep up the good work, man. You've got a wonderful layout.
This is becoming addictive! such time, skill, effort and imagination has gone into this layout it’s fantastic can I ask what has gone inside your walls on the incline section to make them look thick and what are your wall tops made from, thanks sorry for all the questions I. Just hoping to some extent I can build something half as nice but it’s my first attempt so any help would be appreciated
Thanks again for your kind comments. I'll try to explain the method, which would be easier if RUclips allowed photos to be added to comments! The polystyrene inclines have 2mm cork glued on the top and sides, so they are completely covered. Have a look at the video called Testing Some Pointwork to get the idea. I bought a pack of Cork Expansion Strips (for laminate floors etc) which are very flexible. I glued these on top of the cork so they lined up with the cork on the sides. Both sides were then covered with the embossed wall covering. I then put coping stones made from card on the top of the wall. I hope that makes sense, let me know if you need any more help.
Great video again, loved the whistle when it passed the engine shed and went into the tunnel/under the bridge. I wonder if Joe's cafe sells Dylington Custard ....cheers James 🙂👍

Thanks James, glad you enjoyed the latest video. I think the custard is only available in Dylington, but I’ll ask Joe to investigate it 😀
@@Gwenen-009modelrailway hopefully Joe will be able to aquire a barrel of Dylington Custard to keep his customers happy 😁👍
