    I really enjoy these short and concise stitch videos! Having the written instructions to the left is fantastic too and helps me in becoming more familiar with the abbreviations. I love how you just dive in and begin right away. It makes it easier to rewind if I missed something too. Thank you so much for sharing these lovely vintage stitches with us. 😁

  • @x3whatsup

    to me this stitch has a similar look to a crochet stitch

    • @heatherlyons9417
      @heatherlyons9417 7 лет назад

      x3whatsup Yes, it reminds me of a double crochet!

    • @htmlguy88
      @htmlguy88 7 лет назад

      in theory you can do similar to a double crochet in knitting it just is a lot of explaining to pass the yo through the stitch on needle the basic explanation could be something like yo purl yo pull through purl stitch and yo on needle yo pull through both stitches on needle. or something similar.

    Thanks! Can this stitch be used in circular knitting? If so could you do a video on how to do that... Thanks!

    • @studioknit
      @studioknit  9 лет назад +1

      Oooh.... I think that's s great idea. The modification would probably just be row 4 to Knit rather than Purl. I'll have to try it. Would make a cool hat!!

    • @DrawingWithFire

  • @samanthanicholson9015

    has anyone has issues with angles from the purl row to knit, would it help to knit from the back, angles concerned? i was wondering if it would change the look.

  • @vickiwoods8456
    @vickiwoods8456 7 лет назад

    I'm confused on how to tell the right side from the wrong side. I've heard that for the knit stitch there is no right or wrong. In this video you knit the firt row then say the 2nd row is the wrong side. In this instince it's easy to tell because it's the second row but how do you tell otherwise? btw..love your cute videos
