Luka wasn't always a dead eye shooter either. Jason Kidd... He busts his rear and he's young. He'll be an All-Star. He does too many things well not to be. I'm pretty shocked at his quickness and explosion. A.K. might have hit a Home run on this one.
Luka wasn’t a dead eye shooter? Luka shot over 33% from 3 for Real Madrid as a teenager. Are you insane? Matas shot 27% from 3 and 67% from the FT line for the F’ing Henderson Ignite. I understand you’re excited, and I’m glad Matas is playing well in the Summer League, but Luka is considered one of the best players in the world. Matas is going to be the 5th or 6th option on a team that could easily lose 50 games next year. Let’s try to have some perspective here.
@@TheGbelcher He's not comparing them as players. He's saying that he believes that Matas can improve his shot over time just as Luka and J-Kidd did. 33% from 3 is not a deadeye shooter by any means. The league average is 35% and last year is the first time that Luka exceeded that.
Thank you! He was NEVER NEVER EVER LITHUANIAN!! He grew up 100% in HINSDALE, ILLINOIS (CHICAGO SUBURB). And his Nani’s pronounced (MOTT - ISS). Please people, help straighten out this PODcast bozo!!!!
@@B-Slade ??? he IS Lithuanian. His family lives here. Yes he grew up in Chicago, it means hes a Lithuanian American, not just purely one or the other.
What I want him to do now is learn the teammates to find ways to play them in the court. Get to know their strengths and learn to play with each other.
He wasnt projected to be drafted as top pick like this kid, either. Marko was basically a boom or bust project that not many teams weren't seriously even entertaining as a draft selection(he was known, but it wouldn't have been untelaistic if he became an UDFA).
It's Pro-Nounced "Mah-Dis" fast. He needs to practice his jump shot & be able to knock it down with ease. 10,000 shots per day until its automatic! Something will snap mentally.
Thanks for correcting this guy’s annoying annunciation of his name. And let’s get this clown to STOP STOP STOP SAYING HE’S LITHUANIAN. Only his MOTHER WAS! And his dad lived there for a couple years. He 100% grew up in HINSDALE, ILLINOIS!!! Actually, TWO BLOCKS FROM ME!! In 60521/60514 area codes!!!
Get your facts straight! Matas is not Mat-ass it’s Ma-long A Tas is short A. Matas will be great. Born and raised in the Chicago area! To Lithuanian parents!
He's actually born and raised near Chicago. His parents are from Lithuania
yes and he will play for Lithuania
@@VD1350 you think so?
@@DJonesIsKing he has confirmed it already, probably next summer he will be wearing lithuanian national team uniform
I think the Bulls lucked into drafting the Rookie of the Year. He has tons more aggression than P Will.
Nah Kel’el Ware will be rookie of the year
He was projected #1 overall for a reason.
This kid is legit .
Nope.
@@sergeybezzubov6274 u know nothing about ball kid
@@sergeybezzubov6274what do you know about basketball ruskie?
yep
With his versatility he reminds me of young Kevin Garnett

Thanks 😂@@rini214
Confidence and passion for this game will make this guy shine
If there was a new NBA jam I'd play as buzelis and giddey on the bulls.
Matas loves to drive to the rim and he also can put the ball on the floor and create his own shots as well as a good passer
Like I’ve said before it’s unfathomable. 😊
Straight A.
PF. Patrick Williams is that SF Wing. Ma-tas
It's Maatas, like paasta, a Lithuanian version of Matthew 😊. He was also born in Chicago, his parents moved there, not him. Cheers!
How ironic 🤔

Not sure how he fell out of the top ten, but I'll take it.
Marko Simonevic was a 6-10 Point Forward and Billy wouldn't play him.

Marko was a 7ft center. He definitely had potential. Not sure why he didn’t see the court
He's American born and bred! Automatically you see a white dude and we assumes he's from Europe lol
