I use thee browsers almost every day (also with "Private Browsing" separate windows for random/fleeting stuff): Waterfox, Ungoogled Chromium aaaand... Firefox, but without Arkenfox yet. Still on Win10 btw
P.S. Great video, channel, site and articles! Subscribed on YT and RSS. Glad I found son of Luke while was eventually searching for comparison of matrix, Tox and XMPP lol
tried waterfox some years back
0:32 i want that frogs.
Make sure to mention that librewolf uses arkenfox
Hmmm I like your Desktop
Thanks for flying ungoogled-chromium :)
Yeah, I like :)
Flying?
hi! aren't you apart of the serenityOS team :D
@@folksurvival its an idiom, not sure where it comes from though
@@ucru you could say so, yes :^)
Imma go watch Vicky's video. I'll be back to make sure I reply and like every comment in you're comment section soon.
Huh, I thought I replied this to my own comment
what are the risks, like whats the danger in excepting cookies?
Hey Mr. Denshi! I had another question. Forgive me for leaning on you. Same question but for android? Ive seen stuff like THE FOSS browser. Mull (fork of firefox) Bromite(But I hear thats not receiving proper updates. In short; do you have a recommend?
I'm not entirely sure since a lot of them do struggle to get updates and are often random projects made by unknown developers, but I'd recommend getting bromite and using its updater. If not that, then Graphene OS' Vanadium isn't too bad either, it's just missing a lot of customization.
Thanks for the feed back.
What window manager do you use, can you link the config?
Looks like dwm
What about qutebrowser?
Is it private?
@@abocwsg2328 ummmm yes
@@starrymohannad :)
Add IceCat on it
This could have been a "just use..." video
Eh, I like the useful info
im FIRST
🫠 ur not tho
Thoughts on Brave?
spyware.neocities.org/articles/brave
@@Denshi Thanks for hitting me back. They have a brave search engine now; but I do wonder if it's just google underneath. It affirms to me that you can neuter it for the most part but this link showed me one or two things I was unaware of. I've always gone through the settings and done my best to parse out the nonsense; but you've most likely convinced me to make a switch over soon. Thanks Denshi; And thanks as always for all that you do. Been runnin and gunnin my life and busy af lately but I'm still a big fan of the channel to be sure! Keep it up Amigo!
Chrome of the past
Tired of the crap browsers plant on the home screen. It's all junk. Why'd I want Amazon and Reddit on my home screen lol just leave it clean
i like Vivaldi
Eh, it's okay. I personally don't like all the bloat options out of the box.
Just use brave
It seems from the link I was given that Brave is decent; a better choice then say chrome or funking microsoft edge but it's been pointed out to me by the densh that it may not be 100% which sucks because I really like the interface.
