This is comedy I listened too as a kid in the 70's and 80's.
My mother had a fantastic sense of humour and she watched all the comedy on TV.
I remember her watching the Comedians.
I was young and didn't really understand the jokes but I enjoyed hearing my mum laugh.
I would always sit and watch Cannon And Ball, Morecombe And Wise and Last Of The Summer Wine.
As I hit my teenage years, I grew more towards Bernard Manning, Chubby Brown and Kevin Bloody Wilson.
Then alternative comedy scene came in which I also enjoyed, shows like The Young Ones, Bottom and Filthy Rich and Cat Flap.
So I thank my mum for bringing comedy in to my life.
A sense of humour is the best gift that nature gave to us.
And did you know what - I have even shared humour with a Dog, they really do understand humour. I have found that Staffordshire Bull Terriers have the best sense of humour.

Ignore the saddoes who want to judge it through 21st century PC eyes (no idea about perspective, context, British humour, the switch on/off button, they only have a stunted tunnel vision political obsession but they will be laughed at a few decades from now for their foolishness). Very old school, clever humour. So many fond memories of sitting down as a family and we all laughed together.never to be done again due to all the woke idiots making a fuss about nothing.

Absolutely Jack .Manning and Jim Davidson were banned from television and that spelled the end to great comedy.
