    I got one a few months ago. Had a lot of problems with the 2 bottom bolts on the door not locking but customer service was great and got it fixed. Also got some store credit.

    This video focuses on the features, but I would appreciate seeing the latching/locking mechanisms that physically latch the door shut, and the construction of the safe itself (single wall sheet metal, double wall, etc.) How difficult would it be to penetrate THIS safe compared to the traditional gun safes he refers to?

    I just got mine a few days ago. What I don't like about it is how to top and bottom bolts don't sit flush with the body of the safe. You can literally rock the doors back and forth a good 1/16th of an inch or more. For the price, I was expecting better quality.

      @@CaliforniaHotBoyTV Hey Rich, I am not sure if Gabe reached out to our customer service team or not. The issue he describes sounds like the bolts have were not tightened all the way during assembly. Our patented slide-lok assembly system in the Agile is incredibly rigid once the bolts are tightened. - Note: the Answer is an all welded safe and does not require any assembly.
      Gabe, If you have not contacted customer service, please do, we pride ourselves on the best and fastest customer service in the industry, we will get it resolved or buy it back from you.

      @@CaliforniaHotBoyTV According to their tech department, its normal for the doors to rock back and forth like that and its not the bolts that aren't tightened all the way, its a gap leftover from the edge of the bolts to the body of the safe once the doors are closed. I'm having a buddy weld on a piece of angle to make up for the gap. I can't speak for the answer 8 in that regard. Overall, it still functions to what I wanted it for and at 400 lbs I can't complain much. Good luck with your purchase.

    I'd be sold if I could see a demonstration on someone attempting to break into it. I like the idea of a double door but that also introduced another pry point.
    I don't necessarily see a safe being light as a downside since I'd bolt it down anyway but I would like it to take more than simple tools to break into.

      @Tod Tamayo Nah, no one has posted a video of one being attacked to show how effective it really is.

    This safe is designed to keep unauthorized people of your stuff. Any safe (unless you spend oodles of money) can be broken into if you have a determined criminal. This type of safe strikes a balance between security and portability that doesn’t break the bank.

    Awesome safe, bro. Thinking about getting the Agile model and working up to Answer in time.
    Quick question: what lighting are you using in your safe?

    • @OffensiveGroup
      @OffensiveGroup  3 года назад +1

      The Agile is awesome too! I used an LED strip from amazon. Just make sure you don't get the waterproof kind with the clear plastic over the LEDs. Those don't stick well.

    • @SecureItGunStorage
      @SecureItGunStorage 2 года назад +1

      Kevin, we are adding a light kit for the Agile and Answer safes. Magnetic light strips with a motion sensor. They should be in stock and read for sale in Feb 2022 - it's a little ways off, but it just takes too much time to get tooling and manufacturing in place.

    The bright side to my big heavy safe is no one is going to pick it up and walk away with thousands worth of firearms. If someone breaks in to steal my weapons, they will need a-lot of time to bust in and that is extremely risky for getting caught. Yes, a professional safe cracker could do it rather quick and I'm not saying that is not a possibility but then a professional safe cracker can earn better than me and would want better weapons than I have so why would a professional want my stuff when he/she can simply go buy better? What I have is not much wanted nor going to bring much on the black market.
    I'm not knocking secureit or anything else, I'm just saying a heavy vault has benefit.

      Amazon sells countless kits that are made from led tape lights. Use the sticky tape on back or install a channel with diffuser. I have many around my house and being able to use a smart phone to program is a dream. You can adjust from 16m colors. Super cheap too
